Digital transformation in the banking sector is a continuous process that affects both the external and internal environment by redesigning internal processes and existing methods. There are many reasons that digital transformation takes place, such as servicing remote areas without physical branches, differentiation from competitors or reduction of operating costs. In any case, there are a lot of doubts about the acceptance of digital technologies. Thus, this article examines the acceptance rate of digital transformation in the banking sector in Greece. One hundred and sixty-one employees at Greek banks completed the survey. A Multivariate Regression Analysis was implemented to analyze the items of the Technology Acceptance Model. The findings of this paper indicate the perception of bank employees with regard to new technologies. This paper provides a practical contribution for executives of Greek banking organizations to schedule targeted educational programs to facilitate the transition to the new digital era for their employees. Executives are curious if employees are ready to accept and implement digitalization in their daily job routine. Therefore, the Technology Acceptance Model can provide answers to executives in facing these challenges.

Continuous development of technological innovations especially in the banking sector have stirred competition which has changed the way businesses operate resulting in the introduction of Unified Interface Payment (UPI) services. This study was conducted in order to analyse the adoption of UPI services through Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) in Mysuru. Objectives of study were framed to determine the demographic factors that influence the practices of UPI by the customers, to examine the role of banks in integrating UPI services and products and to assess the various security issues affecting the usage of UPI services by Mysuru customers. Based on these objectives a structured questionnaire was prepared and primary data was collected from 165 respondents. Data was analysed making use of SPSS and other models namely Structural Equation Modeling with Analysis of Moment Structures (AMOS) Software. Finally the researchers identifies that there is a need for convergence of customer’s preference for safe and easy banking transactions. This study revealed that the customer’s model have to be well integrated for progress in UPI operations.

The paper develops a set of hypotheses regarding the relationship between the TAM (Technology Acceptance Model) constructs and external variables such as individual differences, organizational factors, and risk factors. It uses TAM as a basis to hypothesize the effects of each external variable on the use of the Web as knowledge-transfer tool in the university context. The sample of this study will be professors in a university. The contributions of this chapter are twofold. First of all, this study may give an insight regarding the question of when and who is an eager user of new technologies for learning. Secondly, this chapter is the first one to use technology acceptance model in the context of knowledge-management systems.

This study discusses the analysis of the SAP acceptance rate at PT Pindodeli using the TAM approach. The purpose of this study was to determine the acceptance of the SAP system for Pindodeli employees and to determine the factors that affect the acceptance of the SAP system for PT Pindodeli employees. The method used in this research is the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM). The population in this study were 130 employees of PT Pindodeli from 6 Units / Sections, namely Finished Goods, IT, Financing, Logistics, Customer Service, and Purchasing. The sampling technique used by researchers is probability sampling and uses a descriptive approach. The total respondents who got were 61 out of 130 employees. Calculation of data carried out in this study is smart PLS. Hypothesis testing in this study was conducted to test the effect of system service usability and ease of use. The research results prove that usability has a positive and significant effect on SAP system acceptance and ease of use has a positive and significant effect on SAP system acceptance.

This study examines how mobile technology adoption influences customers' intention to book hotel rooms via smartphone. This study empirically incorporated perceived enjoyment and perceived value in the modified Technology Acceptance Model (m-TAM) and tested it as a unified model. Partial Least Square-Structural equation modelling (PLSSEM) was applied to estimate the proposed research framework based on the survey data collected from 386 travellers who booked hotels via their smartphones. The structural model confirms perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, perceived enjoyment, and perceived price value significantly influence consumers' behavioural intentions toward mobile hotel booking. This study confirms that TAM can be extended and employed to predict and explain the acceptance of the new technologies in service industries. This study also provides valuable theoretical contributions in developing and testing related theories and practical implications to hotel operators, online travel agencies (OTAs), and hospitality technology suppliers.

The process of innovation involves getting new ideas accepted and new technologies adopted and used. There are a number of different approaches to theorising technological innovation and this chapter will compare and contrast what I suggest are the most important three: Innovation Diffusion, the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and Innovation Translation, giving examples of how each of these approaches is used in different situations. While there are many advantages to the use of an Innovation Translation approach, it should not be said that Translation offers a better approach than the others in all circumstances and that the others have nothing at all to offer; that would be rather too simplistic a view given the widespread use of Innovation Diffusion and TAM. This chapter proposes that perhaps it should not be a case of always using either one approach or the other but rather the use of whichever is most appropriate to a particular investigation.

Fintech or financial technology originated in India as a fairly young sector. Non-banking financial companies (NBFCs) in India performs a vital role in meeting the monetary needs of the individuals and businesses and are now more concentrated on developing disruptive technology-driven solutions that enable the smooth creation, launch, deployment and execution of customized products and services. In this scenario, this study tries to understand the Fintech adoption behaviour of customers of NBFCs. It also aims to understand important demographic trends in Fintech adoption behaviour. The research is basically centered on the Technology Acceptance Model, which combines brand and service trust in order to explain the impact on behavioral intention. This study is undertaken as an exploratory study among the customers of NBFCs in Kerala during a period of three months in 2019. Using Confirmatory Factor Analysis, it’s found that the model is a good fit and hypothesis path analysis proved that all variables that were considered affect behavioral intention positively. It is also found some demographic factors embracing Fintech.

Insight into the reasons why people adopt or reject technology is one of the most challenging issues in information technology research. This chapter draws on the Electronic Commerce Technology Acceptance (ECTA) framework, which is in turn based on Technology Acceptance Model (TAM) and examines Jordanian government’s employees’ attitudes towards adoption and use of Electronic Mailing systems within their job. The chapter is aimed at providing an overview of the current state of use, adoption and implementation of electronic mailing innovation within organisations, specifically governmental institutions in developing countries like Jordan. More precisely, the author first quantify constructs relating to the current state of governmental institutions’ beliefs and attitudes toward E-Mailing systems technology in Jordan, and then develop and validate the relationships between the various factors that drive the adoption and acceptance of such innovation. A quantitative survey is used to establish and illustrates employee’s behavioural intention and decision to e-mailing systems. The main influencing issues discussed in this chapter that affect these employees imply perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use, employees’ attitudes towards new technologies, and behavioural intentions to use. Whereas, these various issues are suggested in the Technology Acceptance Model (TAM), the enhanced Technology Acceptance Model extends them to include the external social factors proposed in this chapter such as trust, cultural beliefs, and sociology of technology. Eventually, the significant insight emanated from the findings identifies ways of assisting and spurring employees to make use of technology more effectively.

Since investment on cinematic technologies imposes excessive costs on authorities, acceptance of these technologies among its users has an important role in their success and final efficiency. The purpose of this study was to analyze factors influencing on acceptance of technology among Tehran cinematic artists. In this study, at first, by collecting information from the library, determinant variables of usage of new technologies were specified. On this basis, in addition to the variables of model of acceptance of technology, social influence, resistance to change and self- efficacy were studied. In next stage, for surveying the effect of studied components, closed- end 27- items questionnaire was used for collecting data. The measurement tools in this study were the established questionnaire made of a technology acceptance model. The number of sample was determined equal to 211 according to the preliminary study that samples included Tehran cinematic actors. Based on the results, all variables, except for resistance to change and self- efficacy of computer that had meaningful difference less than average, other had meaningful difference more or equal to average. Mean difference of attitude toward usage of technology and of social influence was meaningful in different graduate ranges and mean of other factors shows no meaningful difference in different graduate ranges. All assumptions were confirmed in 5% meaningful level. Keywords: Technology Acceptance Model, Cinema, Social Influence, Resistance to Change, Self- Efficacy.

High tomato losses in the fruit supply chain can be prevented by use of improved or new technologies but these are not usually adopted where adoption behavior is barely known. Based on the Theory of Planned Behavior and the Technology Acceptance Model, this study analyses socio-psychological factors that influence the adoption behavior of traders on new postharvest handling technology, as exemplified by the use of lining material for improving tomato packaging in Tanzania. The study results conclude that the perceived behavioral control and subjective norm were the most important factors explaining respondents’ behavioral intention. Attitude, though found not to be a significant determining factor, was however significantly influenced by perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use. As technology adoption is a prerequisite for structural transformation of developing economies, our results provide new insights in the field of behavioral acceptance research in the tomato production sector of relevant developing countries.

Nowadays, big data technologies are becoming increasingly important in the modernization of organizations’ information systems. Indeed, water and climatology data producers and users deal daily with massive data processing. These actors need new technology to overcome the difficulties in data integration, processing and visualization. This paper presents an exploratory study about the intention to use big data technology by the water stakeholders in Morocco; we also present an exploratory review of technology acceptance model theory, a theoretical framework that explains the factors of adopting new technologies by users.
