In order to make clear the positioning of the port logistics competitiveness of Qingdao Port among the major coastal ports in China, recognize the development level and shortcomings of its own port, and promote the enhancement of its own port logistics competitiveness, this paper uses the factor analysis method and fuzzy equivalence relationship clustering method to select 17 evaluation indicators from the two dimensions at the port hardware level and software level, respectively. Based on the relevant index data of nine major coastal ports in China including Qingdao Port from 2019, this paper makes a comparative analysis on the competitiveness of Qingdao Port in major coastal port groups in China. The results reflect the differences in the competitiveness of port logistics, and find the weaknesses of Qingdao Port in the strength of the port logistics industry, port transport conditions, etc., so as to improve and enhance the competitiveness of port logistics, such as increasing the proportion of port fixed investment, and speeding up the adjustment of transport structure.

The paper deals with comparative analysis of occupations in the regional labor market. Occupation is treated as a multi-dimensional space of characte- ristics, whereas a scalar form of a characteristic makes it possible to carry out a comparative analysis of occupations. Using cluster analysis of a pilot region indicators five meaningfully interpretable clusters of occupations were identified, reflecting their regional specificity.

PurposeThe purpose of this study is to master the development process and the construction effectiveness of backbone circulation network in an all-round way, formulate regional logistics development planning as well as promote the development of logistics industry by scientifically evaluating the logistics development of node cities with a view to analyzing their spatial differentiation features.Design/methodology/approachIn this paper, an integrated evaluation model is constructed by adopting factor analysis, gray target decision-making model based on cone volume and other methods so as to evaluate the logistics development of node cities. The dimensionality of three-dimensional panel data is reduced by factor analysis at first. Then, the gray target decision-making method based on cone volume is adopted to evaluate the development of node cities, whose evaluation results are carried out through the clustering analysis. The clustering analysis is used to determine the development level of node cities and to extract the spatial differentiation features of node cities.FindingsThe results show that the proposed model can comprehensively evaluate the logistics level of node cities and clarify the overall logistics development and spatial differentiation of node cities, which could provide objective evidence for formulating national policies as well as promoting the balanced and coordinated development of regional logistics in China.Originality/valueThe paper succeeds in overcoming the disadvantages of existing methods assessing the logistics development level, such as principal component analysis and factor analysis, which are not applicable to panel data.

This article takes 14 regions in Guangxi as the research object, selects ten indicators that can measure the level of socio-economic development, establishes an index system for evaluating the regional socio-economic development level of Guangxi regions, and uses principal component analysis method and cluster analysis method carry out comprehensive evaluation and difference analysis among the economic development level of Guangxi regions. First, the primary component analysis method uses to comprehensively evaluate the economic development level of 14 regions in Guangxi. The results show that there are vast differences in the economic development levels of regions in Guangxi. Secondly, a systematic cluster analysis method uses to classify and analyze the differences between regions according to the similarity of economic development status. Finally, combined with the results of principal component analysis and cluster analysis, comprehensive evaluation analysis and discussion on the economic development status of various regions in Guangxi, and based on the evaluation results, proposed countermeasures for the socio-economic development and management in Guangxi province of China.

In pushing of the projects of "the Guanzhong-Tianshui Economic Zone" and "Xian-Xianyang Integration",financial development in Shaanxi has also become one of the important topics of current research.On the basis of the theory of financial sustainable development,this paper builds evaluation index system of the financial sustainable development and using empirical analysis in this paper.At the same time,its doing comparative research of financial sustainable development level of the eight major cities in Shaanxi.This papers aim is to provide some recommendations about financial policies and development strategies for the relevant departments.
