The roles of content producers, information receivers, and platform operators affect the stability of the governance of informational platforms. The purpose of this study was to identify and explore the sustainable factors of a platform ecosystem for health and fitness apps across Mainland China and Taiwan by interviewing producers, receivers, and operators. An advanced analytic hierarchy process (AHP) method was applied to derive expert perspectives from apps users and operators, live streamers, key opinion leaders, scholars, and officers across Mainland China and Taiwan via four dimensions and fourteen sub-dimensions of the initial health and fitness apps. The results revealed that the weights of the dimensions of health and fitness apps were sorted by content categories, content updates, user reviews, and platform terms; furthermore, the weights of the six highest sub-dimensions were the following: exercise, new feature, functionality, correctness, monitoring, and privacy. Content producers in Taiwan cared the most about the content category, whereas content producers in Mainland China cared the most about user reviews. Information receivers in Taiwan graded the content category the highest, whereas information receivers in Mainland China rated content updates the highest. Platform operators in Taiwan paid most attention to the platform terms, whereas the platform operators in Mainland China were most concerned with the content category. This comparative study can contribute to assisting the health and fitness industry across Mainland China and Taiwan area to provide an overall strategic operative process by identifying the effectiveness of the procedures, estimative processes, and cost reduction to enhance the competitiveness and further improve users’ experiences and satisfaction for the sustainability of health and fitness information platform Ecosystem.

The interactive mechanism among platform operators, content producers, and information receivers is increasingly complex in human–computer symbiosis. The purpose of this study is to identify the interactive value among platform operators, content producers, and information receivers with regard to information through the health and fitness apps by adopting an advanced Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method derived from professional perspectives of app users and operators, key opinion leaders, scholars, and officers. The AHP method was allocated weightings to the evaluation criteria from the twelve panelists from three groups of platform operators, content producers, and information receivers. After focus group interviews were conducted, four dimensions and twelve sub-dimensions of the initial health and fitness apps were obtained as follows: Content category: Monitoring, exercise, journaling, and sleeping; (2) User reviews: Fuctionality, interactivity, and criticism; (3) Content updates: New feature, correctness, and new language; (4) Platform terms: Privacy, accuracy, ownership, and right of use. The study integrated the panelists’ opinions toward health and fitness apps and analyzed the weight of each indicator according to their importance by Power Choice V2.5. The results revealed that the weights of dimensions of health and fitness apps were sorted by content category, user review, platform terms, and content update, as well as that the weights of the top six sub-dimensions were followed: monitoring, exercise, functionality, interactivity, privacy, and accuracy. Content producers suggested increasing the popularity of their products by adding new features, whereas information receivers preferred to correct problems. Content producers and information receivers graded platform terms as less essential, whereas platform operators rated platform terms higher. This study can contribute to assisting the health and fitness industry and the overall strategic operative process by identifying how the effectiveness in the procedures, estimative process, and cost-down can enhance competitiveness to further improve users experience and satisfaction.

While scholars have focused their attention on women working in management positions within several segments of the sport industry, limited research has been done within the health and fitness industry. The purpose of this study provided career path information and advice to women pursuing a management position within the health and fitness industry. The participants were 480female managers who were distributed the Career Paths of Women in Sports Survey in eliciting responses related to their career paths and career advice. Means were calculated for the quantitative data. A three-step content-analytic procedure was used to analyze the qualitative data. The practical information focused on women climbing the ladder from an entry-level position to the management position they are in today. Career advice included, but was not limited to, continuing education, staying up-to-date on certifications, gaining practical experience, networking, and obtaining a mentor.

In the whole life cycle of production process, the stability of production manufacturing system is an important production factor. However, there were a few researches about the system stability in the past years. In this paper, for the stability of production manufacturing system, a new method is proposed based on Petri-net and analytic hierarchy process. In the proposed method, the reachability of manufacturing system is judged by using Petri-net, and the system stability is calculated by the successful probability of the key production nodes. Finally, evaluation steps of the new method are given, and the new evaluation method is applied in case study.

AbstractIn this paper a hybrid passivity based and fuzzy type-2 controller for chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems is presented. The proposed control strategy is an appropriate choice to be implemented for the stabilization of chaotic and hyper-chaotic systems due to the energy considerations of the passivity based controller and the flexibility and capability of the fuzzy type-2 controller to deal with uncertainties. As it is known, chaotic systems are those kinds of systems in which one of their Lyapunov exponents is real positive, and hyper-chaotic systems are those kinds of systems in which more than one Lyapunov exponents are real positive. In this article one chaotic Lorentz attractor and one four dimensions hyper-chaotic system are considered to be stabilized with the proposed control strategy. It is proved that both systems are stabilized by the passivity based and fuzzy type-2 controller, in which a control law is designed according to the energy considerations selecting an appropriate storage function to meet the passivity conditions. The fuzzy type-2 controller part is designed in order to behave as a state feedback controller, exploiting the flexibility and the capability to deal with uncertainties. This work begins with the stability analysis of the chaotic Lorentz attractor and a four dimensions hyper-chaotic system. The rest of the paper deals with the design of the proposed control strategy for both systems in order to design an appropriate controller that meets the design requirements. Finally, numerical simulations are done to corroborate the obtained theoretical results.

Supersymmetry has been proposed, in particular as a principle to solve the so-called fine-tuning problem in particle physics by relating the masses of scalar particles (like Higgs fields) to those of fermions, which can be protected against ‘large’ mass renormalization by chiral symmetry. However, supersymmetry is, at best, an approximate symmetry broken at a scale beyond the reach of a large hadron collider (LHC), because the possible supersymmetric partners of known particles have not been discovered yet (2020) and thus, if they exist, must be much heavier. Exact supersymmetry would also have implied the vanishing of the vacuum energy and thus, of the cosmological constant. The discovery of dark energy has a natural interpretation as resulting from a very small cosmological constant. However, a naive model based on broken supersymmetry would still predict 60 orders of magnitude too large a value compared to 120 orders of magnitude otherwise. Gauging supersymmetry leads naturally to a unification with gravity, because the commutators of supersymmetry currents involve the energy momentum tensor. First, examples of supersymmetric theories involving scalar superfields, simple generalizations of supersymmetric quantum mechanics (QM) are described. The new feature of supersymmetry in higher dimensions is the combination of supersymmetry with spin, since fermions have spins. In four dimensions, theories with chiral scalar fields and vector fields are constructed.

With the development of mobile internet technology, market-oriented electricity reform forms a new transaction mode that "Internet + power trading", which further promotes the liberalization of retail side market. A large number of mobile power users actively participate in the electricity market transaction. However, the current standards for mobile users who are accessed to the market are qualitative standards, lacking of quantitative analysis. The priority classification method of mobile users under direct power transaction is proposed in the paper. First, the priority evaluation index set of mobile users is established from four dimensions that credit condition, environmental condition, power consumption condition and load importance to achieve evaluation quantitatively. Secondly, Kmeans clustering algorithm based on SOM is used to cluster mobile users. Finally, the paper recognizes the various types of mobile users as a whole and estimates their priorities using the improved AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). The method realizes the specific division of mobile users from a point of quantitative view, and solves the problem of only qualitative standard currently, to optimize the development of direct power transaction and promote the marketization of power market.

In the context of e-commerce boom, network entrepreneurship education carried out by some universities in China plays an important and active role in promoting students’ overall quality cultivation, employment and enterprising, etc. However, researches on the network entrepreneurship education are few and at the initial stage. This paper tried to make an evaluation of universities’ network entrepreneurship education quality and established an evaluation index system from such four dimensions as entrepreneurial spirit, entrepreneurial knowledge and skills, entrepreneurial practice, and social effect. It also built an evaluation model by applying the fuzzy analytic hierarchy process. Empirical study shows that the established evaluation index system has high validity and the evaluation model is of accuracy and strong operability.

The article proposes a conceptual model to examine the relationships between service attributes, brand associations, customer satisfaction, commitment, price of membership, and intention to repurchase in a fitness club. The results show that the services offered by the club, its security, and the promoted image of the club impact positively on satisfaction. The customer relations at the club, customer commitment, and their frequency of weekly attendance have a positive direct effect on intention to repurchase. Perceived price has a negative direct influence. Finally, the research showed that overall satisfaction has a slight positive impact on frequency of attendance. These findings create a paradox for managers of health and fitness organizations who will have to balance the need to increase frequency of attendance to positively impact on intention to repurchase with the need to deliver the service attributes that affect satisfaction and intention to repurchase at high quality level.

A new design method for fire protection, based on analytic hierarchy process (AHP), was put forward, to explore an economic and secure strategy for fire protection of steel staggered-truss structure (SSTS). The chords and web members of SSTS were classified into different important grades by AHP according to the influence which components make on the stability of structure at elevated temperature. And the components are protected by different levels based on the important grades. Furthermore, a comparative investigation was conducted in order to appraise the economic and practical performance of the provided new fire protection method with traditional fire protection. The results indicate that the proposed fire protection strategy for SSTS based on AHP could achieve higher security with the same volume of fire retardant coatings.
