Introduction: in this article the authors examine the complex issues related to certain contours of the future of labor law in the conditions of change. An analysis of contemporary Western and Russian literature on the stated topic is given. Methods: comparative legal, historical, system methods, as well as the modeling method and the formal-logical method. Analysis: particular attention is paid to the numerical growth of atypical labor relations, which are inherent in the postindustrial society. Their main characteristics associated with a deviation from the three classical cha- racteristics (personal, organizational and property), as well as from the model of the traditional «working» contract, are proposed. It stressed the importance of information, technological and social aspects of the new organization of work, discussed the problem of «living wage» and the prospects of its solution. Results: the authors proposed three options for further development of labor law, the most likely one was identified. According to the authors, this option is associated with a reduction in the scope of the mandatory legal regulation of labor relations and the total number of specialized regulatory legal acts, with an increase in the role of judicial law. Accordingly, the role of horizontal (individual-contractual and social-partner) regulation of labor relations increases. The article proposes the author’s periodization of the stages of labor organization. As the conclusions the basic characteristics inherent in labor law of the future are offered: 1) strengthening of flexibility in regulation of labor relations, expansion of the sphere of normative differentiation and contractual regulation; 2) the transformation of labor law towards a comprehensive legal education «human rights in the process of wor- king life», 3) the growing role of international labor law in connection with the process of globalization.

Recent developments in production processes and their automation have led to the definition of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, commonly known as “Industry 4.0”. Industry 4.0 is a very broad domain that includes: production processes, efficiency, data management, relationship with consumers, competitiveness, and much more. At the same time, obviously, Industry 4.0 has become a new theme for management scholars and business economics disciplines and a number of contributions covering various issues and aspects have been published. However, a systematic formulation of all these contributions is still lacking in management literature. Therefore, the aim of the paper is to analyze and classify the main contributions published on the topic of Industry 4.0 in management literature, seeking to give it a unique definition, discover the gaps still remaining in literature and outline future avenues of research in this domain. A systematic review of the literature of the major academic and research databases has been used as methodology to achieve the aim of the paper. This work contributes theoretically to the development of literature on Industry 4.0 and from a managerial perspective it could support entrepreneurs in better understanding the implications and fields of application of the Fourth Industrial Revolution as well as the interplay among them.

Under the conditions of the fourth industrial revolution the objectively developing processes in the economy should receive adequate legal support, not only taking into account the potential positive results, but also able to identify and neutralize the possible negative impact and consequences of accelerated transformation. This circumstance has given rise to the integrated relationship of the project with one of the fundamental areas of modern jurisprudence – the study of the economy digital algorithmization as the main part of the architecture of the fourth industrial revolution, combined with the identification of patterns, trends and prospects of the information society development from the perspectives of different branches of law providing effective functioning of the statutory concepts, security and methods of protection of participants in new social relations. The characteristic features inherent in all technologies of industry 4.0, without exception, determine their complex impact on modern social development, which, of course, should be accompanied by the formation of new social institutions and regulatory mechanisms that ensure them. In the dynamics of public relations development in industry 4.0, the emergence of various failures of different nature and character is inevitable, which, in turn, can adversely affect the rights and obligations of entities whose economic activities are directly related to the technologies of industry 4.0. In this regard, the next issue of the journal “Legal Concept = Legal paradigm” is aimed at solving the problem of improving the foundations of legal regulation of economic entities’ activity in the period of neo-industrialization. The emergence of new social relations, which by their nature inevitably give rise to conflicts, also needs fundamentally new approaches to their settlement, in particular, through the creation of ways to protect the rights of subjects based on the technologies of industry 4.0. At the same time, in order to prevent possible conflicts and violations of the rights of economic entities, it is necessary to create the appropriate preventive legal mechanisms. This project aims to eliminate the existing loopholes, both in the legal regulation and in the theoretical and legal understanding of the transformation processes of public relations in the conditions of the technological revolution and industry 4.0. The problem to be solved by the project is of complex cross-sectoral nature within the legal sciences, which has led to the determination and identification of potential risks for economic entities involved in the implementation and use of industry 4.0 technologies from the perspective of different branches of law. A comprehensive cross-sectoral approach has allowed to analyze the legal development specifics in the conditions of industry 4.0 and to identify positive and negative factors of the fourth industrial revolution, affecting the modernization of preventive mechanisms and legal remedies of economic entities in the new economic conditions, to identify legal ways and means of this modernization and formulate specific proposals to improve the current legislation.

Abstract In our study, we focused on the fourth industrial revolution, which is the revolution of machines at the same time and which affects the world of worthy human work significantly. Let us examine the reasons behind the machine wrecking in the modern era and the technophobia, the negative and positive outcomes of additional spare time, and the state of unemployment. We touch upon the historical antecedents of modern machine wrecking and its present situation. We briefly draw possible alternatives as regards the subthemes. In this study, ethics is ascribed a focal attention since we approach the trends that affect the world of work and have an economic significance in the context of the fourth industrial revolution. We examine the process of Industry 4.0, which has led to a significant transformation of production processes from the aspect of taxation – for example, how the automation of the production processes influences the transformation of the tax system, where humanity is in the changing financial world, or which aspects of the tax system change in the age of the Fourth Industrial Revolution.

In our publication we examine the process of Industry 4.0, which has led to a significant transformation of production processes from the aspect of taxation. At the beginning of the paper, we offer a brief survey of the Fourth Industrial Revolution, analysing the operating mechanism of M2M (machine to machine) and IoT (Internet of things), which are based on large data and cloud-based data storage technology. After that we examine the expected future impact of these processes. The transformation process of the domestic tax system since 2010 has been characterized by the decline in the proportion of taxes on labour and the increase in the proportion of turnover-type taxes. Our most important question is how the automation of the production processes influences the transformation of the tax system. This simulation study was carried out to compare different estimation procedures. Our new numerical results revels that the automation would result almost 6% of GDP cost reduction on live labour force in 2015 on the basis of our calculation. This process is not reversible, so in the future it is necessary to reform the tax system and to increase the tax base corresponding to the reduction of the direct cost of live labour.
