Vocal vibrato in the interpretation of vocal music of the baroque epoch

The purpose of the article. The article examines an important component of the performance of baroque works – vocal vibrato, which often becomes an obstacle to the historically informed performance. A scholarly work that draws on a historical context outlines guidelines regarding the appropriateness of the use of vibrato. The methodology is based on the application of observation, generalization, modeling, and analysis using the historical and logical method. The indicated approach allows us to consider, generalize and summarize information about vocal vibrato, which can be useful both for students and teachers of academic singing and for performers who are looking for answers to questions regarding mastering baroque vocal forms and techniques. The scientific novelty consists in the fact that the data on the vocal vibrato is systematized and analyzed based on historical sources, research by leading foreign art historians, as well as on recordings of ancient works. Highlighted important questions concerning the appropriateness of using vibrato in baroque music. Conclusions. When mastering the vocal techniques for performing musical works of the Baroque era, vibrato issues occupy one of the main places. The use or limitation of this characteristic of the voice must be considered from the point of view of the historical context of the works performed, as well as their content. In addition to high-level technical training, the intellectual qualities, the ability to think analytically, erudition, and musical taste of the performer play an important role. Development of Takaful in the Russian insurance system

Subject. We consider the specifics and trends in takaful development in the conditions of the modern Russian insurance market. Objectives. The aim is to show the possibilities of takaful in the Russian insurance system, provide a brief analysis of limitations, problems and prospects for its functioning Methods. The study rests on analysis, comparison, induction and deduction, logical method, and others. Results. The need for the development of takaful in our country resulted from the fact that there is an increase in the number of Muslims, making up more than 20 percent of the population. This is indicative of prospects for growth. Furthermore, a positive trend contributing to the development of takaful is the significant volume of the property and personal insurance market in Russia, as these types of insurance are implemented in takaful in accordance with Sharia, or Islamic law. The findings can be useful for ministries and departments, management of insurance organizations and development institutions, investment, microfinance, leasing and consulting companies, financial and industrial groups, and large banks interested in providing insurance services and attracting or placing capital in accordance with Islamic financial principles. Conclusions. Thanks to takaful, the individuals of the Islamic faith have the opportunity to meet such financial needs as insurance, thereby complementing the insurance market as a whole.

Increasing the Multiplier Effect of the Agro-Industrial Complex in the Northern Region: New Guidelines for Strategic Development

The article discusses the problems of increasing the multiplier effect of the agro-industrial complex of the Komi Republic as a result of investment, as well as ways to accelerate the economic growth of its spheres and individual enterprises. The problems of motivation to increase capital investments in order to increase production and competitiveness of marketable products remain without due attention. The aim of the study is to substantiate the transition of the agro-industrial complex of the Komi Republic to an innovative and investment path of development, to more active methods of using advanced technologies and resource provision of investments, increasing the share of the intellectual component in their composition. The subject of the study is to determine the level of the multiplier effect of the agro-industrial complex of the Komi Republic as a method for assessing its effectiveness and competitiveness. Research methods — quantitative assessment of the effectiveness of total costs, scientific abstraction, analysis and synthesis, systems approach, historical and logical method, statistical observations. The article reveals the main trends of the multiplier effect in the agro-industrial complex of the Komi Republic. It is proposed to increase the multiplier effect of the agro-industrial complex for business entities to focus on the tasks of coordinating the flows of available investment resources.

The Unique Phenomena in the Meeting between Western Medicine and Traditional Chinese and Vietnamese Medicine during the 17th and 18th Centuries

Based on academic achievements of, primarily, Chinese and Vietnamese researchers including materials recorded in the form of writings, reports, diaries, and letters sent to Europe by Western missionaries operating in China and Vietnam in the 17th and 18th centuries, and at the same time combining the application of two main research methods of Science and History (historical method and logical method) with other research methods (systematization, analysis, synthesis, statistics, etc.) and especially the comparative method, this article aims to clarify two points of focus. The first is the open attitude of Chinese and Vietnamese rulers in accepting Western medical achievements and the positive, respectful, and admiring views of some missionaries towards different aspects of traditional Chinese and Vietnamese medicine. The second is the contradiction in some Western missionaries' perception and actions when they criticized the superstition in the way of disease diagnosis and treatment of the Vietnamese and Chinese, especially the Taoist priests, however they committed to such approaches in the process of examining and treating indigenous people. The study of some of the phenomena that arose during the connections made between Western medicine and traditional Chinese and Vietnamese medicine in the 17th and 18th centuries as mentioned above would make a certain contribution to the study of the history of the East-West cultural exchange in China and Vietnam in general, as well as the medical history in the two countries, in particular during this period.

Etymological essence of the procedural form as a factor of specification of the judge's profile in administrative proceedings

The purpose of the study is to establish a dialectical relationship, etymological features between the certainty of the procedural form of administrative proceedings and the level of protection of citizens 'rights in the resolution of Public Law disputes, the Prevention of abuse of citizens' rights in administrative proceedings, the weight of involving a judge in resolving disputes in separate proceedings. Methodology: in the implementation of this research, general and special methods of scientific knowledge were used: the method of system analysis, the dialectical method, the formal-logical method and the structural-functional method, as well as a number of empirical methods. Results: the authors came to the conclusion that there is no normative deterministic procedure for separate separate proceedings, which does not fit into the traditional logic on the methodological basis of the stages of administrative proceedings – dispute resolution procedures with the participation of a judge, restoration of lost proceedings and execution of court orders.

Review of the monograph “O. Yu. Dyagel. Analytical procedures of anticrisis management: monograph. Krasnoyarsk: Sibirial Federal University, 2020. 268 p.”.

Objective: to conduct a detailed and complete analysis of a monograph by O. Yu. Dyagel2, which is devoted to the study of a wide range of issues related to analytical procedures of crisis management.Methods: the basic techniques of the abstract-logical method were used (analysis and synthesis, analogy, generalization, comparison, transition from abstract to concrete, etc.).Results: the leading line of this work is the differentiation of analytical procedures for crisis management, which implies a further standardization of individual diagnostics of enterprises’ financial condition. The reviewers emphasize the importance of the approaches to diagnosing the enterprises’ financial insolvency, systematized in the monograph.The reviewers assess the grouping of the author's approaches in the implementation of analytical procedures for crisis management, starting with preventive crisis management and ending with arbitration management.Scientific novelty: a new promising direction of financial analysis has been identified: standardization of an individual financial analysis based on specific groups of financial indicators suitable for a specific enterprise and its situation.Practical significance: the reviewers concluded that O. Yu. Dyagel’s monographic study contains examples of the practical application of the theoretical, methodological and regulatory approaches studied by the author, which significantly increases the possibility of their application in practice.

Discrimination in sports as a gross violation of human rights in Ukraine

The urgency of the problem described in the article is the existence of an ineffective observance mechanism of athletes' and fans' rights in connection with the manifestations of discrimination in sports. Therefore, the purpose of the article is to find ways to improve Ukrainian legislation in terms of protection of human rights from any manifestations of discrimination. To achieve this goal, the system-structural method and the formal-legal method, the method of analysis, the formal-logical method were used. The Ukrainian legislation in the researched field is analyzed. The experience of other countries in combating discrimination in sports has been studied. It is proposed to create an institute of sports ombudsman in Ukraine and stressed the need not to improve the criminal legislation in terms of clarifying the provisions of Article 161 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine. The expediency of establishing administrative liability for non-compliance with anti-discrimination legislation, amending the Code of Ukraine on Administrative Offenses, which, in turn, will facilitate more prompt prosecution for human rights violations in sports. The practical value of the obtained results is that it can be taken as a basis for finding a mechanism to improve the fight against discrimination in sports.

On Types of Correctional Institutions

Introduction. Due to the different density of population in the Russian Federation and the scale of its territory, correctional system facilities should represent a unified system, in which the institutions are interrelated and interchangeable. In the conditions of a large number of types and sub-types of correctional institutions, the possibility of interchangeability is weakened. Problems associated with the quality of ensuring the internal isolation of convicts have a significant impact on the level of crime and penitentiary security. Hence, the punishment execution practice should more flexibly use the norms on separation of convicts to achieve goals and objectives of the penal executive legislation. Methods: the research used a dialectical method for cognizing objective reality, a logical method, a modeling method, a formal legal method, a systemic method. Results and discussion: the constantly changing socio-criminological portrait of the offender and the level of crime force the legislator to revise criminal-legal and criminal-executive criteria for differentiating those sentenced to imprisonment. The mentioned reasons also affect group differentiation that occurs in the process of distributing convicts to dormitory accommodation (cells) within the correctional institution. The crime level in a separate RF subject and changes in the state criminal policy require the reassignment of correctional institutions as a whole. The system of correctional institutions should not overwhelmingly depend on the criminal-legal criteria of those sentenced to imprisonment and the changing criminal policy of the state, and at the same time, departmental regulation should not bolster the legislatively established system of correctional institutions. Conclusions: the legislator has established a wide range of types of correctional institutions for those sentenced to imprisonment. Remoteness of some of them from the place of residence of convicts, to a certain extent, has both positive and negative impact on their social ties, which ultimately affects the effectiveness of implementation of the panel enforcement legislation goals and objectives.

BRAND STRENGTH BASED ON REALISTIC AND EMOTIONAL FEATURES AND STRATEGY OF MANAGING IT

The article is devoted to the study of the definition of the strength of the brand by its main features: objective, characterizing the realistic benefits of using the brand, such as profit, cost savings, etc., and subjective, which characterizes the emotional satisfaction of the use of products of a particular brand or cooperation with an enterprise, which consists in the attractiveness of the brand. The purpose of the article is to develop proposals from: determining the strength of the brand's influence by realistic and emotional features, identifying strategies for managing it. The object is the process of brand management of products or enterprises. The subject is theoretical provisions, methodological approaches, methods for determining the strength of the brand on its main features and the formation of management strategies. Methods. Theoretical and practical analysis of works of branding specialists proved the need to use the following methods of research: monographic, analysis and synthesis, structural-logical method, system approach, theoretical generalization, expert methods, correlation-regression analysis. The results are as follows: the differences between the strength and value of the brand, generalized understanding of realistic and emotional components of the brand, offered indicators of their measurement - on a realistic basis by a three-factor model of transformation of brand strength into additional financial flows, emotionally - based on the developed questionnaire, that is, using expert methods, proposed a matrix of brand strength on these features and positioned brand management strategies in accordance with the essence and meaningful load. The main results of the research are proposals for assessing the strength of the brand on the basis of objective and subjective characteristics and their use to build a matrix of positioning strategies for brand management. As the main strategies of brand management it is offered to use the following: strategy of donation, and stratification of the general brand, strategy-aspiration to leadership at use of the strong points and opportunities, exclusive advantages, combining them with own possibilities, strategy of maximization of dominance in the market strengthening the basic direction of innovation, niche strategy - financing specific innovation proposals for target segments of the consumer market, strategy of flank attack to increase cash flows, market exit strategy, strategy of careful promotion, flank donation, donor strategy, attention is paid to the needs of the target audience of consumers in the market for products. The existence of a correlation between the rationalist and emotional characteristics of the brand is proved. Conclusions: brand strength and strategy should be formed on the basis of both realistic and emotional features.

Management Culture Metaphysics: Chaos, Order, Harmony

Introduction. Modern science, based on the abstract-logical method of cognition, is not able to comprehend the deep meaning of management culture in the organization processes of nature and society. A manager who uses a purely scientific approach will see only a part of the management object and not all its integrity and completeness. Purpose and methods. The purpose of the article is a metaphysical analysis of chaos, order, and harmony as fundamental concepts of general management culture, which will create a reliable tool for penetrating the depths of things and give not secondary interpretations, but to understand the essence of management culture yesterday, today and in the future. The methodological basis of the study is the metaphysical and dialectical principles of cognition, systemic and culturological approaches to the study of organizational phenomena and processes, as well as the fundamental provisions of the theory and history of culture. Results. The main approaches to the representation of chaos, order, and harmony in the mythopoetic picture of the world are considered. The most significant features of understanding chaos, order, and harmony in the philosophy of culture of the East are determined. The specifics of chaos, order, and harmony reflection in the philosophy of Western culture are revealed. A metaphysical synthesis of philosophical and scientific approaches to understanding chaos, order, and harmony in the context of management culture is carried out, and its deep essence is revealed. Conclusions. For the first time, a metaphysical analysis of chaos, order, and harmony in the organizational and cultural aspect was conducted, which allowed to penetrate the environment of transcendent management culture and to comprehend its deep meaning. The significance of the study is manifested in the addition of science to new theoretical provisions on the management culture metaphysics, as well as the possibility of using them in the training process of organizations’ managers.
