Swallow's nests are sold as ingredients for soups and raw materials for medicines. Because the price of swiftlet nests is very expensive so many people have started to build a swallow bird house (RBW) by spending a considerable amount of money for swallow bird cultivation. But to build RBW and grow swallow birds requires an exact and optimal location. This study aims to create a system for determining the location of a computerized swallow house construction by implementing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method and the Simple Additive Weighting (SAW) method in determining the exact location of swallow bird house construction to reduce the level of loss and error in site selection. The AHP method is used in estimating the value of each parameter that is determined while the SAW method is used in assessing levels. Based on the 6 criteria for swallow bird locations, namely location height, distance from the city center (industry), air temperature, distance from rice fields / plantations, distance from waterways, and distance from other buildings, the decision support system built can be a choice of solutions to facilitate farmers and swallow nest entrepreneurs in determining the exact and optimal location of swallow bird houses.

Completing the final project is a graduation requirements for a student to do. Many students take final project but don't have a theme for that. There are also students who take the theme of their final project but they are not in line with grades and abilities. On this issue, a research will be assist the National University Information System students in choosing theme of their final project which is processed using collaborative method of Analytical Hierarchy Process, Simple Additive Weighting, and Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique. This research begins by determining the criterion value of each student which calculated using SAW method for weight grades and SMART method for weight of ability, then looking for alternative values for each theme of the final project using the AHP method, the ranking process is carried out the multiplication matrix between the criteria and alternative which will produce optimal final project theme. Keywords:Analytical Hierarchy Process; Final Project; Simple Additive Weighting; Simple Multi-Attribute Rating Technique.

Disasters adversely affect human life. Many people face sheltering problems after disasters. Temporary shelter areas are very important in terms of meeting people's post-disaster sheltering needs. In this study, it was aimed to determine temporary shelter areas in the city center of Burdur. The AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) method was used to determine temporary shelter areas. According to certain criteria and spatial standards, six temporary shelter areas were determined in the city center of Burdur, and their adequacy was tested. Temporary shelters are located in urban open and green lands. Temporary shelter areas determined under today's conditions are adequate. However, it is predicted that temporary shelter areas will be inadequate in the upcoming process. Some recommendations were made about the problems and the path to be followed in the upcoming process. These recommendations will be useful for the post-disaster process.

In the consumerist world, there is an ever-increasing demand for consumption in urban life. Thus, the demand for shopping malls is growing. For a developer, site selection is an important issue as the optimal selection involves several complex factors and sub-factors for a successful investment venture. Thus, these tangible and intangible factors can be best solved by the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) models. In this study, optimal site selection has been done out of multiple alternative locations in and around the city of Kolkata, West Bengal, India. The Fuzzy Analytic Hierarchy Process (FAHP) and Fuzzy Technique for Order of Preference by Similarity to Ideal Solution (FTOPSIS) has been applied for shopping mall site selection. The AHP is used to obtain the crispified weight of factors. Imprecise linguistic terms used by the decision-maker are converted to Triangular Fuzzy Numbers (TFNs). This research used integrated sub-factors fuzzy weights using FAHP to FTOPSIS for ranking of the alternatives. Hardly any research is done with the use of sub-factors. In this study, seven factors and seventeen sub-factors are considered, the authors collected data from different locations with the help of municipal authorities and architects. This work further provides useful guidelines for shopping mall selection in different states and countries.

The selection of a competent supplier is the one important factor to be able to compete with other companies. PT. XYZ, a company located in Sunter, is engaged in automotive manufacturing. In the period of 2017 PT. XYZ has several lines stop due to several factors, such as the delivery of raw materials which is often late, resulting in the availability of raw materials on the production line is less, incompatibility the goods compared to the specifications. Eight of them are stamping suppliers. The purpose of this study is to design an AHP (Analytic Hierarchy Process) model that can be used to determine the criteria and the score of that, also determine the alternative suppliers which are the main priority in selecting supplier stamping.  Based on the data processing using the AHP method, obtained 5 criteria, Quality, price, delivery, capability, and service. The highest criteria’s value is quality with score 30%. While the priority of stamping supplier is PT C (12,49) and PT E is the supplier which is not prioritized because it is in the lowest position (5,68).

A new approach for spatial modelling of transport mode choice is presented in the paper. The approach tackles the problem by considering the trade-off between subjective and objective factors. To obtain mode Preference Rates (PRs) based on subjective factors, the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method is applied. The objective factors are expressed with the journey time from any point in the map to destination according to the available transport mode choice on the specific connection. The results are presented as PRs of individual transport modes. The model is validated on the conducted the survey, with students of Vienna University of Economics and Business (WU) as a target audience. Members of different target groups (age, national, employment) decide differently regarding the transport choice, so it is better to analyse them separately. The presented model can be used for the city transport planning in any urban area. It can help promote the sustainable modes of transport in the areas that are less adjusted in sustainable manner.

Selection of the appropriate composition desalination units can be done with a variety of method approaches, one of the method is the Analytic Hierarchy Process. In determining the desalination unit with AHP method to consider is setting a goal, an alternative criteria and pairwise comparison. Research for the determination of the exact composition of the desalination unit in order to achieve sustainable drinking water suppy in coastal areas and small islands has been conducted. The results of the study are as follows, the energy demand of 50.83%, operator costs of 26.64%, maintenance costs of 14.13% and chemical requirement 8.4%. For an alternative composition desalination unit of RO 10 m3 / day is the best alternative composition with value of 59.61%, the composition of the next alternative is RO 20 m3/ day of 30.40% and the last alternative of the desalination unit composition is RO 120 m3/ day of 09.99%.Key words : Desalination, Mukti Stage Flash Composition, AHP

This study was conducted to assist in the selection of martial assistant coach, to determine who is right. Its results will didadaptkan by comparing the two methods in the decision support system, by using the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) and the Simple Additive Weight (SAW) in limiting the problems in producing the desired solution, using multiple criteria (multi-criteria). AHP and SAW has a different way of doing the calculation. This is done to determine which method is looking for help in making decisions. And in this study are the criteria Discipline, Knowledge, Leadership, Attitude, and Level. And there are sub criteria on Level, which Black (AND I) and Red Black II.
