Stock investment is emerging in this era. The market on stock investment will be predicted to grow every year. Stock price is defined by offer and bid price. With this term use in Indonesia Stock Exchange, it makes people hard to guess on what will be the opening price tomorrow as asking price and bidding price need to reach an agreement. This research will investigate the impact of Dividend Policy, Financial Distress Risk, and Corporate Governance as the independent variables toward Stock Price. This research is conducted by using quantitative research method using secondary data that were taken from the LQ45 companies which are listed in Indonesian Stock Exchange with the population of 61 companies. The samples are obtained using purposive sampling method. The total sample is 42 companies from the year 2017-2019. The data analysis is using multiple linear regression analysis. Based on the results of research and analysis by using SPSS 25 indicate that: Dividend per share (dividend policy) and corporate governance have significant impact toward stock price while dividend payout ratio (dividend policy) and distress risk does not have significant impact toward stock price. It is concluded that the impact of dividend policy, financial distress risk and corporate governance is only 29.2% as the rest is impacted by other variables.

Objective – The purpose of this study is to examine the effect between financial distress, corporate governance, auditor switching and audit delay. This research sample using data on a manufacturing company on the Indonesia Stock Exchange. Methodology – The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis technique. Findings– The research finding show that financial distress and the size of the audit committee have a significant effect on audit delay, while the concentration of ownership, managerial ownership, change of directors, and auditor switching has no significant effect on audit delay. Second finding explain that consideration for companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange to pay attention to the timeliness of submitting financial reports and independent auditor reports so as not to get sanctions from the Financial Services Authority. Novelty – Our novelty research using the relationship of Financial Distress, Corporate Governance and Auditor Switching on new research model to Audit Delay. <pre>The objective of this study is empirically identify the impacts of Good Corporate Governance and capital structure on firm value with financial performance as intervening variable. We operate quantitative approach within the scope of manufacturing company of metal, chemical, and plastic packaging sector which listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange during the 2017-2018 periods as the population. Samples are chosen by purposive sampling method inwhich the company must report the financial statement in a row, obtained 79 observations. The data analysis technique used is financial ratio analysis to determine the condition of the business financial ratios of the variables studied. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The result shows that corporate governance and capital structure influence the firm value, moreover the use of institutional ownership ratio and capital structure will increase the value of the firm. The result also shows that the impact of Corporate governance and capital structure on the company value are mediated by financial performance. It means that the value of the firm can increase if the company able became an effective monitoring tool.</pre>

Objective - This study aims to determine and analyze the effect of financial distress, leverage, free cash flow on earnings management. Methodology/Technique – The object of this research is all companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with an observation period of 2019. The sample determination uses the purposive sampling method and a total sample of 124 companies is obtained. The analysis technique used is multiple linear regression analysis. Findings - The results show that financial distress has no significant effect on earnings management. Leverage and free cash flow have a negative and significant effect on earnings management. Novelty - This research contributes to signalling theory, which is used by company managers who have better information about their company will be encouraged to convey this information to potential investors where this is intended so that companies can increase company value by sending signals through financial statements of companies listed on the IDX. Purpose: The objective of the paper is to examine the impact of corporate governance on the dividend payout policy of firms listed on the Pakistan stock exchange during 2010-2020. As Pakistani investors face issues regarding their return in the shape of dividends and depend upon the firm’s corporate governance strength. To test whether changes in firm code of corporate governance have a significant influence on dividend policy. Design/Methodology/Approach: The panel data has been used for the period 2010-2020 and panel least square has been applied. Further, to test the association, following factors such delisting risk, government tenure, political connection with institutional shareholding as many political firms hold corporate shares which influence the decision to pay dividends. Findings: Findings from the fixed effect model show that corporate governance has a negative impact on dividend policy while government tenure, politically connected firm has a positive impact on the dividend. The study also concludes that firm size, profitability, tax, asset turnover, leverage, and firm shareholding also influence firm dividend payment behavior. Implications/Originality/Value: The implication of study reveals that firms must focus on strong their governance and include more independent directors on the board which leads to favorable strategies regarding investors. The investor must invest in those firm where lower political connection, pay continuous dividend either high or low decease/increase delisting chances, strong corporate governance and firm specific factors also lead to make decision of dividend payment.

This study aims to determine the effect of CEO characteristics interms of facial masculinity, education, and experience to potential of financialdistress. Facial masculinity was measured using dummy variables consistingof masculinity and feminism. Education was measured using dummyvariables of educational level; meanwhile, experience was measured usingdummy variables from CEO work experience. This research used quantitativewith secondary data types taken from annual reports of non-financialcompanies that are listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange. The sampling methodused purposive sampling with the observation period of 2016–2018 andobtained a total sample of 259 samples. The method data analysis usedmultiple linear regression analysis. The result showed that: (1) CEO facemasculinity did not affect financial distress, (2) CEO education did notaffect financial distress, (3) CEO experience positively influenced financialdistress. The results showed the fact that CEO experience is an importantfactor that could improved company performance for avoiding financialdistress potential.

AbstractThe aim of this study is to test the impact of corporate governance and investment opportunity set toward dividend policy with earnings management as intervening variable. The sample of this study is non-financial firms listed in Indonesia Stock Exchange and also a member of Corporate Governance Perception Index on 2012 and 2013. The method that used in this study is multiple regression. The results showed that company with strong corporate governance really cared about shareholders interests by giving high dividend for them. Meanwhile, earnings management has no impact toward dividend policy.

Investors have a goal to get maximum returns by anticipating the impact they will face in the future. In this study the return meant is dividend policy. There are 4 factors that influence dividend policy, namely: (1) debt policy, (2) liquidity, (3) company size, (3) profitability. This type of research is causative with secondary data, where this study analyzes how the influence of one variable with another variable or how a variable affects other variables. The sampling technique in this study used a purposive sampling method. Purposive sampling is the determination of the cellphone and population based on the criteria desired by the researcher in order to obtain a representative sample according to the criteria. The object of this study is a company listed on the LQ-45 Index on the Indonesia Stock Exchange with a period of 2013-2016. The data analysis technique uses multiple linear regression analysis using SPSS version 21.0. The results of this study indicate that (1) debt policy has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy in the LQ-45 index company listed on the Stock Exchange in 2013-2016, (2) liquidity has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy on LQ-index companies 45 which are listed on the IDX in 2013-2016, (3) the size of the company has a negative and not significant effect on dividend policy on LQ-45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016, and (4) Profitability has a negative and not significant effect on policy dividends on LQ-45 index companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2013-2016.Keyword: Dividend Policy, Debt Policy, Liquidity, Company Size, and Profitability

The purpose of this paper is to investigate whether corporate governance is associated with stock prices and trade volume for 62 publicly traded firms on the Egyptian Stock Exchange during 2007-2014. The authors hypothesize that firms with strong corporate governance have a significant impact on stock prices and trade volume. To examine the associations, a multiple regression analysis is used. Consistent with the first hypothesis, this study finds firms with strong corporate governance have a significant impact on stock prices while has no significant impact on trade volume. Findings indicate that quality of corporate governance can affect firms' stock price while trading volume is not affected by the strength of corporate governance. The results suggest that Egyptian firms should improve their corporate governance as it has a significant effect on firms’ value. Also, providing diverse sources of financial information other than the financial statements and to ensure the presence of high-quality financial reporting and strong investor protection. This study is carried on non-financial firms only. This research is important to regulators and standard setters as it shows the information that affects investors’ decisions and the importance of its disclosure. It pays attention of standard setters for setting a corporate governance framework for improving the level of disclosures of publicly traded firms in Egypt.

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui dampak rasio keuangan terhadap harga saham sepuluh bank terkemuka di Indonesia. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode purposive sampling untuk sepuluh bank yang go public di Bursa Efek Indonesia periode 2013-2014 dengan kriteria berikut : (1) memiliki aset dengan jumlah terbesar pada tahun 2013-2014 (2) memiliki informasi rasio keuangan pada tahun 2013-2014 (3) tidak terjadi pemecahan saham pada tahun 2013-2014 (4) hasil pengolahan data statistiknya memenuhi uji asumsi klasik. Berdasarkan kriteria itu, maka jumlah bank yang terpilih adalah Bank Central Asia Tbk, Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Bank Permata Tbk, Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk, Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, Bank Tabungan Negara (Persero) Tbk dan Bank International Indonesia Tbk. Variabel tidak bebas dalam penelitian ini adalah harga saham, sementara variabel terikat adalah Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return on Equity (ROE). Data dianalisis dengan menggunakan analisa regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa variabel bebas (LDR, NPL, CAR, and ROE) secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Secara parsial, LDR, CAR dan ROE berpengaruh signifikan terhadap harga saham. Sementara, NPL tidak berpengaruh terhadap harga saham.This research is to determine the impact of financial ratios on the stock price of ten leading banks in Indonesia. This research using a purposive sampling method for the ten banks that listed on the Indonesian Stock Exchange in the years 2013-2014 with the following criteria : (1) has assets with the largest number in the years 2013-2014 (2) has information about financial ratios in the years 2013-2014 (3) a stock split does not occur in the years 2013-2014 (4) the results of the processing of statistical data meets classical assumption. Based on the criteria, the then banks selected are Bank Central Asia Tbk, Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk, Bank Danamon Indonesia Tbk, Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk, Bank Permata Tbk, Bank Pan Indonesia Tbk, Bank CIMB Niaga Tbk, Bank Negara Indonesia (Persero) Tbk and Bank International Indonesia Tbk. The dependent variable in this research is the stock price, while the dependent variable are Loan to Deposit Ratio (LDR), Non Performing Loans (NPL), Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) and Return on Equity (ROE). Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis. The results showed that the independent variables (LDR, NPL, CAR, and ROE) simultaneously significant effect on the stock price. Partially, LDR, CAR and ROE have a significant effect on the stock price. Meanwhile, NPL has no effect on the stock price.
