Long queue always happen as main problem in re-registration of new students who passed the New Registration Student (NRS). The long queue makes the queueing system crowded and cannot be controlled properly. This research is aimed in knowing the model, process simulation model and how to use the method of Kolmogorov-Smirnov of system for re-registration of new students. The method is suitable on how to solve long queue system with new model and simulation. The proposed method is implemented in Senior High School in Padang, West Sumatera, Indonesia. The result of this research shows that after we divided queuing post 1 into two sub-posts namely post 1a and 1b on the first day and we note that average long applicants waiting at post 1a and 1b are smaller i.e. 2.3 minutes and 2.8 seconds as previously for 15 minutes. Furthermore, we divided queuing post 2 into 2 sub-posts namely post 2a and 2b on first day note that average long applicants wait at post 1a and 1b are smaller i.e. 0.2 minutes and 0.2 minutes as previously for 32 minutes. It can be concluded that the solution to the registration posts can make an average registration time waiting to be smaller.

The article presents simplified queuing system model of freight marine port. The article discusses the basic elements of queuing system, its mathematical solution and structure. Simulation model was created using AnyLogic to analyze an effect of system capacity on queue length. The results were analyzed and the solution for queue optimization was proposed. Key words: queuing system, simulation modeling, AnyLogic, marine port, servers, queue.

The responsibility of Islamic education cannot be carried out unilaterally. Ki Hajar Dewantara stated that it requires the cooperation of three components which called as tripusat pendidikan education (center of three in education), they are families, educational institutions, and society. Those three components are one unit and complement each other. This is what happened at MTs Zainur Ridla (Islamic Junior High School Zainur Ridla) and MTs. Bustanul Ulum (Islamic Junior High School Bustanul Ulum), both of them are in Nonggunong District, Sumenep Regency. The findings in this research indicate that student’s guardians in MTs Zainur Ridla and MTs Bustanul Ulum Nonggunong have awareness about the responsibility of Islamic education. Second, all teacher councils in those two Islamic Junior High School stated that educating responsibility was on their control with habituation for their students in the form of reciting Shalawat Nariyah, reciting short surahs before the lesson began, praying before and after the lesson, shaking hands with teacher councils when coming and going home. Third, the participation of the society in realizing the responsibility of Islamic education through the media and the tradition of Kompolan. Fourth, the pattern of cooperation between madrasah (school) and student’s guardians in the form of: Home visits, inviting student’s guardians, forming madrasah supporting body, and report cards. While the pattern of cooperation between madrasah and society is their involvement in PHBI (Commemoration Islamic Feast Day) activities, their involvement in camp activities, their involvement in accepting new students, and their involvement in enforcing the discipline and regulations at madrasah.

Background: Although peripheral Intravenous (IV) cannulation is a routine procedure performed by nurses, IV access can be difficult to achieve, particularly in emergency patients who have critical illnesses. Ultrasound is used in this procedure to increase the success rate in novice practitioners. Objective: We aimed to determine the first-attempt success rate of ultrasound-guided peripheral IV (USGPIV) performed by emergency nurses in simulation model after having undergone training in the procedure. Materials and Methods: This was prospective descriptive study. The participants consisted of 61 emergency nurses at Srinagarind Hospital Emergency Department from January to April 2020. USGPIV cannulation training was provided by an emergency physician who is also a specialist in emergency ultrasound. After training, we calculated the number of attempts and time required to successfully complete USGPIV in a simulation model. Following this, participants responded to a questionnaire to evaluate their confidence in performing the procedure, as well as its feasibility and practical application. Data were analyzed using a Kolmogorov-Smirnov test, and p<0.05 was considered to be significant. Results: Sixty-one emergency nurses were included. The first-attempt success rate of USGPIV was 85.25% (95% CI 0.761, 0.944), and the mean time required was 47.33+4.89 sec. (95% CI 37.547, 57.103). Fifty-nine participants (96.72%) completed the questionnaire. All items had a mean score of greater than 3 points, with confidence score being the highest. Conclusion: Emergency nurses with no previous experience with USGPIV were able to perform a simulated version of the procedure with a high first-attempt success rate after a short training session. Further studies should be conducted to evaluate nurses’ USGPIV competency in real patients. Keywords: Ultrasound, Peripheral IV cannulation, Emergency medicine, Emergency nurse

The development of higher education in Indonesia is increasingly evident. It is characterized by many private colleges are spread all over Indonesia. But in recent years the government did not give permission to those who want to establish a college. One reason is the government not only menginginkankan development in terms of quantity alone, but must be accompanied by good quality of any existing college. The number of colleges that exist today is already growing its own competition. The high level of competition among private universities is happening now requires every college has the right strategy to attract the interest of new students. Each college offers the advantages of each. However, not all universities have a particular brand image compared with other universities. One of the determining factors of brand image is the satisfaction of its customers. While satisfaction itself arises as a result of service perceived by the customer.College is not only required to provide a good quality education, but they also must be able to provide good service to students as well. Good service is expected to provide satisfaction for students. Of course in the long term, the impact of satisfaction that will form a good image for the college concerned anyway.STIE IBBI Medan is one of the private high school that has a good image in the city of Medan. However, STIE IBBI still have to further improve the quality of services provided to students. It is necessary to maintain the good image that has been owned STIE IBBI today. The plan of the research will be conducted in STIE IBBI Medan. The population is all students STIE IBBI. The long term goal of this research is to STIE IBBI to increase public confidence in higher education that will take in high school applying good quality excellent service. Expected from the results of this study, STIE IBBI can also implement appropriate marketing strategies to improve the quality of service to students. In addition, the results of this research can be a good reference for prospective new students who will pursue higher education in the STIE IBBI Medan.
