Motivation is one of the research variables that is widely studied in various scientific fields, including physical education and sports. However, at the elementary school level, there is still no motivational instrument in physical education that has good validity and reliability. This study aims to determine the validity and reliability of elementary students' learning motivation instruments in physical education. The research method uses descriptive research methods with a quantitative approach. The population used grade 4, 5, and 6 elementary school students in three different elementary schools in one sub-district in Indramayu district as many as 134 students with a sample of 50 taken using incidental sampling. The data collection technique used a learning motivation questionnaire. The data analysis technique used Cronbach's Alpha. The results of the study concluded that the elementary students' learning motivation instrument in physical education had very good reliability. In order to conduct further research with more complex analytical techniques in data analysis.Key words: validity, reliability, motivation, physical education

BACKGROUND Due to the widespread of COVID-19, the emergency homeschooling plan has been rigorously implemented in China. OBJECTIVE This study aimed to investigate the experience and attitude of elementary school students and their parents towards online learning in China during the COVID-19 outbreak. METHODS A 16-item questionnaire was distributed to 867 elementary students and their parents at 10 days, and 141 elementary students and their parents 30 days after the first online learning course. The questionnaire comprised questions regarding the completeness of course and homework, effectiveness, reliability, and abundance of courses, the enthusiasm to take part in online learning, and the satisfaction of online learning. Sociodemographic data, like students’ grades and equipment for online learning, were recorded. RESULTS In terms of equipment, lower grade pupils were more likely to choose TV to execute their online learning. Most of the students had good enthusiasm for taking online learning courses. Most of the students couldn’t do well in the online learning class and homework after class. The majority of elementary school parents thought that the reliability, effectiveness, and abundance of online courses were perfect. In terms of satisfaction, most parents were satisfied with online learning courses, and the score was above 6 points. In consist of parents, most students were satisfied with online learning courses, and the score also was above 6 points. For future study, most parents or students hoped to return to face-to-face learning in our study. Compared with the first stage, the proportion of students completing courses and homework after class in the second stage decreased significantly. In terms of the validity and reliability of the course, compared with the first stage, the evaluation of parents on online courses in the second stage was lower. Parents and students’ satisfaction with online courses decreased in the second stage, but there was no statistically significant difference between the two stages. CONCLUSIONS Online learning can prevent the spread of infectious diseases, meanwhile allowing elementary school students to gain knowledge during the COVID-19 outbreak. Most enrolled elementary school students had full enthusiastic about participating in online learning. Both elementary school students and their parents were highly satisfied with online learning. In the initial phase of online learning, students were able to complete all online lessons and homework assignments after school very well. However, as time went on, the percentage of students who completed the courses and homework on time was decreased. Compared with the first stage, the satisfaction of students and their parents towards online learning decreased in the second stage. As soon as this happened, online learning remained an excellent form of education during the epidemic outbreak. To achieve better teaching results, some corrections need to be made to the lessons, such as making them more interactive.

The rapid development of science , knowledge , technology and information systems make the impact positive and negative impact on education world. An effort to reduce the negative effect of technology appliance on education is by applying character-based education on the Elementary school students. As part of the Elementary School curriculum, a lesson called Physical Education indirectly have focus to develop the character of overall. In order to optimize the character of students through physical education, required several studies about strategy in developing character of students learning through it. Thus, this articles aims to discuss: character based education, physical education as part of character education, strategy of developing the students character through physical education learning. This article using library research as research type. In this research, researchers collected data from various sources contained on news and articles from online journal. The selected criteria of the articles used in this research which have relevant discussion of character-based education, physical education as part of character education, strategy of developing the students character through physical education learning. The conclusions can be described is: 1. The students character shaping through character based education can be optimized on Elementary School Level but keep paying attention on some priciples including: Universal moral values; holistic; integrated; participatory; local wisdom; the XXI century skills; fair and inclusive; suitable with students development; and measurable. 2. The character shaping of Elementary School students can be optimized by physical education through continuous process, correct learning methods, and suitable technic and strategy. 3. The character shaping of Elementary School students through physical education can be doing with inclusive strategy.

The purpose of this study was to develop and test the effectiveness of the character education module based on the school literacy movement. This type of research uses Research and Development (RnD). The research subjects used were fifth grade elementary school students in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data collection techniques by means of observation, interviews, documentation, and questionnaires. The data was collected using observation sheets, interview sheets, photos of activities, and filling out questionnaires. Sources of data obtained from filling out questionnaires, observations, and responses from school principals, class teachers, subject teachers, students, and school committees on the implementation of the module. The resulting module is validated by material experts and module experts. Small group trials were conducted in fifth grade SDN Mojoluhur, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Meanwhile, product use trials were carried out in fifth grade SDNs in the RA Kartini Cluster, Jaken District, Pati Regency. Data analysis techniques are data collection, data presentation, and drawing conclusions and using the t-test to determine the effectiveness of the module. The questionnaire instrument test used validity and reliability, while the quality of the module in the study used expert validation. The results showed: (1) a character education module developed based on the school literacy movement for elementary schools; (2) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is declared valid, the percentage of eligibility criteria for the validator is 75% (feasible) and 83% (very feasible); (3) the character education module based on the school literacy movement is effective for instilling character education in elementary school students. This is shown in the t test the effectiveness of -121.696 1.86 was obtained and the average student character questionnaire before and after using the module increased by 30.08%; (4) the results of teacher responses from observations showed 75.6% (good).

The background of this research is the importance of the attitude of caring for the environment that is planted early on starting from the elementary school level. The purpose of this study is to find out how the attitude of caring for students' environment in 184 Pekanbaru Elementary School. This research is quantitative descriptive research type. This research was conducted at 184 Pekanbaru Elementary School. Based on the results of research assessed from 6 indicators, namely cleaning toilets, cleaning trash cans, cleaning the school environment, beautifying classrooms and schools with plants, participating in maintaining parks in schools and participating in maintaining environmental cleanliness. Based on the results of the study showed that 184 Pekanbaru Public Elementary School students have a very caring attitude towards the environment with an acquisition value of 89.02 in the very caring category
