Abstract This study aims to discuss the methods, approaches, and focus of audit in line with changes in the paradigm of the role of internal auditors at the Regency Inspectorate office.  It also attempts to identify the obstacles in the  impelementation of strengthening the role of government internal auditors or The Aparat Pengawasan Intern Pemerintah (APIP). Changes in the internal audit paradigm are no longer a watchdog role, but must add value to management with a consulting role. The method used in this research is the qualitative approach. The results of the study showed that the methods, approaches and audit focus that should be done in the new paradigm, have not changed as a whole. Implementation of strengthening the role of APIP also has several obstacles such as, human resource competence of the auditors were minimal, the amount of budget was relatively small, the lack of independence of APIP institutions, auditor objectivity was still lacking, and commitment from stakeholders has not been maximized. The effective role of APIP has been difficult to realize if the paradigm shift of the role of internal auditor has not been comprehensive and supporting aspects of APIP's strengthening still have many obstacles. Keywords:  Internal Audit, Paradigm Role of Internal Auditor, Effectiveness of Internal Audit, APIP,Role Strengthening APIP.

Abstract Industry 4.0 is a great opportunity and a tremendous challenge for every role of society. Our study combines complex network and qualitative methods to analyze the Industry 4.0 macroeconomic issues and global supply chain, which enriches the qualitative analysis and machine learning in macroscopic and strategic research. Unsupervised complex graph network models are used to explore how industry 4.0 reshapes the world. Based on the in-degree and out-degree of the weighted and unweighted edges of each node, combined with the grouping results based on unsupervised learning, our study shows that the cooperation groups of Industry 4.0 are different from the previous traditional alliances. Macroeconomics issues also are studied. Finally, strong cohesive groups and recommendations for businessmen and policymakers are proposed.

Management studies have been seen always a discipline based on western theories of the world. It has a prominent place in all kind of modern education. Since it has been explored so much and there are numerous philosophies and researches available on the topics related to the management, but Indian texts and philosophies available on them by great scholars have dominance over modern theories and practices. They have written the lessons for the management of complexities in life and business. Those rules and values have been practiced since the ancient times and proved to be successful and fruitful in every aspect. Even the modern entrepreneurs have a strong belief over them and they have accepted as the best and more useful alternative over modern concepts of studies. Thirukkural is one of such ancient text on wisdom and ethics. The scholars from the contemporary fields admitted and respected the Indian texts because the wisdom and intellectually never shades due to changes and advancement. The article addresses selected problems related to the perspective on the development of Industry 4.0 and social and cultural changes that accompany this development and lead toward the so-called post-digital society. In the field of industry, the changes concern, among others, the functioning of various organizations, and in the perspective of post-digital society – human beings and their relations with the world of technology. These changes lead to an increase in the role of technological factors, hence the current revival of technological determinism, and this, in turn, has to do with questions regarding human subjectivity. In this context, questions regarding humans also revolve around the need to acknowledge their increasing capabilities and scope of freedom, and on the other hand, their loss of autonomy in relation to the world of technology.

Electronic recruitment (E-recruitment) has become a common phenomenon due to the increasing utilization of information technology by the human resource departments in many organizations around the world. However, recently, we can also observe the integration of social media as a part of e-recruitment although the practice is limited. This review paper aims at discussing the role of social media on e-recruitment process based on existing literature. Most of the previous studies indicate that social media is not being used as the main source of e-recruitment, rather as one of the secondary sources. Further, it has been revealed that such utilization of social media as complementary source is getting popular due to the inexpensive availability of information. The paper is expected to be beneficial for the scholars as a substantial literature evidence for reference as well as for human resource professionals for some practical guidelines (based on recommendations provided) regarding the utilization of social media information for e-recruitment.

Can shifting pathways from manufacturing to ‘smart’ manufacturing become a successful leapfrogging strategy? Can low-income countries use the new features of smart manufacturing activities to reboot their industrialization processes with smaller, but more targeted investments in high-technology manufacturing niches that have potential for expansion? If so, what is the role of industrial hubs in this context? These are the main questions that this chapter seeks to address, with a particular focus on Africa. The chapter argues that the changed nature of innovation—both the incrementality and modularity—lends itself to a leapfrogging paradigm, and a holistic framework can help countries embark on this important transition. The chapter considers the example of Germany, where the Industry 4.0 framework has focused on empowering small and medium-sized enterprises, and proposes a new, more calibrated vision of industrial hubs to support smart manufacturing, with policy recommendations.
