scholarly journals The Effect of Online Consumer Comments Among Millennial

Indonesia as one of the countries in the world with internet users reaching 82 million people or around 30% of Indonesia's population, is currently entering the era of e-commerce. Conventional shopping culture is shifting to online shopping. Although Indonesian internet users have not all done online shopping (only 29% of people or 26.3 million of the total who have an internet connection, a Mars 2016 survey source), the e-commerce market potential is still very large. This was followed up by the increasing proliferation of e-commerce companies in the business world, both in large and small scale businesses. Millennial groups are increasingly recognized for their influence in the evolution of social media. Millennials are undeniably the biggest part of society who are familiar with digital devices such as cellphones and computers. Social researchers often classify generations born between the 1980s and 2000s as millennials. So it can be said that the millennial generation is the young generation today who are currently in the range of 15-34 years. In America millennials, 97% have computers, 94 have cell phones, and websites as news sources (Marketing Breakthrough Incorp., 2008). In Indonesia, studies and studies on millennial generation have not been done much, even though the total population of Indonesians aged between 15-34 years is currently very large, namely 34.45%. Millennia generation was researched because based on the Mars survey also mentioned that the largest online consumer in Indonesia aged 22-29 years. Therefore, millennials are undeniably the most important market of many products and services. Research evidence shows that millennial groups in finding information related to purchases refer to their friends and this information seeking behavior is facilitated by digital connections. Therefore the aim of this research is to gain a deeper understanding of millennial communication behavior towards purchases and their relationship to online consumer comments

Orientation: This study aims to analyse the entrepreneurship-driven reasons and characteristics of employee management of the young generation, by analysing the role of psychological contract on employee commitment and organisational citizenship behaviour in the light of the characteristics of the millennial generation as the owners of small and medium-sized enterprises.Research purpose: The main objective of this study was to empirically analyse the effect of the psychological contract and organisational support on the organisational commitment and organisational citizenship behaviour of the employees of small-scale enterprises run by young entrepreneurs, especially in the cohort generation.Motivation for the study: This study attempts to analyse the characteristics of the millennial generation as the owners of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in running the business by examining their managerial characteristics in managing workplace relationship that aims to achieve the stakeholder expectations and improve both commitment and organisational citizenship behaviour of employees.Research design, approach and method: Data were collected in the SMEs owned by young entrepreneurs in a city in Indonesia involving 150 respondents. The research model was tested using Structural Equation Modelling with analysis of moment structure (AMOS).Main findings: The results showed that the employee citizenship behaviour is influenced by the organisational commitment. The commitment of employees was formed by the ability of business owners to understand the needs and expectations of employees regarding opportunities of self-development, pleasant working environment, the benefit as the workload and the work challenge.Practical and managerial implications: This study implies the need for academic institutions and policy makers to get involved in addressing the rising phenomenon of entrepreneurship among the young generation.Contribution and added-value: This study mainly considered the characteristics of young entrepreneurs as the main factor in explaining the success of employee management relationship of SMEs.

This article aims to examine the online buying behavior among a group of Internet users. Based on a sample of over 3,700 Internet users, this study explores their information‐seeking patterns as well as their motivations and concerns for online shopping. Factor analysis and cluster analysis were used to classify the respondents into six types of online shoppers. Coupled with their demographic information and actual buying behavior, it was possible to constitute a distinct profile for each of the segments. Discriminant analysis was also conducted to seek out the important attitudinal variables that differentiated the various clusters of online shoppers. The implications of such classification are also discussed.

Now a day, the internet has become a suitable platform for the trade of products and services. The growth of internet users was 481 million in 2017 and will reach approx. 829 million by 2021. Emergence of online shopping make India like hot bed which inviting the retailers to sell their products online. The boom sub category of online shopping is apparel industry in India. It also reaches to 24% of total online users. Rapid growth of online shopping has led to inspire e-loyalty among online shoppers. In Today’s era young generation has become very active in shopping apparel online. Online fashion market is estimated to reach $12bn to $14bn by 2020. This study measured the four constructs including e service quality dimensions i.e. Privacy, Efficiency, Fulfilment, System Availability and e-trust, e-satisfaction as e-loyalty antecedents. Structural Equation Modelling technique used to establish the relationship between the construct taken for the study. Findings revealed that there are four dimensions of e service quality that have inconsistent influence on e-satisfaction and e-trust. Efficiency is not significantly associated with the e-trust and e-loyalty. Fulfilment is observed as most grounded indicator for e-satisfaction and etrust as well. Privacy is also the important driver to e-trust that leads to e-loyalty.

The current number of internet users in Indonesia has exceeded 50% of the total population, with an average expenditure of IDR 6.5 million per annum for online shopping. The value of e-commerce has reached US$ 87.8 or 52% of the e-commerce market in Southeast Asia. Millennial generation is very familiar with digital technology and becomes potential target to increase market share.

Evolution of technology has completely revolutionaries’ day to day life of common man. Technology has penetrated in our life like anything. These days everybody is using technology for their benefit’s and marketers are no an exception to it. They are using technology to reach to the customers. Days are far gone when people used to line up in stores to purchase the general product. These days, more and more individuals lean toward online shopping, which is presently a pattern of style and fashion. Nagpur, the center city of the country and world-famous for its oranges is advancing towards computerized explosion that makes high significance on the assessment of the present acknowledgment level of online shopping by the youngsters. In this way, understanding the by and a large state of customer's attitude towards web-based shopping is significant for the Nagpurians. In this study, 143 respondents took part in the survey. Respondents were selected through simple random technique. Data was analyzed using SPSS Version 22. This study found that online shopping is very common in this young generation of Nagpur. Major reason for Nagpurains to do online shopping is that it saves a lot of time. However, consumer those who do not shop online is only because of online fraud, lack of personal touch and no return policy. Nagpur consumers do prescribe online shopping as an elective path for shopping.

The e-commerce industry in Indonesia is growing in line with the increasing number of internet users in Indonesia. Unfortunately, many internet users in Indonesia are still unsure about shopping online because of the lack of buyer trust with sellers and service providers. This study aims to identify the factors that influence online shop consumers to conduct transactions online. This research used a questionnaire survey distributed to customers who had ever used an online shop application. The sample used in this research was 468 respondents. The data collected was then analyzed using Partial Least Square. The results of this research indicated that trust, perceived value, and buying interest positively influence consumers’ decisions to purchase using an online shop application.

In this study, patent application filing trends in India for the last decade (2005–2014) were analysed to understand the medical device patent filing profile. As India is the key emerging market with huge market potential, this study was also undertaken to identify the top medical device companies filing patents in India, the niche technology domains with maximum filings, key gaps in medical device innovation profile and scope for business opportunities. It was observed that patent application filings in the medical device sector during the last 5 years (2009–2013) contributed only to 2% of the total patent applications filed, which may be attributed to nascent medical device sector and lack of Intellectual Property (IP) awareness or funding support for IP filings. The analysis shows increasing trends in medical device patent applications in India, with major share of patent applications being filed from the USA. The Indian applications in this sector contributed only to 17% of the total patent application filings in the last decade. Although foreign players dominate the medical device sector, this study indicates that though at a small scale, Indian applicants are actively filing patents in all key domains of the medical device sector. With the enabling environment being provided by the Government of India with recent policy initiatives such as Startup India, Make in India, 100% Foreign Direct Investment (FDI)and so on and support to start-ups for IP filings, the Indian medical device industry is expected to witness aggressive IP filing and innovation trends and is poised to grow exponentially targeting US$50 billion industry by 2025.

<p>The impact of dementia on informal or family caregivers became a public health issue. One well-established tool for the assessment of emotional, physical and social impact on caregivers is the Zarit Burden Interview. Worldwide, it is widely used in epidemiological studies, drug or psychosocial clinical trials, and health services research. The original focus on burden among dementia caregivers has spread to other clinical contexts, mostly in old age and palliative care. Given these diverse applications, issues around the validity and reliability of national translations are crucial to assure that all evidence gathered is indeed of high quality. Moreover, caution is needed on the use of cut-offs for categorizing levels of caregiver strain or of subscales derived from recurrent exploratory factor analyses in small-scale local studies. As with other translations of measures in the health field, researchers and clinicians in Portugal must be aware of how to address bias in using the Zarit Burden Interview and interpreting findings.</p>
