Requirements elicited from requirements elicitation session with stakeholders are usually comes in bulk and it is impossible to execute them simultaneously. In addition, the requirements elicited are unfiltered and usually low quality including ambiguous, incomplete and unclear. The low quality of requirements are then refined in the next activity which is requirements analysis in requirements engineering. This paper aims to integrate requirements prioritization techniques focused on the factor of risk in requirements analysis since the early stage of requirements engineering. It is seems to have a little evidence on that requirements prioritization focus on the factor of risk in requirements based on our conducted literature review. This paper begins with elaboration on requirements prioritization, further to the aspects of requirements prioritization, criteria for best suited technique, a literature review on requirements prioritization techniques. We then proposed a framework for requirements analysis with the integration of requirements prioritization. A case study is elaborated for a better vision on the process of the proposed approach. Finally, this study is believed to produce a better quality of requirements from the requirements analysis process.

This paper discusses the significance of nonmonotonic reasoning, a method from the knowledge representation area, to mainstream software engineering. In particular, we discuss why the use of defaults in specifications is an adequate way of addressing some of the most important problems in requirements engineering, such as: The problem of identifying and dealing with inconsistencies; evolving system requirements; requirements prioritization; and the quality of specifications with respect to naturalness and compactness. We argue that these problems need to be addressed in a principled, formal way, and that default reasoning provides adequate mechanisms to deal with them.

AbstractPeer assessment has been shown to advance learning, for example, by improving one’s work, but the variance of learning benefits within or between studies has not been explained. The purpose of this case study was to examine what kinds of pathways students have through peer assessment and to study which factors affect them when peer assessment is implemented in the early stage of physics studies in the context of conducting and reporting inquiry. Data sources used include field notes, audio recordings of lessons, student lab reports, written peer feedback, and student interviews. We examined peer assessment from the perspective of individual students and found 3 profiles of peer assessment: (1) students that improved their lab report after peer assessment and expressed other benefits, (2) students that did not improve their lab report but expressed other benefits, and (3) students that did not experience any benefits. Three factors were found to explain these differences in students’ pathways: (1) students’ engagement in conducting and reporting inquiry, (2) the quality of received feedback, and (3) students’ understanding of formative assessment. Most students experienced some benefits of peer assessment, even if they did not put effort into their own work or receive constructive feedback. Nevertheless, in this case study, both improving one’s work and experiencing other benefits of peer assessment required sufficient accomplishment of all 3 factors.

Abstract. This study investigates the issues related to underestimation of the earthquake source parameters in the context of tsunami early warning and tsunami risk assessment. The magnitude of a very large event may be underestimated significantly during the early stage of the disaster, resulting in the issuance of incorrect tsunami warnings. Tsunamigenic events in the Tohoku region of Japan, where the 2011 tsunami occurred, are focused on as a case study to illustrate the significance of the problems. The effects of biases in the estimated earthquake magnitude on tsunami loss are investigated using a rigorous probabilistic tsunami loss calculation tool that can be applied to a range of earthquake magnitudes by accounting for uncertainties of earthquake source parameters (e.g., geometry, mean slip, and spatial slip distribution). The quantitative tsunami loss results provide valuable insights regarding the importance of deriving accurate seismic information as well as the potential biases of the anticipated tsunami consequences. Finally, the usefulness of rigorous tsunami risk assessment is discussed in defining critical hazard scenarios based on the potential consequences due to tsunami disasters.

The digital era and the increasing technological reliance of sport are showing a new face of threat and present a new challenge to the sports organizations – assuring the cybersecurity of the organization, the event, the team. While cybersecurity is a central topic during the design and implementation of the security of major sports events for more than a decade, the sports organizations get newly introduced in the domain, and unfortunately, some happen to learn lessons painfully – by suffering a cyber-attack. The present article aims to examine different kinds of cyber threats to which sports organizations are exposed by studying the most common types of attackers, motivation, and the means used for an attack. The applied methodology includes a literature review and case study performed on cases from three types of categories: major sports events; sports administering bodies, clubs, and athletes. The results of the analysis provide systematic information about the most common attackers’ types, motivations, and approaches which can be used as a foundation for further development of cybersecurity risk assessment of sports organizations.

A proposta deste artigo é avaliar o sistema de medição em um estudo de caso utilizando a ferramenta Gage R&R, com o objetivo de descobrir a variação das medições, podendo ser por Repetibilidade e/ou Reprodutibilidade. Na ferramenta DMAIC utilizada no Seis Sigma, a etapa Medir é usualmente a mais complicada e demorada pela baixa qualidade dos sistemas de medições da maioria das empresas. Pretende-se uma revisão literária para melhor conhecimento do assunto, assim, a primeira etapa foi a criação de um procedimento para a empresa em estudo. Após a elaboração do procedimento, os colaboradores foram treinados e a gerência definiu as principais inspeções que afetam o produto para a realização do estudo. Em seguida, a ferramenta foi aplicada e cada saída foi analisada comprovando a presença de variações que poderiam não ser consideradas. Palavras-chave: Sistema de medição. DMAIC. Gage R&R. Abstract The proposal is to evaluate the measurement system in a case study using the tool Gage R & R in order to find the variation of the measurements may be for repeatability and / or reproducibility. The tool used in Six Sigma DMAIC, the Measure step is usually the most complicated and delayed by the poor quality of measurement systems of most companies. We performed a literature review to better knowledge of the subject, so the first step was to create a procedure for the company under study. Following completion of the procedure were trained employees and management identified key inspections that affect the product for the study. Then the tool was applied and each output was analyzed demonstrating the presence of variations that could not be considered. Keywords: Measurement System. DMAIC. Gage R&R.

Educational Institution's Image: A Case StudyThis article presents our findings about the factors influencing educational institution's image. Based on the literature review we composed a web questionnaire which was send to all current students at University of Maribor's Faculty of Organizational Studies. Based on our research results we found out that eight factors influence educational institution's image which have various amounts of influence on the educational institutions image. The factor with the most influence is the quality of professors and of their lectures and the second most important factor is the learning content. These two factors come before all of the others in the matter of influencing the educational institutions image. Our basic recommendation is to build on these factors starting with the most important ones first.

Analysis and risk assessment are procedures which help to improve knowledge and are very important in practice. Risk assessment is possible to conduct only on the basis of exact accurate and tested information about the given system, which truly defines the given system within the spatial–temporal context. High standards of maintenance and treatment are closely linked with the requirements for quality and reliability forestry machinery and technological equipment. These standards are closely related to the maintenance of the equipment. This manuscript is focused on the reliability of standard forest machines used in the Slovak forestry. They are relatively modern and useful in the process of transporting and handling trees. This research showed the possibility of decreasing the production costs related to the maintenance of the devices and how to increase the final profit. The results of the research showed that the analysis of reliability is significant regarding to the quality of performed maintenance and the costs paid for it.
