To keep best talent to stay in the organization, managing human capital is an important part to compete with competitors through its people. The purpose of this study was to determine the influence of training and development, compensation, and performance appraisal toward turnover intention through organizational commitment so that employee retention improvement can be suggested. Methods of data collection used in this study is through questionnaires distributed to 117 office employees. Data analysis method used in this research is path analysis. The result of this study showed that training and development, compensation, performance appraisal, and organizational commitment have significant influence toward turnover intention simultaneously and individually. The way to improve employee retention recommendation are discussed.

This study aims to knowing the influence of performance appraisal system based on e-performance on employee achievement through job satisfaction as an intervening variable on Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatan Sipil Kabupaten Banyuwangi. This study is causal research, it means problem characteristics research in a form cause-effect between two variables or more. Population is employees of Dinas Kependudukan dan Pencatatatn Sipil Kabupaten Banyuwangi with the amount 80 employees. The sampling method for this study was doing with purposive sampling technique and it has been gotten 37 respondents as samples. Data analysis method is Path Analysis. The hypothesis of research are performance appraisal based on e-performance has significantly affected job achievement, performance appraisal based on e-performance has significantly affected job satisfaction, and job satisfaction has significantly affected job achievement. The result of study was performance appraisal based on e-performance has positive and significantly affected employees achevement. It means performance appraisal based on e-performance can increase employee achievement. Performance appraisal based on e-performance has positive and significantly affected job satisfaction on employees. It means performance appraisal based on e-performance can increase job satisfaction on employees. Job satisfaction has positive and significantly affected employees achievement. It means the employees successfully in doing the tasks which have been given by company can increase job satisfaction which got. Banking is one of the fastest-growing sectors because of its contribution to the economy, however, today employee retention is demurring for banks and they are striving to fulfil this challenge. It has been observed from the past few years that it is due to the lack of knowledge related to the proper implementation of HR practices in the commercial banks. The main purpose behind conducting the research is to understand the effect of compensation (C), working environment (WE), training and development (T&D), and performance appraisal (PA) on employee retention (ER). The study used convenience sampling with a sample size of 200 and data was collected from the employees of different commercial banks located in Islamabad and Rawalpindi. The empirical results showed that WE, PA, and COM have a significant positive relationship with the ER whereas T&A has the insignificant one.

Abstrak: Pengaruh Kompensasi, Kompetensi dan Komitmen Organisasional Terhadap Kepuasan dan Kinerja. Penelitian ini bertujuan menguji pengaruh kompensasi, kompetensi dan komitmen organisasional terhadap kepuasan kerja dan kinerja karyawan koperasi. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh karyawan KSP (Koperasi Simpan Pinjam) yang tersebar di Kabupaten Tuban. Analisis data menggunakan teknik Path Analysis dengan model trimming. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompensasi, kompetensi dan komitmen organisasi baik secara simultan maupun parsial berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kepuasan kerja karyawan. Kompensasi, kompetensi, komitmen organisasi dan kepuasan kerja secara simultan berpengaruh signifikan terhadap kinerja karyawan; namun secara parsial kompetensi dan kepuasan kerja tidak berpengaruh terhadap kinerja karyawan.Kata kunci: Kompensasi, Kompetensi, Komitmen Organisasional, Kepuasan Kerja Dan Kinerja Karyawan.Abstract: The Effect of Compensation, Competencies and Organizational Commitment toward Job Satisfaction and Performance. The population in this study is all employees of KSP (Credit Unions/Loan and Saving Cooperative) in Tuban. Data analysis employed is path analysis with trimming model. The study's findings indicate that the compensation, competency and organizational commitment simultaneously and partially have a significant effect on employee’s job satisfaction. Compensation, competencies, organizational commitment and job satisfaction simultaneously have a significant effect on employee’s performance, but partially competence and job satisfaction do not has a significant effect on employee’s performance.Keywords: compensation, competency, organizational comitment, job satisfaction, employee’s performance

Abstract: This study aims to determine the influence of competence and organizational culture through organization commitmen and its impact on employee performance to the PT. Perta Arun Gas of Lhokseumawe Regency. The data used is primary data by distributing questionnaires to 67 employees of the PT. Perta Arun Gas of Lhokseumawe Regency. Data analysis method used is path analysis and processed with the help of Statistical Package for Social Science (SPSS) application program. The result of the research shows that there is influence of competence and organizational culture to organization commitmen, and there is also influence of competence and organizational commitment toward employee performance, however organization culture is not influuence of employee performan PT. Perta Arun Gas of Lhokseumawe Regency. Furthermore, the results of the study found that organization commitmen variables mediate the absolute (full mediation) relationship of competence to the employee performance at the PT. This study aims to measure the effect of leadership styles, organizational commitment to performance with the mediation of motivation in the civil service of the Faculty of Universities in Surakarta. The study population was a civil servant employees in the faculty. The sample is determined by the saturated sample technique, the entire employee staff respondents as many as 76 people. Methods of data collection techniques used are questionnaire. Data analysis method used is the method of path analysis (path analysis). From the results of this study concluded that the style of leadership, organizational commitment and motivation of jointly have a significant influence on employee performance. While the results of the t test of leadership style variable result that leadership style has no effect on the motivation and performance of the organization's commitment and motivation.Variabel partially have a significant influence on employee performance. With the result that the path analysis variables mediate motivational leadership style on employee performance. Motivation also mediate organizational commitment to employee performance. Judging from the coefficient (R Square) we can conclude that the motivation was influenced variable leadership style and organizational commitment of 0.46% while the rest influenced by other factors beyond the study variables. Performance is influenced by the motivation of employees by 44% and the rest influenced by other factors beyond the variables. Performance of employees affected by variables of leadership style and organizational commitment by 36% while 64% is variable - the other variables outside the study.

The application of knowledge management and the strengthening of organizational culture are important strengths in improving the performance of private tertiary institutions. This study aims to determine the effect of knowledge management on the performance of Private Universities through strengthening organizational culture. The population used is the Permanent Lecturer at Majalengka University. Samples were taken through quota sampling. Data analysis method used in this study is path analysis. The results showed that knowledge management directly had a significant and positive effect on organizational culture and performance of private tertiary institutions. Organizational culture is able to strengthen the influence of knowledge management on the performance of private tertiary institutions.

This study aims to analyze the effect of work stress and promotion chance towards organizational commitment and turnover intention of employees in Samarinda pos. Data collection was carried out using questionnaires. The data analysis method uses analysis tools named structural equation modeling (SEM-Smart Pls). The result showed that the work stress had a negative impact on organizational commitment, same as promotion chance and organizational commitment that showed negative impacts toward turnover intentions. In contrast, positive impacts are shown by promotion chance towards organizational commitment and work stress toward the turnover intention.
