The purpose of this study is to provide empirical evidence regarding the effect of the size of the Independent Commissioners and Managerial Ownership on Profitability as measured by ROA. The object of this study is a banking company listed on the Stock Exchange in the 2013-2017 period. Based on the purposive sampling method that is based on the criteria that have been determined, 15 companies were obtained as research samples. The analysis technique uses panel data regression using E-Views 9 software. The results of the study prove that the Independent Board of Commissioners has no significant effect on profitability, while managerial ownership has a significant effect on profitability. Implications and suggestions are explained in this study.

ABSTRACTThis study aims to examine the effect of management compensation, the number of board of commissioners and the percentage of independent commissioners on tax management. The object of this research is the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange. The population in this study is the food and beverage sub-sector companies listed on the Indonesia stock exchange in the period 2013 - 2017. The sample used was Purposive Sampling, a total of 8 companies that will be sampled with 40 observations.The method of analysis of this study uses panel data regression using Eviews 8. The results of this study indicate that management compensation has a positive effect on tax management , the number of board of commissioners and percentage of independent commissioners have no effect on tax management. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of asset structure, managerial ownership, and income variability on the company's capital structure (DER). This research was conducted at manufacturing companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange (BEI) for the 2017- 2019 period. The population in this study were 181 companies, using the purposive sampling method the research sample was obtained as many as 46 manufacturing companies. The data analysis technique used in this research is panel data regression analysis technique with Eviews version 11 as a tool. Based on the research results, it is found that the asset structure has no effect on the capital structure. Managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on capital structure. Income variability has a negative and significant effect on capital structure. Keywords:  Asset Structure; Managerial Ownership; Income Variability; Capital Structure.


This study aims to determine how the influence of firm size and good corporate governance on the occurrence of financial distress in various industrial sector companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2012-2017. The research method used is descriptive and verifiative. The sample used were 5 sector companies which were done by purposive sampling. Data analysis method used was panel data regression analysis using Eviews 9. The results showed that simultaneously the size of the company and good corporate governance have effect on the occurrence of financial distress conditions about 69.2%. Partially the size of the company has an effect of 39.7%, institutional ownership has an effect 22.4% on the occurrence of financial distress, while managerial ownership has an effect of 7.1% but not significant.

This study aims to examine the effect of profitability and good corporate governance on earnings quality in food and beverage companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) 2015-2018 period. Profitability is calculated using Return on Assets (ROA). The proxy of Good Corporate Governance are institutional ownership, managerial ownership, audit committee, and independent commissioner. The dependent variable in this study is earnings quality measured by discretionary accrual using Modified Jones Model to detect earning management. This study used secondary data from the official website of Indonesian Stock Exchange (www.idx.co.id) and the sampling method in this study uses purposive sampling method. The data analysis in this study using multiple linear regression analysis. The results of this study indicate that profitability and audit committee have a positive effect on earnings quality, while the independent commissioner has a negative effect on earnings quality. Other independent variables i.e. institutional ownership and managerial ownership have no significant effect on earnings quality

This research aimed to get empirical evidence about the effect of profitability and good corporate governance as proxied by the proportion of independent board commissioners, number of board commissioners meetings, proportion of audit committee, number of audit committee meetings, managerial ownersip and institutional ownership. The population of this research was companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in 2016-2017. The sample of this research was fixed by purposive sampling method so that was found 88 samples. Technique of data analysis was multiple linear regression. The result of research showed that profibility, the proportion of independent board commissioners, proporsion of audit committee, managerial ownership and institutional ownership had significant positive effect on firm value, while commissioners meetings and audit committee meetings had no effect on firm value

Abstract.The study aims to examine the effect of Intellectual Capital on Market Performance and Financial Performance in the LQ45 companies. It uses the sample of LQ45 companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during the period 2010-2013. The sample is determined by using Purposive Sampling method. The study conducts 72 observations of 18 samples of the companies. The hypothesis is tested using Panel Data Regression. The study indicates that the Intellectual Capital (VAIC) and VACA of companies significantly influence market performance (Tobins'Q) and financial performance of Return on Assets (ROA) and Assets Turnover (ATO). VAHU significantly effects on the financial performance of Return on Assets (ROA) and STVA significantly effects on the financial performance of Assets Turnover (ATO). Meanwhile, VAHU has no significant effect on the market performance (Tobins'Q) and financial performance of Assets Turnover (ATO). And STVA has no significant effect on the market performance (Tobins'Q) and financial performance of Return on Assets (ROA).Keywords: intellectual capital; lq45; market performance; financial performance; tobins'q; return on assets; assets turnover.Abstrak. In recent years, investors have put pressure on companies to disclose more sustainability information. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the intensity of disclosure in sustainability reporting on stock returns. This research was conducted on companies with shares listed in the LQ45 index on the IDX. The number of samples taken was 17 companies, with a purposive sampling method. Data collection was carried out by documentation study. The analysis technique used is the panel data regression analysis technique. The results showed that the intensity of disclosure in sustainability reporting has no effect on stock returns. The high intensity of disclosure does not necessarily attract investors to invest and increase the company's stock return. <em>This research purpose is to analyze the impact of bank soundness on stock price both simultaneously and partially. This research conducted on several indicators which represented by each ratio. There are Good Corporate Governance (GCG), risk profile represented by Non Performing Loan (NPL), capital represented by Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR), and earning represented by Return on Asset (ROA). The population was conventional banking companies listed on Indonesia Stock Exchange during 2014-2018. Sampling method used in this research was purposive sampling and obtained 32 banking companies as a sample. This research using quantitative method. Analysis technique used in this reseach was panel data regression. The result shows that simultaneously NPL, ROA, CAR have insignificant effect on stock price. However, partially there was a significant effect between GCG and stock price. While the others variable have insignificant effect on stock price.</em>

This study aims to examine the effect of good corporate governance mechanisms (consisting of institutional ownership and managerial ownership) and investment opportunity set (IOS) on earnings quality. The population in this study are companies with types of manufacturing industries listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the period 2013 to 2017. The sample was obtained using a purposive random sampling method. Data analysis uses multiple linear regression. The results showed that the mechanism of good corporate governance did not affect earnings quality, and investment opportunity set (IOS) affected earnings quality. Financial performance is an achievement in a company that reflects a picture of the company's financial condition. Good Corporate Governance regulates the relationship between shareholders, directors and commissioners. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of Good Corporate Governance on banking financial performance. This research was conducted in banking companies listed on the Indonesia Stock Exchange in the 2015-2017 period. The number of samples taken was 48 banking companies, with a purposive sampling method. The data analysis technique used is the classical assumption test and multiple linear regression test. The results of this study indicate that the board of commissioners has a negative and significant effect on financial performance. The results of this study indicate that managerial ownership has a positive and significant effect on financial performance.
