Хозяйства и операторы розничной сети не всегда могут сохранить полученный урожай в связи с необходимостью постройки овощехранилищ и сложности с соблюдением технологии хранения. В этих условиях выходом из сложившегося положения является сушка овощей. Применение сушки позволяет сохранить все вкусовые качества и почти все витамины. В этих условиях в ФГБОУ ВО «Пензенский ГАУ» разработан опытный образец устройства для сушки сельскохозяйственных культур, позволяющего проводить сушку в кипящем слое. Однако, необходимо провести исследования для совершенствования процесса сушки овощей пневмомеханической сушилкой с обоснованием её конструктивных и технологических параметров. В работе использовались экспериментальные методы: моделирование, наблюдение, эксперимент. Экспериментальные исследования проводились в лабораторных условиях на основе общепринятых методик в соответствии с действующими отраслевыми стандартами, а также разработанных частных методик исследований. Обработка результатов исследований проводилась на ПЭВМ с использованием стандартных компьютерных программ Microsoft Excel, Statistica, КОМПАС-3D. В результате была получена модель процесса сушки и определены оптимальные параметры предлагаемого устройства. Farms and retailers are not always able to preserve the harvest due to the need to build vegetable stores and the difficulty in observing storage technology. Under these conditions, the way out of this situation is the drying of vegetables. The use of drying allows saving all the taste and almost all the vitamins. Under these conditions, Penza State Agrarian University has developed a prototype device for drying crops, allowing for fluidized-bed drying. However, it is necessary to conduct research to improve the drying process of vegetables with a pneumatic-mechanical dryer with justification for its design and technological parameters. The experimental methods were used in the work: modeling, observation, experiment. Experimental studies were carried out in laboratory conditions on the basis of generally accepted methods in accordance with current industry standards, as well as developed private research methods. Processing of the research results was carried out on a PC using standard computer programs Microsoft Excel, Statistica, KOMPAS-3D. As a result, a model of the drying process was obtained and the optimal parameters of the proposed device were determined.

Studies on the influence the fluidized bed apparatus geometrical characteristics on the technological parameters of the drying process. Algorithm and program of calculating tabular processor Microsoft Excel has been developed. Modeling results in the form of graphical dependencies, characterizing the influence of ratio of apparatus for technological process parameters are presented. Trend of energy consumption with reduced height of the separation space apparatus that taken into account in the development of new energy-efficient designs of dryers is installed.

At production of stainless steel expensive alloying elements, containing nickel, are used. To decrease the steel cost, substitution of nickel during steel alloying process by its oxides is an actual task. Results of analysis of thermodynamic and experimental studies of nickel reducing from its oxide presented, as well as methods of nickel oxide obtaining at manganese bearing complex raw materials enrichment and practice of its application during steel alloying. Technology of comprehensive processing of complex manganese-containing raw materials considered, including leaching and selective extraction out of the solution valuable components: manganese, nickel, iron, cobalt and copper. Based on theoretical and experiment studies, a possibility of substitution of metal nickel by concentrates, obtained as a result of hydrometallurgical enrichment, was confirmed. Optimal technological parameters, ensuring high degree of nickel recovery out of the initial raw materials were determined. It was established, that for direct steel alloying it is reasonable to add into the charge pellets, consisting of nickel concentrate and coke fines, that enables to reach the through nickel recovery at a level of 90%. The proposed method of alloying steel by nickel gives a possibility to decrease considerably steel cost at the expense of application of nickel concentrate, obtained out of tails of hydrometallurgical enrichment of manganese-bearing raw materials, which is much cheaper comparing with the metal nickel.


The article is devoted to the actual problem of assigning optimal parameters for connecting steel plates on cover plates with angular welds that are widely used in construction practice. The article presents the results of a comprehensive study of operation of a welded assembly of the plates connection on cover plates. An algorithm is proposed for determining the optimal parameters of a welded joint with fillet welds on the cover plates, which makes it possible to obtain a strength balanced connection. The results of full-scale tensile tests of models were presented. These results confirmed the correctness of the assumed design assumptions, and made it possible to obtain a form of destruction, not characteristic and not described in the normative literature, expressed by cutting the main elements along the length of the overlap in the joint. The possibility of such a form of destruction was confirmed by the results of numerical research in a nonlinear formulation. The optimal parameters of the nodal welded joint determined by engineering calculation are confirmed by experimental studies, as well as by the results of numerical experiments on models of calculation schemes, taking into account the physical nonlinearity of the material operation. The obtained dependence for determining the bearing capacity of the joint by the cut-off mechanism and the expression for limiting the overlap length of the cover plates will make it possible to predict the nature of the fracture and design equally strong joints.

In the article research results are presented, which aim to provide treated textile electrostatic properties study. In the article research results are presented, which aim to provide find out abilities of an anti-electrostatic treatment and binding agents for it in treatment of special textile materials and their dependance from modes of operating textile washing. Results of determine a composition and abilities of a functional impregnation; develop a method to study values of electrostatic field for tribocharging conditions of textile materialsare; experimental studies of electrostatic values of materials with functional treatment depending on operating washing modes also presented here. Study results allowed to establish efficiency of the proposed combination of anti-electrostatic active composition based on 5 % solution of dialkyldimethylammonium chloride with a binding agent with the effect to preserve the treatment in the material structure and content of which is 4 % in application of textile fabric with widely used fiber content (cotton 53 %, polyester + oil and water-proofing finish). Acrylic dispersion is stable film-forming component suitable in preserving anti-electrostatic treatment on the surface of a textile material. The research was made in Don State Technical University within the framework of State Assignment of the Ministry of education and science of Russia under the project 11.9194.2017/BCh.

The reasons of white spots appearance in the middle of oak timber are determined. These white spots reduce the cost of the lamina made of oak timbers - the front covering of floorboards. It is proposed to intensify the drying process by using oscillating drying schedules to avoid this defect. A method for calculating the duration of such drying is proposed. This method includes the peculiarities of heating and cooling periods kinetics of oak timbers with 25 mm and 30 mm thickness. The inexpediency of using the oscillation of the drying agent parameters in the range of wood moisture content below 20% has been established. An adequate model for calculating wood temperature and air humidity during wood heating and cooling periods has been developed using heat and mass transfer criteria and experimentally determined oak wood moisture conductivity coefficient. Based on the results of theoretical and experimental studies oscillating drying schedules of different thickness oak timbers are offered. Tests of the proposed schedules in industrial conditions showed no discoloration of the central layers of European oak (Quercus robur) timbers. The drying process duration was reduced by 1.5–2.4 times and energy consumption were reduced by 1.53 times.

Nitrogen oxides are considered to be much more toxic than, for example, carbon monoxide. For this reason, the Authors developed and implemented a method for decrease of NOX emission into the atmosphere from DKVR 10-13 boilers. As an effective method for boilers propose injection of steam into the combustion zone. After series of experimental studies an optimal design of the head for steam injection was developed, according to the proprietary technology. The injector head was kept unchanged while the spraying end caps were modified (Fig. 2). Three levels of possible impact of emissions from boiler on the atmosphere pollution were taken into account during studies. After the analysis, it was assumed that the level of the real maximum emission should be taken as the reference level in relation to which the decrease of NOX emission should be determined. The results obtained by the Authors calculated into mass emission and as objective values of nitrogen oxides concentration calculated into α = 1 (Figures 3 and 4). Realization of the study plan, assumed by the Authors, allowed to determine the optimal parameters of the NOx emission decrease method, assuming the expected 30% level of emission decrease at a limited consumption of injected.

The article presents the results of theoretical and experimental studies of the process of moving bulk material in the inactive zone between hinged screw sections of a flexible screw conveyor. The influence of the gap between the edges of adjacent screw sections and the magnitude of their circular displacement on the process of continuous transportation of bulk material is presented. The results of theoretical and experimental studies are compared. This will allow choosing the optimal design, kinematic and technological parameters of the developed sectional screw working body when transporting bulk agricultural materials along curved paths, both in horizontal and inclined directions, as well as along curved paths.

This paper presents the results of experimental studies of the physical and mechanical properties of wood-fiber boards of the wet production method when regulating the design and technological parameters of the grinding process. This allowed us to determine the influence of the working clearance between the grinding discs and the concentration of fibre mass with the subject to of quality change wood fiber after defibrator using the developed construction of the disc fibrillation action on the physico-mechanical properties of boards. As a result of the experiment, regression models were obtained that adequately describe the studied grinding process and allow predicting the values of physical and mechanical properties of the finished product depending on the established  parameters process. A comparative analysis of the size and quality characteristics of the fiber semi-finished product and its fractional composition when using a developed construction the disc of refiner fibrillation action and a traditional design used in industry is carried out. The preferential efficiency of the grinding process under the fibrillating effect the disc of refiner in comparison with the traditional construction disc of refiner is established. As a result, there is a significant improvement in the quality indicators of the fiber semi-finished product and its composition due to the formation and predominance in the total mass of long and thin, respectively, flexible fibrillated fibers with high tile-forming properties, which allows to increase the strength properties of the product (by 20–25%), without using binding resins.

Epilepsy is one of the leading neurological disorders and affects 1-2% of the world?s population. Generally, it is a result of an imbalance between excitatory and inhibitory phenomena in the central nervous system (CNS), but the mechanisms of its initiation and propagation still require further investigations. Experimental models represent one of the most powerful tools to better understand the mechanisms of epileptogenesis. Nitric oxide (NO) is gaseous molecule with pleiotropic physiological and pathological effects in almost all organ systems and intriguing biological relevance, especially in the CNS where it acts as a gaseous neurotransmitter. The role of NO in the generation of epilepsy is highly contradictory, since there is evidence of its anticonvulsive, as well as proconvulsive properties. Therefore, we will discuss in this review the involvement of NO-mediated signaling pathways in the mechanisms of epileptogenesis, taking into account the findings revealed in experimental studies on animal models of epilepsy.
