Morality is a trait firmly embedded in the soul which is seen in outward actions that are done easily without the need for more thought, and that have become a habit. Morality is prioritized in daily life, especially in teaching and learning processes, wherein students must have morals to the teacher, to knowledge, and to their peers. This study aims to elicit information about: how the teacher’s role in applying the morality of learning resting on Sheikh Az-Zarnuji’s perspective in his book Ta'lim Muta’allim. This is a library research. The results of study and analysis of Sheikh Az-Zarnuji’s book, Ta'lim Muta'allim, draw a conclusion that the teacher’s role is twofold: Sufistic and pragmatic roles. In the meantime, the morality of learning in Ta'lim Muta’allim book comprises five parts, namely: good intentions; choosing the teachers’ knowledge and study partner; respecting teachers’ knowledge; being sincere in learning perseverance and ideals; and the attitude of wara’ in learning.

This article will talk about administration of facilities and infrastructures, their process and the teachers’ role in making a contribution in this administration in order to make a successful teaching and learning process. The study about administration of facilities and infrastructures and how their process is very important to be explored about. The method used is the library research. Through this method, the researcher will explain more about the administration of facilities and infrastructures are and how their process, the definition, process, and what the teacher’s role is. The result found that the aims of administration of facilities and infrastructures are to support and help the teachers in teaching and learning process. Therefore, it is important to make sure all the facilities and infrastructures are well-organized and wisely used.

In the teaching and learning process, teachers are required to be able to carry out their role to the fullest as a motivator and initiator in an effort to maintain and at the same time increase the enthusiasm of students to learn. Especially in the Covid-19 pandemic situation which requires educational institutions to carry out online learning. This study aims to discuss the teacher's role as a motivator and the teacher's role as an initiator in improving the quality of student learning in online learning at Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'arif Condro Jember. This research uses qualitative research methods and the type of research is a case study. Data collection techniques using observation, interviews and documentation. The validity of the data using source triangulation and technical triangulation. Meanwhile, data analysis uses data condensation, data presentation and verification/conclusion. The results of this study indicate: 1) The teacher's role as a motivator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: providing opportunities for students to play an active role in learning, providing reinforcement, praise or verbal appreciation, teachers listening to students' concerns and wishes to bond. good relationship between teachers and students. 2) The role of the teacher as an initiator in improving the quality of learning in online learning, namely: utilizing information and communication technology such as Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet and Google Form. Keywords: Teacher Role; Quality of Learning; Online Learning Dalam proses belajar mengajar, guru dituntut untuk mampu melaksanakan perannya secara maksimal menjadi motivator dan inisiator dalam upaya menjaga dan sekaligus meningkatkan semangat belajar peserta didik. Terlebih dalam situasi pandemi Covid-19 yang menuntut lembaga pendidikan untuk melaksanakan pembelajaran secara Daring. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membahas tentang peran guru sebagai motivator dan peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatan kualitas belajar peserta didik pada pembelajaran daring di Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma’arif Condro Jember. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian kualitatif dan jenis penelitiannya adalah studi kasus. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan observasi, wawancara dan dokumentasi. Keabsahan data menggunakan triangulasi sumber dan triangulasi teknik. Sedangkan analisis data menggunakan kondensasi data, penyajian data dan verifikasi/kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan: 1) Peran guru sebagai motivator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memberikan kesempatan kepada peserta didik untuk berperan aktif dalam pembelajaran, memberikan penguatan, pujian atau apresiasi secara verbal, guru mendengarkan keresahan dan keinginan peserta didik agar terjalin ikatan yang baik antara guru dan peserta didik. 2) Peran guru sebagai inisiator dalam meningkatkan kualitas belajar pada pembelajaran daring yaitu: memanfaatkan teknologi informasi dan komunikasi seperti Whatsapp, Facebook, Google Meet dan Google Form. This study aims to find out how the influence of learning motivation on student achievement in school. This research is focused on the teacher's role in fostering student learning motivation. This motivation is very important for improving student learning achievement. Because as is well known, student motivation in learning is lacking. This will affect its success in learning. For this reason, there is a need for efforts by teachers to increase interest in learning and motivate students to be more enthusiastic about achieving in school. The approach taken in this journal research is the approach (library research) which uses literature as its object. From the research of several literatures, the results of this study indicate that learning motivation has an influence on student learning activities, especially on student achievement. The higher the student's motivation, the better the learning achievement. Vice versa, the lower the motivation of student learning, it will be difficult for these students to achieve achievement in learning. The teacher also has a very important role and has an influence on student motivation in school.

This study discusses the role of the teacher in increasing student motivation in learning Indonesian. The teacher is a very important figure in the teaching and learning process as a mediator, facilitator, and leader in the class. Teachers and students must be able to communicate well as the principle of communication between teacher and students so that learning goes well. The focus of this research is how the teacher's role in increasing student motivation towards learning Indonesian in Muhammadiyah Plus Salatiga Elementary School. This study uses a questionnaire or questionnaire technique with a population of 53 teachers and 30 subjects or half of the subjects.

Abstract: In this paper we examine the relationships established in the teaching and learning process. The main goals are to analyse the teacher’s role and the requirements that he or she should meet (teacher training, methodological knowledge, etc.), and also to study the student’s role and the problems related to this one caused by the current education system: overcrowding and absenteeism. These problems will disappear, in all likelihood, in the near future with the European guidelines on our education system.Resumen: En este trabajo se examinan las relaciones que se establecen en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje. Los objetivos que se persiguen son analizar el papel que desempeña el profesor y los requisitos que debe cumplir (práctica docente, conocimiento metodológico, etc.). También el papel que desempeña el estudiante y los problemas que se relacionan con él causados por el sistema actual de educación: masificación y absentismo. Problemas que probablemente desaparecerán con la Convergencia Europea.
