Background Secondary schools are an ideal setting to identify young people experiencing mental health difficulties such as anxiety or depression. However, current methods of identification rely on cumbersome paper-based assessments, which are lengthy and time-consuming to complete and resource-intensive for schools to manage. Artemis-A is a prototype web app that uses computerized adaptive testing technology to shorten the length of the assessment and provides schools with a simple and feasible solution for mental health assessment. Objective The objectives of this study are to coproduce the main components of the Artemis-A app with stakeholders to enhance the user interface, to carry out usability testing and finalize the interface design and functionality, and to explore the acceptability and feasibility of using Artemis-A in schools. Methods This study involved 2 iterative design feedback cycles—an initial stakeholder consultation to inform the app design and user testing. Using a user-centered design approach, qualitative data were collected through focus groups and interviews with secondary school pupils, parents, school staff, and mental health professionals (N=48). All transcripts were thematically analyzed. Results Initial stakeholder consultations provided feedback on preferences for the user interface design, school administration of the assessment, and outcome reporting. The findings informed the second iteration of the app design and development. The unmoderated usability assessment indicated that young people found the app easy to use and visually appealing. However, school staff suggested that additional features should be added to the school administration panel, which would provide them with more flexibility for data visualization. The analysis identified four themes relating to the implementation of the Artemis-A in schools, including the anticipated benefits and drawbacks of the app. Actionable suggestions for designing mental health assessment apps are also provided. Conclusions Artemis-A is a potentially useful tool for secondary schools to assess the mental health of their pupils that requires minimal staff input and training. Future research will evaluate the feasibility and effectiveness of Artemis-A in a range of UK secondary schools.

This study describes the form of actualization of Astha Brata's values on the leadership management of the principal at a suburban school in Central Aceh. Data collection techniques come from written sources such as books, as well as scientific articles, as well as photos from documentation of school activities. School administration is most commonly oriented to daily school activities or routines for the purpose of school maintenance, while management and leadership are linked to changes occurring in school. Ambiguities with respect to selecting a model of management and leadership arise because a significant part of the educational management theory derives from the business sector and has not been entirely adapted to education. Such context recognizes the importance of school documentation which follows a large and complex bureaucratic system. Even though there is generally a negative attitude towards documentation, it should not only revolve around the process of collecting evidence and artifacts but be used to correct and innovate work at both institutional and individual level. It can also be a valuable source for scientific research. By treating documentation in this way, we can give it a role of a reflexive practitioner and a critical friend that provides important information to those who want to listen, which makes it visible listening and pedagogy of listening.

This paper is an effort in reviewing and assembling the research findings of different researchers on the factors that cause conflicts in schools and the strategies adopted by schools for conflict resolution. The research is limited to certain databases only. The basis for selecting relevant literature for this study is their accessibility, language (English) and relevancy to the topic and only those research papers that highlight teacher-teacher conflicts and teacher-administration conflicts have been selected. The several factors that emerged from the study were classified as Structural and Personal factors only. The originality of this paper rests in an attempt to attract the attention of the research community towards the factors that lead to conflicts in schools and an insight into the strategies used by the school administration to resolve them. This study also recommends that school administrators be trained to identify at least some factors responsible for conflicts among their staff, even among the students of the school so that they can resolve it in a better way.

The purpose of the article is to substantiate the creation of the project of the digital educational platform “My format” on the territory of the Orenburg region. Currently, there is no such digital platform in the region, which leads to gaps in the interaction of participants in the educational process. The main idea of the project is to describe a digital platform created for students of schools, teachers, administration of educational institutions, parents of students, universities, colleges and NGOs in the Orenburg region. A digital educational platform should create an information space that will unite participants in the learning process. Each of the interested parties, thanks to the platform, can satisfy their needs. For example, students will have the opportunity of remote education, teachers will have access to methodological materials and information, school administration (representatives of employers, universities, etc.) the ability to carry out testing to control the level of knowledge of students. The authors of the article, in order to implement the proposed idea, created a model of the functioning of the “My Format” platform, identified the advantages and opportunities from its use by interested parties. During the work, possible risks (barriers) were identified, a roadmap (milestones) was prepared, and the main indicators for evaluating the effectiveness of the project were identified. At the end of the article, the relevant conclusions are made, summarizing the results of the study.
