LITERATURE REVIEW: KUALITAS TIDUR DAN KEJADIAN OBESITAS PADA ANAK USIA SEKOLAH

Latar belakang: Kejadian obesitas semakin meningkat dari tahun ke tahun. Kualitas tidur salah satu penyebab kejadian obesitas. Waktu tidur anak-anak di Indonesia saat ini rata-rata 6-7 jam dari kebutuhan jam tidurnya. Tujuan: penelitian melihat apakah kualitas tidur mempengaruhi obesitas anak. Metode: studi literature tahun 2015 sampai 2019 dan berbahasa inggris. Data didapat dari database meliputi ScienceDirect, ProQuest dan Wiley Online dengan kata kunci obesity, overweight, fat, child, child school, sleep, sleep quality. Hasil: Studi literatur ini didapatkan 15 artikel yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Dari tinjauan artikel di ketahui ada karakteristik anak obesitas, penyebab obesitas, pola tidur dan hubungan tidur dengan obesitas. Kesimpulan: Aspek tidur yang mempengaruhi kejadian obesitas adalah durasi tidur anak, waktu tidur anak, kualitas tidur serta gangguan tidur saat tidur. Kata kunci : Kualitas Tidur, Obesitas, Anak Usia Sekolah

Pemanfaatan pengobatan herbal (herbal medicine) telah banyak dipraktikkan secara luas dalam berbagai pengobatan mulai dari gejala sampai dengan penyakit kronis. meta-analisis yang dilakukan pada tahun 2015 terhadap chinese herbal medicine untuk gangguan tidur melaporkan tidak menemukan perbedaan yang signifikan dengan plasebo yang digunakan, namun update studi dengan desain RCT menunjukkan efektivitas. sehingga peneliti melakukan update review mengenai efektivitas pengobatan herbal untuk gangguan tidur. Desain penelitian ini adalah literature review dengan pendekatan deskriptif kualitatif. metode analisis menggunakan pendekatan tematik analisis. pencarian artikel menggunakan kata kunci: (((herbal medicine) OR (chinese medical herbal) AND (y_10[Filter])) AND ((sleep disorder) OR (insomnia) AND (y_10[Filter]))) AND (sleep quality AND (y_10[Filter])) dengan kriteria inklusi tahun terbit 2010-2020 menggunakan desain penelitian randomized controlled trial berbahasa Inggris dan Indonesia. Update literatur terkait pengobatan herbal untuk gangguan tidur menunjukkan berbagai pengobatan herbal efektif untuk gangguan tidur karena memiliki kandungan sedatif-hipnotik sehingga meningkatkan rasa tenang. frekuensi pengobatan mulai dari 20 minggu sampai dengan 28 hari. Update pengobatan herbal terbukti efektif untuk mengatasi gangguan tidur. Studi ini masih terbatas pada pengguna satu database sehingga memiliki bias yang tinggi dalam pengambilan simpulan.

Abstract: An Elderly is someone who has reached the age of 60 years or more. The number of elderly in Indonesia in 2020 has reached 28.7 million. This number continues to increase every year. The elderly will naturally experience changes both physically and mentally which can reduce their quality of life. The quality of sleep and cognitive function in the elderly also changes due to aging factors. The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly. This research is a literature review. This study studied topics related to the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality and cognitive function in the elderly from previous studies. The literature reviewed consists of 15 literature with 8 literature discussing the effect of yoga exercises on sleep quality in the elderly and 7 other literature discussed the effect of yoga exercise on cognitive function in the elderly. The results of this study indicate that yoga exercises that are carried out regularly both in the long and short term can improve the quality of sleep in the elderly and maintain cognitive function in the elderly. It can also prevent dementia and Alzheimer's disease in the elderly.Keywords: yoga exercise, sleep quality, cognitive function, elderly  Abstrak: Lansia merupakan seseorang yang sudah mencapai usia 60 tahun atau lebih. Jumlah lansia di Indonesia pada tahun 2020 mencapai 28,7 juta jiwa. Angka ini terus meningkat tiap tahunnya. Lansia secara alamiah akan mengalami perubahan baik secara fisik dan mental yang dapat menurunkan kualitas hidupnya. Kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia juga mengalami perubahan akibat faktor penuaan. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian yang sifatnya literature review. Penelitian ini mempelajari topik-topik terkait pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur dan fungsi kognitif pada lansia dari penelitian-penelitiam sebelumnya. Literatur yang diulas dan dipelajari sebanyak 15 literatur dengan 8 literatur membahas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap kualitas tidur pada lansia dan 7 literatur lainnya mengulas pengaruh senam yoga terhadap fungsi kognitif pada lansia. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa senam yoga yang dilakukan secara rutin baik dalam jangka panjang maupun pendek dapat memperbaiki dan meningkatkan kualitas tidur lansia. Senam yoga juga dapat mempertahankan fungsi kognitif lansia dan mencegah lansia dari penyakit demensia dan alzheimer.Kata kunci : senam yoga, kualitas tidur, fungsi kognitif, lansia

WHO states that Indonesia's population is the fourth largest population after China, India, and the United States. According to the 2013 World Health Statistics data, the population of China is 1.35 billion, India is 1.24 billion, the United States 313 million, and Indonesia is in fourth place with 242 million WHO population predicts that by 2020 the estimated number of Indonesia's elderly will be around 80,000,000. Cases of insomnia in the elderly are higher than in other age groups, which is 12–39%. One therapy that can overcome sleep disorders in the elderly is foot reflexology massage therapy. This literature review aims to determine the effect of foot reflexology massage in the elderly who experience sleep disorders. The design in this scientific paper is a literature review search using an electronic data base that is google scholar and pubmed. The keywords used in the search are elderly, foot reflexology, sleep of quality. The inclusion criteria used in the article are full text accessible in English and Indonesian, the year of the journal used is limited to the last ten years. The results found 1 article from Google Scholar and 2 articles from PubMed discussing the effectiveness of foot reflexology massage on improving sleep quality in the elderly. Literature review results from the three articles show that foot reflexology is effective in improving sleep quality in the elderly.

Introduction: Post-partum mothers experience an inadequate sleep quality, either because of new roles or changes during postpartum. The use of drugs in the postpartum period requires consideration because it is risky for both mother and baby, so non-pharmacological interventions are safer alternative choices. During the postpartum period, the mother also carries out her own care so that non-pharmacological interventions are needed because they can be doing by self. This literature review aims to know the types of non-pharmacological interventions to improve the sleep quality of postpartum mothers. Methods: This literature review search uses the database of Science Direct, PubMed, Google Scholar, EBSCO using the keywords "sleep quality, postpartum, intervention, nonpharmacology". The review involves 12 articles meeting the inclusion criteria. Results: The results of review founded some interventions including back massage, foot reflexology, auricular acupressure, pilates exercise, gymnastic aerobic, chamomile tea, lavender tea, orange peel essential oil, lavender aromatherapy, lavender cream, are significant nonpharmacological interventions to improving sleep quality in postpartum. Conclusion: The most improvement in sleep quality with foot reflexology so this intervention can be an option in nursing interventions in postpartum mother who experience sleep disorder.

Background: Diabetes mellitus is an incurable disease but can be controlled by controlling blood sugar levels and improving sleep quality and quality of life in people with diabetes. The prevalence of diabetes mellitus in Banten province has increased in 2013 by 1.3%, while in 2018 it was 2.2%. Purpose: The purpose of this literature review is to determine the effectiveness of aromatherapy in patients with diabetes mellitus. Research Methods: The method used to analyze data is Systematic Literature Review. Search for articles using google scholar database, PubMed, Research Gate, and Elsevier and get eight relevant articles and analyzed using the simplified thematic approach. The article selection process is done using a PRISMA flow diagram. Results: lavender aromatherapy, bitter orange and sandalwood / sandalwood significantly affect changes in sleep quality, quality of life, anxiety and fatigue in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus with a combination of massage therapy and foot exercises. Thus, it can be concluded that aromatherapy is effective on sleep quality, quality of life, anxiety and fatigue in patients with type 1 and 2 diabetes mellitus. Suggestion: Therefore, the use of aromatherapy can be recommended as a non-pharmacological intervention that can affect sleep quality in patients with type 2.   Keywords: Aromatherapy, Sleep Quality, Quality Of Life, Fatigue, Anxiety, Diabetes Mellitus Literature: 2015 – 2020

This paper analyzed sleep quality and academic performance of Upper Basic Education (UBE) students in Social Studies. One research question and statement of hypothesis were formulated to guide the study. The literature review was done dependent on the variable under examination. The survey research design was used in the study. The outcome of the research uncovered that there is an impact of sleep quality on the academic performance of students in social studies.

Abstract: Acne vulgaris is a chronic pilosebaceous follicle inflammation andi its highest prevalence is on 16-17-year-olds. Factors influencing or triggering acne vulgaris are sebum, genetics, hormones, diet, stress, and cosmetics. Inadequate and unqualified sleep may disrupt physiological and psychological balances, and is estimated to increase androgen hormone activities. This study was aimed to obtain the effect of sleep quality on acne vulgaris incidence. This was a literature review using three databases, as follows: PubMed, ClinicalKey, and Google Scholar. Keywords used were “Kualitas Tidur” DAN “Akne Vulgaris” (Indonesian), and “Sleep quality” AND “Acne Vulgaris” (English). The results obtained 10 literature matching the inclusion and exclusion criteria. The number of samples suffered from acne vulgaris with poor sleep quality was higher than of samples with good sleep quality. There were more male samples than female samples in all literatures in the study. In conclusion, poor sleep quality could trigger and contribute in the development of acne vulgaris.Keywords: sleep quality, acne vulgaris, severity degree  Abstrak: Akne vulgaris merupakan peradangan kronis folikel polisebasea dengan prevalensi tertinggi pada usia 16-17 tahun. Faktor yang memengaruhi atau mencetuskan akne vulgaris yaitu sebum, genetik, hormon, diet, stres, dan kosmetik. Tidur yang tidak adekuat dan berkualitas dapat mengakibatkan gangguan keseimbangan fisiologis, dan psikologis, serta diperkirakan dapat menyebabkan aktivitas hormon androgen meningkat. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh kualitas tidur terhadap kejadian akne vulgaris. Jenis penelitian ialah literature review dengan pencarian data menggunakan tiga database yaitu PubMed, ClinicalKey dan Google Scholar. Kata kunci yang digunakan yaitu “Kualitas Tidur” DAN “Akne Vulgaris” (Bahasa Indonesia), serta “Sleep quality” AND “Acne Vulgaris” (Bahasa Inggris). Hasil penelitian mendapatkan 10 literatur yang sesuai dengan kriteria inklusi dan ekslusi. Sampel yang memiliki kualitas tidur buruk dan menderita akne vulgaris lebih banyak daripada sampel yang memiliki kualitas tidur baik dan menderita akne vulgaris. Derajat keparahan akne vulgaris paling banyak derajat sedang. Total sampel laki-laki lebih banyak dibandingkan dengan perempuan pada semua literatur yang digunakan dalam penelitian. Simpulan penelitian ini ialah kualitas tidur yang buruk dapat mengakibatkan timbulnya akne vulgaris dan juga menjadi salah satu faktor yang berkontribusi dalam perkembangan akne vulgaris.Kata kunci: kualitas tidur, akne vulgaris, tingkat keparahan

Poor sleep quality can worsen hypertension, type 2 diabetes and obesity, thereby increasing the incidence of cardiovascular disease, as well as accelerating the progression of end-stage kidney disease and reducing survival rates. In hemodialysis patients, many factors affect the patient’s quality of life start from a psychological, physiological, social, and economic perspective can decreased the patient’s quality of life. To know about the relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in hemodialysis patients, this study uses a literature review method, based on the results of an article published within the last 10 years. From 5 journals that met the criteria, it was found that there was relationship between sleep quality and quality of life. There is a significant relationship between sleep quality and quality of life in hemodialysis patients.   Keywords: Hemodialysis, Sleep quality, Quality of life.
