In Romania, large companies, most of which are multinationals, have made significant progress in integrating the concept of corporate social responsibility (CSR) into their activity. The concept of CSR in small and medium-sized companies is still in the early stages of reporting, but with great development prospects. Romanian companies have gradually begun to develop their own culture in terms of social responsibility. The main objective of this article is to analyze how Romanian authors approach CSR theories in their research. The CSR action is seen by the authors as an interdependent relationship between corporations and society. Social requirements are generally considered to be a way in which society interacts with the business environment and gives it a certain legitimacy and prestige. Given that the history of the concept of CSR is long and diverse, I must emphasize that this article focuses on the publications of Romanian authors who based their work on a theory of CSR, providing an original perspective and understanding of the concept of CSR. The research methodology approached involves analysis and synthesis appeal. The study shows that integrative theories are the most common, based on the papers of Romanian authors regarding the concept of CSR. Most articles are based on the idea that the business depends on society to continue its activity and to develop, there is an interdependent relationship between the company and society.

Corporate social responsibility implies business with concern for ethics, human rights, community needs, and investment in environmental protection. It is especially evident in crisis situations when the expectations of the environment about the application of these principles of the company are higher. The Covid-19 pandemic, as a crisis situation in which companies found themselves, led to changes in business models that had an impact on their stakeholders as well. In this segment, corporate social responsibility can be a useful and effective way to mitigate the potential effects of a pandemic and make it easier to deal with the consequences of a crisis. The aim of this paper is to provide a theoretical framework for the study of corporate social responsibility in crisis situations with special reference to the situation related to Covid-19. For this purpose, the research methodology includes a review of the literature on corporate social responsibility in this situation by classification into external (community, customer, and environment) and internal (employees) dimensions of the application of corporate social responsibility. The paper highlights the problems and challenges associated with corporate social responsibility in the Covid-19 pandemic and suggests further research opportunities in this area.

Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is becoming an increasingly popular area of activity of companies which are interested in not only the managers or owners, but also customers, suppliers, NGOs, administrative and other stakeholders groups. The analysis aim is to present CSR initiatives as part of deliberate strategy of the company, which is one of the key sources of competitive advantage in the market. The findings concern the scope of cooperation between companies and NGOs in the field of socially responsible activities. The analysis indicates that the expected form of cooperation of NGOs with small businesses is to provide financial assistance to social organizations. However, in the case of medium-sized enterprises, these expectations also apply to material support. Moreover, in the case of medium-sized enterprises a key determinant of cooperation with social organization is realization of the social objective, while small businesses are more guided by "goodness of the heart". Considerations based on the identification of scope of CSR, are pointing to the key aspects of this activity to the company, the environment and customers. Discussions were extended to the characteristics of the benefits, barriers and forms of the cooperation, as well as, there were presented the results of research in the field of forms and determinants of such cooperation. Considerations are based on secondary sources, from national and international journals, books, magazines and specialist reports. Key words: corporate social responsibility, cooperation, non-government organization, management.

State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) have a very important role in the implementation of the national economy in order to realize the welfare of the people. SOEs are seen as having a strategic role in fostering and developing private and cooperative businesses. The government through its regulations has mandated SOEs to participate in assisting the government in implementing the development policies that have been outlined, this is as mandated in Article 88 of Law no. 19 Year 2003 on SOEs, which in the article instructs SOEs to set aside a parcel of their net benefit for the reason of cultivating little businesses and cooperatives as well as cultivating the community around the company. The existence of the provisions of Article 88 means that SOEs are not only looking for profit, but also must play an active role in developing and fostering small businesses and cooperatives, so SOEs will have the responsibility Corporate social responsibility that can be sued is the same as other private companies in Indonesia.

Research background: The responsibility of organizations towards their surroundings and society is a long-term strategic goal, which is supported by various projects and concepts, at the national, and global levels. The conception of sustainable development represents a model of society development, where economic and social development should be in line with the preservation of natural values for present and future generations. Purpose of the article: The concept of Corporate social responsibility (CSR) is a voluntary commitment of an organization that wants to behave responsibly towards its surroundings. The concept is generally understood as a strategic initiative and it is applied mainly by large companies. Small and medium-sized companies are rather not interested in the concept, they are afraid of the burden for the company. The paper focuses on the potential of systematic use of the CSR concept by small organizations. Methods: The survey was conducted in selected small organizations. The degree of acquaintance with the principles of the concept and especially with the possibilities of the concept was determined, the current state was analyzed and activities for implementation were proposed, and indicators for long-term monitoring were proposed. Findings & Value added: CSR concept encourages the company to make a positive impact on the environment. Small organizations often apply some of its principles, unknowingly by their natural responsible behavior. However, a systems-conscious approach is important. Small businesses can use the potential of the concept and implement its principles for the benefit of themselves and their surroundings.

Business and human rights have not traditionally been addressed or theorized in close connection to each other. Rather, human rights have been seen as the exclusive domain of the state, that is, as a legal or political concept with little relevance or implication for companies. This view has changed dramatically in recent decades. There is now a broad interdisciplinary and dynamic discussion on the potential human rights responsibilities of business. While a systematic debate on the issue can be traced back at least to the mid-1990s, contributions to this debate have increased substantially in the wake of John Ruggie’s appointment as the United Nations Special Representative on Business and Human rights in 2005. This article structures this evolving debate and guides readers to the most relevant sources in the field. The debate has attracted contributions from a wide variety of disciplines and perspectives. This review is limited to contributions published in the broader management and business ethics literature and a selection of key contributions from the legal literature on the topic. Furthermore, with just a few exceptions, it includes only contributions that explicitly refer to human rights in the context of business. Articles that relate to or inform the debate on business and human rights, such as discussions on corporate social responsibility or on human rights in general, but lack the specific connection of both fields were not included.
