The article deals with the use of modern information and communication technologies in the teaching of Russian language to students of veterinary specialties at the university. Modern information and communication technologies allow you to develop unique didactic conditions and create regulation, in individual educational orbits.

This article discusses the problems of ever-increasing demands on the organization and quality of the educational process on the part of society. Today there are new opportunities for the comprehensive development of students of the XXI century, new, more effective information and communication technologies (ICT), in particular cloud- oriented learning environments (COLE), are developing rapidly. The problems of the development of theoretical and methodological foundations for designing a cloud-oriented educational environment of the university and the justification of the structural scheme of its interaction with the methodological center of the ministry based on the use of cloud technologies are analyzed. It is necessary to introduce such models of the learning environment, which will allow to fully satisfy the demands of teaching staff on the organization and conduct of classes of a new type, the activation of educational activities of students, the formation of digital competence and the comprehensive development of personality. Such opportunities are provided by the use of a cloud-based educational environment of the university.

Today, the relevance of use of modern information and communication technologies (wiki-technology, blogs, podcasts, linguistic corpus), which have didactic features and methodic functions, in teaching a foreign language and translation is not in doubt. The translation of economic discourse from Chinese into Russian is in demand in the context of the expanding interaction of the two countries in the trade and economic sphere. In this connection, the need for training highly qualified specialists in translating economic discourse is growing. We present suggestions on teaching students how to translate economic discourse from Chinese into Russian language on example of using blog technology. When translating and teaching, it is necessary to take into account the difference in the organization of the structures of the Russian and Chinese languages. The listed types of modern information and communication technologies can meet the requirements for teaching translation from Chinese, which is structured as an isolating type. The focus is on the translation competencies development (linguistic, text-forming, communicative, technological competence, as well as special competencies, including economic component), based on the developed system of exercises. An algorithm is presented for organizing teaching translation of economic discourse from Chinese into Russian through blog technology, highlighting three main stages (preparatory, practical, and final) and a detailed description of the actions involved.

The authors outline that the main trend in modern education, both in Russia and in the world as a whole, is the digitalization and informatization of the educational process. This leads to disagreements in understanding the potential of this phenomenon, as the main factor, affecting the comprehensive and systematic development and self-development of a modern student’s personality. In turn, this is due to the diverse interpretations of the terms, included in this area of the knowledge, by other sciences without taking into account the specifics of the educational process, which prompted the authors to undertake the study. The purpose of the article is to review the basic concepts, related to the informatization of modern education in Russia, as well as to describe the trends in the use of information and communication technologies in the educational process, their role in the formation of the information and educational environment of an educational institution. Methods. The main research method is the analysis of literary sources and regulations, related to the field of information technologies application in education, on the basis of which the authors consider and generalize different concepts. Results. Based on the results of the study, conclusions are drawn about the importance of information and communication technologies and the information and educational environment as the main factors in the modernization of the educational process. However, the importance of combining the traditional teaching methods with methods, based on the use of innovative technologies without a fundamental change in the educational paradigm was emphasized.

The article deals with the use of information and communication technologies (ICT) in the educational process of the Pedagogical Universities, in particular, in teaching physics and mathematics including distance learning. The questions that the students ask are studied. The purpose and tasks of the study of this issue, conducted by the authors, and its scientific novelty are formulated. Based on the analysis of modern scientific sources, and on personal experience of the authors, the positive and negative aspects of the use of ICT in the training of future teachers are analyzed. The authors have put forward proposals on improving the effectiveness of the use of ICT in the educational process of the pedagogical university, and they also indicate how the teacher can contribute to this process. The article lists the actions in which the active position of the teacher is very important. It describes the results and prospects of further research and work in this direction, in particular, the active participation in the formation and optimization of the electronic educational environment of the University.

With modern realities in the development of new media and the information and communication technologies (ICT), the skills of checking information for the reliability of sources – fact-checking (or fact-check) is extremely important. The article briefly considers the term fact-checking and gives the definitions and also related concepts. The author’s understanding of approaches to and tools of the fact-checking in the context of the concept “Source Studies 2.0” is offered. English dictionary definitions are analyzed and translated into Russian, an overview of the Russian-language interpretations is given, as well as links to key publications on the topic.
