This contribution presents the restoration and virtual reconstruction of a painted tomb from the Lucan period (4th century BC), now dismounted and kept in the deposits of the National Archaeological Museum of Paestum. The virtual reconstruction that was carried out is based on several elements: identification of traces of the original color on the surfaces; pigment analysis; study of the execution technique; iconographic comparison with other painted pieces of the same corpus and reconstruction by levels (colored backgrounds, decorative elements; figurative elements). The video, which illustrates both the restoration intervention of the tomb and the virtual reconstruction, was presented at the RECH5 conference and it can be seen at: https://www.facebook.com/officinabeniculturali.info/videos/200967307895086. It shows the different phases of the restoration work, such as cleaning and consolidation, and the subsequent reintegration of the virtual models, presenting how the intervention was carried out in a way that respects the authenticity of the work.

The article aims at characterizing the joint project of archivists and historians, the Main Archive of Moscow Oblast and Moscow State University. The project virtually reconstructs historical manors using 3D modeling technologies on the basis of archival materials. The paper briefly examines the evolution of dvoryanstvo manors in the 18th - early 19th centuries, their role in the formation of rural society and their culture as well as the manors’ state at present when most of the remaining manors are in ruins. The article formulates three principles that should be observed when choosing objects for their virtual reconstruction. The author shows the optimal set of sources for solving the problems of such projects. These are, first of all, graphic and text sets of design and restoration documentation which was created for restoration work in the second half of the twentieth century including dimensional drawings, opinion of engineers on the state of structures, draft restoration projects, working drawings for strengthening structures, etc.) as well as albums of photographs characterizing the current state of the object. The final part of the article describes the project work of students to virtually reconstruct five historical manors of Moscow Oblast which are objects of cultural heritage of federal or regional significance.

AbstractThis paper is an analysis study on Dangdanggula Degung Song viewed with Antagonistic Dualism theory by Jakob Sumardjo. The song, textually, has a strong and dynamic character. To verify public views (especially the community of Tembang Sunda Cianjuran) that Dangdanggula Degung Song has a strong and dynamic character, the song has been tried to be analyzed from the point of ornament position and the contour of the melody. The result of this musical analysis study is then interpreted referring to the theory of Antagonistic Dualism by Jakob Sumardjo. Based on this interpretation, a paradoxical phenomenon was found as an illustration of Tritangtu pattern of Sundanese people. This is the subject matter to be discussed in this paper. Keywords: ornament, Dangdanggula Degung song, Tembang Sunda Cianjuran AbstrakTulisan ini merupakan kajian analisis terhadap lagu Dangdanggula Degung ditinjau berdasarkan teori Dualisme Antagonistik Jakob Sumardjo.

Putting out of using large areas of agricultural lands in the central region over the past years has led to worsening the prospects of their purposed use, although the problem of the relevance of their restoration still remains. For many years the unused land was exposed to both natural exogenous processes such as erosion, suffusion, etc. and biological and chemical changes, usually for the worse for agriculture. There are considered elements of monitoring aimed at assessing the prospects or lack of perspectives of rehabilitation of degraded lands. An energy approach to assessing the state of slopes and soils located within these slopes is presented. The main factors of natural and anthropogenic character in assessing the prospects for land restoration are their steepness, excess relative to local bases of erosion other morphological characteristics of slopes which in general is reduced to an assessment of the energy provision of slopes and soils. So the higher the energy capacity of slopes – they are less promising for development, for soils – there is a reverse picture – the higher their energy reserves, the more promising is their use. Approaches to zoning the territory for monitoring from larger taxons of natural and anthropogenic genesis to the sites of special surveillance within which the prospects for rehabilitation of the agricultural land are evaluated. The most important factor is the material expediency of such actions, i.e. before starting the restoration work it is necessary to assess the profitability or loss of the proposed event. In cases of the material expediency it is feasible as further actions to include energy assessments of slopes and soils; zoning of the object according to the steepness and oriented characteristics of soil washout; and the possibility of obtaining agronomic and meteorological data on a timely basis. The result of the work is a forecast assessment of the prospects for restoring degraded land for the intended purpose using modern databases and WEB-systems.
