Introduction. Implementation of renewable energy resources on manufacturing enterprises is a big challenge in Ukraine. The Energy Strategy of Ukraine has an ambitious goal to reach 25% of renewable energy in national energy balance. Manufacturing enterprises play important role in realization of this strategy as far as they are the biggest consumers of energy. Obviously they need corresponding tools to implement renewable energy in the production activity. Energy controlling is a theoretical concept and practical instrument for management control in energy sector. Balanced scorecards (BSC) are controlling’s tool and can be used not only for analytical activities, but also for implementation of renewable energy strategy on manufacturing enterprise. The purpose of the paper is formation of balanced scorecard for implementation of renewable energy strategy on manufacturing enterprise. The methodology of research covers theoretical basis of energy efficient production and D. Norton & R. Kaplan’s approach to development of BSC; survey of top managers in energy sectors of industrial enterprises. Results. Energy controlling is a new direction in development of controlling concept that is often called “management control” in the English speaking research area. The paper analyzed its theoretical basis and practical experience with the focus on renewable energy. The BSC is a successful tool for effective implementation of different strategies on enterprise as well as it is often used for analytical work. The paper proposes to use BSC’s for implementation of renewable energy strategy developed both the scheme of strategic initiatives and the template of BSC to achieve the goal of improving the renewable energy efficiency in the production activities of industrial enterprises. Conclusion. Energy controlling has the potential to contribute to improving the economic efficiency of renewable energy systems. Besides, it can make them transparent, profitable and manageable. The corresponding BCS can be developed for every company that is interested in implementation of renewable energy in production activity. The BSC sets strategic goals for promoting and enhancing the efficiency of the renewable energy system and controls the progress along the roadmap towards the strategic goals.

Introduction. Ukrainian manufacturing enterprises face a variety of challenges related to energy efficient production. There are different ways to reach the energy efficiency, e. g. improve energy savings, reduce energy intensity, strengthen energy security, and so on. The KPI-models allow industrial enterprises, firstly, to choose quantitative benchmarks for enhancement their activities in the energy sector, and secondly, to get progress in reaching selected objectives. Purpose. The study aims to develop methodological approach to the formation of strategic KPI-models that can be used for development of different scenarios in energy sector of industrial enterprise. Methodology. The methodological basis of the study encompasses the theory of controlling concept, approaches to the development and implementation of KPIs, interdisciplinary and systematic approaches of the energy efficient production study. Results. The article examines the new direction of the controlling concept (also called management control in the English speaking area) named energy controlling. It aims to increase the efficiency, transparency and validity of management decisions in the energy sector. The author has analyzed different methodological approaches to choose the energy KRIs and she has proposed the methodological basis for development of strategic KRI-models for the energy sector of an industrial enterprise. There are also some examples of strategic KPI-models for different scenarios.

Manufacturing enterprises are currently facing many challenges of industrial revolution 4.0 when beginning to change the production model, working with embedded systems which can collect and transmit specific data. The application of maturity models to the Industry 4.0 may help organizations to address the challenges regarding the concept of Industry 4.0 and the diversification methodology. This research is going to examine the application of a maturity model for assessing Industry 4.0 created by Schumacher et al. (2016). The Maturity model of Schumacher et al. (2016) was built to assess the maturity and to infiltrate of the enterprises manufacturing into the Industry 4.0. The purpose of this paper is examining the applicable of using the Maturity model in evaluating the maturity of industrial enterprises in Vietnam toward industry 4.0. The issues will be addressed in this paper: i) The nature of Industry 4.0 and challenges for the manufacturing enterprises; ii) The Maturity model for manufacturing enterprises towards Industry 4.0; iii) The process of applying Maturity model in assessing the manufacturing enterprise towards Industry 4.0; iv) Some initial recommendations for Vietnamese manufacturing enterprises and v) Conclusion.

An important component of successful economic activity of industrial enterprises is the optimal sales model combined with e-commerce opportunities. The article analyzed two construction materials manufacturing enterprises categories: those using exclusively a sales network for the promotion of their products, and those developing a direct sales system to the final consumer via electronic commerce. These are basically two different logistical approaches to the process of selling their own products. The efficiency of using e-commerce logistics means is determined by the correlation of sales expenses index with an indicator of enterprises' net income. It was proved sales expenses' indicator affects the dynamics of the net income indicator positively only for the enterprises using e-commerce logistics as a means of setting up a direct sales channel for their products. The article provides recommendations for creating an optimal logistics e-commerce system for construction materials manufacturing enterprises.

This paper presents a method and a model framework for R&D changes planning in manufacturing enterprises, implementing digital transformation projects. The relevance of development of such method is evident because of growing number of factors, influencing the decision-making process and simultaneously the complexity of such influence estimation increases. Classical changes planning methods in such cases do not ensure required level of estimation objectivity and credibility. The objects of research are industrial enterprises, actively engaged in research, design and engineering. The subject of research are methods and models for R&D process changes planning in context of digital transformation endeavors, being implemented in the companies. The research objective is to develop a R&D process planning method, enabling to account for corporate changes, related to digital transformation processes. The proposed method is based on the analysis of the discrepancies between the actual enterprise architecture and the target one and search for possible solution to rectify these discrepancies. For quantitative estimation of the changes, an integral indicator "stakeholder satisfaction level" is proposed. This indicator is calculated using a set of models (a model framework), those preparation and application sequence is defined by the considered method. The paper describes the concept of the method, the problems, being solved within each stage, tools used and final outcomes. The example of planning R&D changes in manufacturing enterprise illustrates the method in work and provides for better understanding of the concepts, presented in the paper.

The rapid development of industry causes the need for fuel and energy to increase, especially fossil fuels (petroleum). This has the effect of an energy crisis. Biomass is of particular concern as one of the renewable energy sources to address the current energy crisis.  Biomass consists of hemiselulose, cellulose, and lignin that can be converted into liquids (bio-oils) of pyrolysis. One of the wastes that can be converted into bio-oil is tobacco waste. Tobacco waste is produced by more than 2 million tons eachs. The waste has the potential to be further processed into bio oil using fast pyrolysis method with efficient and quality bio-oil manufacturing measures. The bio-oil results from tobacco waste using the fast pyrolysis method have values of carbon, hydrogen, nitrogen, oxygen and other organic compounds and the H/C ratio is greater than the yield of tobacco waste bio-oil using the low pyrolysis method. Where the bio-oil of tobacco waste using the fast pyrolysis method has a high heating value equivalent to the distribution of hydrocarbons from biodiesel, which means it has the potential as an alternative energy to replace petroleum. The potential as a substitute fuel for petroleum must also be balanced with fast and efficient production, maximizing bio-oil production by selecting the reactor and the optimum temperature usedKeywords: Waste, Tobacco, Bio-Oil, Renewable Energy, Fast-pyrolisis
