Repository Banking and Finance (ReBaf) is one of the digital library services developed by STIE Perbanas Surabaya in an effort to extend the collection of banking and financial data organized by the Library of STIE Perbanas Surabaya. The ReBaf SISFO (information system) applies open-source software basis with PHP SQL programming language and Postgre SQL database.

Purpose This study aims to propose a new model by incorporating information system success model (ISSM) into technology acceptance model (TAM) with an “attitude toward using” as the connection variable. The new model is then adopted to analyse and investigate empirical data and develop relevant factors, which affect the personal usage behaviour and net benefits for National Central Library in Taiwan to enhance digital library services. The research results can benefit future establishment and design of library information system or improvement of website service procedures. Design/methodology/approach This study selected National Central Library Taiwan Digital Meta-Library as the research theme, and used stratified convenience sampling to perform interviews in various colleges and universities in the southern Taiwan. A total of 264 valid questionnaires were returned, and this study used structural equation modelling (SEM) to perform analyses. Findings The results reveal that attitude toward using is significantly and positively affected by perceived usefulness, perceived ease of use and user satisfaction. However, service quality of information system and personal net benefits do not have a significant and positive effect on attitude toward using, while they have an indirect and significant effect on attitude toward using through user satisfaction. Based on the results above, “user satisfaction” is the critical factor affecting the attitude toward using. Therefore, to strengthen users’ positive attitude toward using, the factor of user satisfaction is a key for enhancing digital library service. Originality/value This study constructed the “New Technology Information Assessment Model” as the reference for improving practical assessment. Moreover, this study also proposed the suggestions concerning digital library information services.

This paper shows  the evolution of the web-scale resource discovery services in libraries along with different discovery software available both in commercial and open source domain. The paper discusses several discovery tools and identifies several key parameters on the  basis of which can compare the usability and accessibility of different discovery software. It will be identifies tools possibilities of applications of these interactive, collaborative and participative tools in enhancing existing library services and the feasibility of introducing next generation library services. Therefore, today all world look-over the newly made association which is library discovery system. Library discovery system make a software like 'VuFind' as open source software,  digital library software to distributed across the globe.

New Santri Admission (Penerimaan Santri Baru) is an administrative process for the selection of new student candidates. The PSB process is always carried out manually at each school institution, especially the Islamic Boarding Schools, which will cause various difficulties from several related parties. Therefore the New Santri Admission System was created online or the term can be called the online PSB. . An idea emerged to create a new student admission information system based on the SQL database. With this system, pesantren or administrators can manage the implementation of student registration for web technology using the PHP programming language and new languages. such as rapid registration and announcements.

Digital library is a collection of electronic objects. Information retrieval is a part of digital library system. Digital library can be developed through open source software and tools. Institutional digital repository is also an important field in present and next generation automated and digital library system. Now, this paper is present how to import metadata formats from different database by EPrints for the development of institutional digital repository. There are different types of metadata formats available in open source environment but this paper is shows some high and matured level software for development and designing this integrated framework. However, in this section has a show how to data import from Koha, Emerald, D-Space, and Vu-Find for the better management of digital information services among the users as well as library professionals.

The purpose of this research is to examine students' information-seeking intention regarding academic digital library services guiding by the Theory of Reasoned Action (TRA) and Theory of Planned Behaviour (TPB). Data was collected among students in a public higher learning institution in Federal Territory of Labuan Malaysia. The empirical result of the hierarchical regression had confirmed that students' intention to seek for information in digital library was influenced mainly by their attitude, implying that, in predicting the information-seeking intention in an academic digital library with TPB was much better than TRA. The findings of the research provide broader insights for the academic digital libraries to be more aware of the important factors that influence library users in seeking for information and fulfil their requirement. A new motion can be developed by using the result of this research, which improve the knowledge from previous studies via the assessment from TPB.

More and more historical data are available on the web. In France, old cadastral maps are regularly published by the “départements”. Such material is relevant to various applications (on-the-field search of specific objects such as old boundary stakes, historical studies of demography, human activities, land cover…). The GeF laboratory is working on the development of a complete methodological toolchain to vectorise, correct and analyse cadastral parcels and their evolution, using open source software and programming language only (QGIS, GDAL, Python). This article details the use of a part of this toolchain - georeferencing old cadastral data - on parcels located near the Loir river, in two villages of southern Sarthe: Vaas and Aubigné-Racan. After a presentation of our methodological toolchain, we will discuss our first results.

Digital library as one of the supporting services of information technology-based learning process has been found in many universities, but in the implementation, there are still many obstacles. Therefore, it is necessary to evaluate using appropriate tools to obtain accurate results. Based on that, the primary purpose of this paper is to explain the physical design of applications that apply the modified CSE-UCLA model with weighted product method, so it can be used to evaluate the digital library. Subjects involved in conducting trials on this application for digital library evaluation are four peoples consisting of two educational experts and two informatics experts. The location of the experiment was done in one of the computer universities in Bali Province. The tool used to collect data of trial result is in the form of questionnaires. The analysis technique used is descriptive quantitative concerning the quality percentage of each trial aspects. The results obtained from this study were average percentage of evaluation application quality of 92.00% belonging to the excellent category, so it can be concluded in general that applications were ready for use to evaluate the quality of digital library services.
