The current development of information technology on the activities of people's daily lives is very influential. Where in doing an activity that takes a lot of time can be shortened to complete it. One of the things that we can see at this time is in the field of education. Education service technology is feasible if the government, education service providers, and the community all work together. The problem is how to build information system technology that can provide educational service processes without intervening in existing operational standards. The New Student Admissions Information System is a website-based platform designed to enable public access to information about schools and the new student registration process. The waterfall approach was used to construct this information system, together with the PHP programming language, the Codeigniter 3 framework, the MVC pattern, and the MySQL database. The results obtained in the form of a new student admission information system website that provides services related to registration, and processing of registration data by the school administration. With this research, it is expected to facilitate new student admission officers at Al Azhar Islamic Elementary School 32 Padang to process data well, and help parents to register their children as new students at Al Azhar Islamic Elementary School 32 Padang.

New Student Admission, hereinafter abbreviated as PPDB, is stated in the Regulation of the Minister of Education and Culture of the Republic of Indonesia Number 51 of 2018, carried out based on the principles of non-discrimination, objective, transparent, accountable and fair. One of them is implemented with the PPDB zoning system policy. The New Student Admission (PPDB) zoning system raises a number of impacts. In practice, SMAN 1 Srengat has encountered several effects that have arisen since the implementation of the PPDB zoning system. Among them are the random input of students and the low enthusiasm for learning in students who are accepted through the zoning route without any selection with qualifications based on the acquisition of learning outcomes at the previous level. This research tries to review overcoming the problems of the teaching and learning process after the implementation of the zoning system PPDB policy at SMAN 1 Srengat. So that it can be seen that, in response to the implementation of the PPDB policy of the zoning system which generates random input and raises problems in the spirit of learning, SMAN 1 Srengat implements innovation and development of transformative and comprehensive student coaching.

Carleton Washburne's pedagogical expertise in the production of knowledge about the teaching of arithmeticThe objective of this text is to analyze, from a historiographic perspective, the constitution of knowledge about the teaching of mathematics from the emergence of the figure of the expert in the school environment. It is specifically about analyzing the pedagogical actions of Carleton Washburne, an important American pedagogue of progressive education. For this purpose, the concepts of expertise and expert arising from the studies developed by Hofstetter et al 2017 were used as an analysis tool. The results of the analysis indicate that when invited to transform Winnetka's public schools into schools of excellence, Washburne produced and systematized specific knowledge about the teaching of arithmetic, resulting in the restructuring of mathematical contents, in new practices, new teaching materials, new student-teacher-knowledge relationship, new pedagogical knowledge, in order to ensure that the student followed his own pace of development. At this time, it is no longer enough for teachers to know the arithmetic contents and the methods by which to teach them, but what, how, why and when, and this depends on the production of new school knowledge about the teaching of arithmetic in primary school. Keywords: Arithmetic made to mesure; Teaching individualization; Expert in education; Winnetka system; Teacher training.

Socialization is a process, in which a new member of society learns the norms and values of which he or she is a member. This socialization is done as a form of effort from universities to be able to provide information about the admission of new students. This aims that information about this can be conveyed properly in accordance with the Mandate of the Ministry of Education and Technology which expects that there is an increase in the Gross Participation Rate (APK) of Higher Education in Indonesia, especially in bandar Lampung City. The low Gross Participation Rate (APK) of Higher Education in Indonesia in 2018 showed a figure of 33.37%. This figure shows the lag when compared to some other communities in ASEAN. Seeing this, Lampung University as one of the universities also organizes socialization of new student admissions every year. The new student admission system is carried out through the test path determined by the Ministry of Education and Technology. In addition, Lampung University also held student admissions through the achievement path as a form of appreciation of Indonesian students who have ability both in the academic and non-academic fields. Socialization of new student admissions of Lampung University to increase the Gross Participation Rate of Universities in Bandar Lampung City is generally done through online and direct socialization on a limited basis while still complying with health protocols. This socialization activity is also continued with evaluation and monitoring so that the activities run well and the desired essence and objectives can be achieved.

Drugs are substances or illegal drugs that can endanger human life. Someone who consumes it in an inappropriate way will become dependent and even result in death. The physical characteristics of people who use drugs vary, but the more obvious characteristics are on the faces of drug users such as red eyes, stiff facial muscles, dark spots, pupils susceptible to light, sunken face shape, and dullness. The lack of physical characteristics of drug users due to similarities with other diseases makes it difficult for people to recognize them initially. However, for users whose face data has been tracked by the National Narcotics Agency, the facial data is stored in the dataset. This research was conducted with the aim of building a system that can detect and recognize prospective students whether they have ever been included in drug users recorded in the National Narcotics Agency dataset or not as one of the requirements for new student admissions to universities. The system built using the Principal Component Analysis method to process and extract images of the physical characteristics of drug users through the facial image data of drug users stored in the dataset. If the detected face has similarities with the characteristics in the dataset, it is necessary to suspect that the detected face is a drug user. The results of this study are the system is able to detect the faces of drug users using the Principal Component Analysis method with an accuracy of 90% and it is hoped that with this research the system can be one solution in helping universities as an identification effort to minimize drug use so that it can be an additional identification tool which strengthens someone detected using drugs.

The analyzed ruling is the first judgement which the Court of Justice passed in order to provide interpretationfor the new Student Directive (2016/801 of 11 May 2016 on the conditions of entry and residence ofthird-country nationals for the purposes of research, studies, training, voluntary service, pupil exchange schemesor educational projects and au pairing). Due to its judiciary activism, the Court was able to find a connectionbetween the case pending before a national court and EU law in the case of M.A. In the end, the Court finallydecided that in the case at issue, regarding the rights of a foreign national to apply for a residence permit for thepurpose of enrolling in second-cycle studies programme in Poland, the procedure of applying for a long-stay visaon the grounds of national law must be safeguarded by the guarantees under Article 47 of the Charter of FundamentalRights. The guarantees apply to the actual states in which EU law is applicable – in this case the “StudentDirective.” It seems that the ruling in the case of M.A. will play a crucial role in facilitating students’ – TCNs’ – entryinto the territory of the Republic of Poland, while the Polish legislator, in all probability, will be obliged to changethe provisions of the national law in such a way as to make it possible for future students to access a full array oflegal remedies against the negative decisions of consuls.
