One of the greatest drawbacks for entrepreneurship is to achieve the financial sustainability of a project in the short term. This is a phase of the venture in which mistakes can be made and ideas can be considered; in the beginning, they can be considered as good ideas, but they are usually not brought to a happy end because of wrong decision making. Being the access to venture capital a vital need for a project, it is very possible that the decisions that are made are not accurate and with this, financial pressure is placed on a project that, at its outset, requires support in this regard. Due to the above, the improvement in the levels of financial education and the early insertion in the financial services is a decision that helps to improve the quality of decision making and with this, to have greater certainty about the possibilities of success that an entrepreneurship project can have.

Education has a very decisive role, not only for the development and manifestation of individuals but also for the development of a nation and a state. The progress of a culture depends on how that culture recognizes, appreciates, and uses its human resources. This is closely related to the quality of education provided to members of the community. The word decision means choice, namely the choice of two or more possibilities. Decision making is hardly a choice between right and wrong but what often happens is a choice between "almost right" and "maybe wrong". Decision making in an organization is the result of a continuous process of communication and participation from the entire organization. The results of these decisions can be statements that are agreed between alternatives or between procedures to achieve certain goals. However, to be able to determine the best decision, there are several methods that can be used to build a decision support system, one of which is Promethee. The promethee method is included in the Multi Criteria Decision Making (MCDM) group solving or multiple criteria decision making which is a discipline that is very important in making decisions on a problem that has more than one criterion (multicriteria).

Abstract Background: The aim of this study was to investigate the quality of immunization data and monitoring system in the Dara Malo district (woreda) of Gamo Administrative Zone, Southern Nations, Nationalities and Peoples Region (SNNPR) of Ethiopia. Method: a cross-sectional study was conducted from August 4 to September 27, 2019 in Dara Malo District. The district was purposively selected during the management of a pertussis outbreak based on the hypothesis ‘there is no difference in reported and recounted immunization status of children 7 to 23 months in Dara Malo District of Ethiopia’. A quality index (QI) and proportions of completeness, timeliness and accuracy ratio of the first and third doses of pentavalent vaccines and the first dose of measles-containing vaccines (MCV) were made. Results: in this study 336 month-facility data were extracted. In addition, 595 children aged 7 - 23 months, with a response rate of 94.3%, were assessed and compared for immunization status using register and immunization cards or caretakers’ oral report through the household survey. The ratio of vaccination data compared using tallies against the reports showed evidences of over reporting with 50.8%, 45.1% and 46.5% for first pentavalent, third pentavalent and first dose of measles vaccinations, respectively. Completeness of third dose of pentavalent vaccinations were 95.3%, 956% and 100.0% at health posts, health centers and at the district health office, respectively. The QI scores ranged between 61.0% and 80.5% for all five categories, namely, 73.0% for recording, 71.4% for archiving and reporting, 70.4% for demographic information, 69.7% for core outputs and 70.4% for data uses and were assessed as suboptimal at all levels. Conclusion: The immunization data completeness was found to be optimal. However, in the study area, the accuracy, consistency, timeliness and quality of monitoring system were found to be sub-optimal. Therefore, poor data quality has led to wrong decision making during the reported pertussis outbreak management. Enhancing the capacity of healthcare providers on planning, recording, archiving and reporting, analyzing, and use of immunization data for evidence-based decision making is recommended.

Summary: Typically, financial services are contracted between parties with an unequal status. This inequality results from information asymmetry and the one-sided decision-making authority over the range of products offered. It thus limits the bargaining power on the part of consumers. Financial education can help reduce such information asymmetry. On the consumer protection side, legislators are countering this inequality with regulations regarding information and advisory duties. However, it remains problematic that due to the decision-making authority over the product range offered, particularly vulnerable consumers can only access a limited range of financial services. At the same time, these consumers may already be under extreme pressure in terms of their monetary needs. Therefore, financial education and consumer protection are both crucial tools to avoid inequality in bargaining power, and consequently over-indebtedness and disproportionate restrictions on access. In this respect, general financial education in the context of social consumer protection has multiple functions. It must include social contexts and how to deal with life risks, it requires a basic understanding and awareness of one’s own attitude toward money, and it should promote the ability and willingness to represent one’s own interests.

It is of fundamental importance that Brazilian school institutions are concerned with financial education in people's daily lives, since this is indispensable in everyday decision-making, both school and family, because much of what is learned in the school context, is practiced at home. In this sense, the basic question raised for this work is: how to propose a financial education that favors discussions about the family budget of high school students in Brazilian schools? One of the aspects that needs to be pointed out is the problem related to the quality of students' decision-making, with regard to financial education, whether in the formal or non-formal context of teaching. The current situation points to a very significant number of people who have financial defaults, failing to meet their monetary commitments. Thus, in order to maximize studies on this theme, the work sought to collect information and trends on this theme on the national scene, through a bibliographic article, focusing on academic productions related to financial education and aimed at high school. The aim of this study was to show the importance of working on this topic with high school students, the habit since adolescence of having a healthy financial life, which later in adulthood will be put with more practice and experience.

Short-term load forecasting in power system is an important daily work in Dispatch Operation Department of Power System. The level of forecasting accuracy directly affects the operating economy and supply quality of power system. This paper adopts the rough sets to forecast short-term load. It designs an overall structure of forecasting the short-term load based on the rough sets, applies the rough sets to analyze the importance of attribute of each condition on decision-making attribute and then gets a reduced forecasting system, lists examples to forecast short-term load on the basis of the real historical data, and compare the results with the traditional decision-making tree algorithm. The results of this study prove that the rough sets is much practical in short-term load forecasting.

We study the impact of financial education on intertemporal choice in adolescence. The educational program was randomly assigned among high school students, and choices were measured using an incentivized experiment. Students who participated in the program make more time-consistent choices; are more likely to allocate payments to a single payment date, as opposed to spreading payment across two dates; and display increased consistency of choice with the law of demand. These findings suggest that financial education increases the quality of intertemporal decision-making and decreases narrow bracketing. (JEL C93, D14, D15, I21, J13)

In the debate between marginal decision-making and full absorbance that has been going on since the nineteenth century, activity-based costing/management (ABC/M) appeared as a promising decision support tool which answers the criticism leveled against traditional cost accounting. This paper describes the strengths and weaknesses of ABC/M from a global value creation perspective, in an effort to explain why it failed to live up to its promise and why not too many companies retained it beyond a short pilot period. The paper suggests the global decision-making methodology (GDM), as an effective alternative to costing methods, which improves the quality of decisions and enhances organization value. The paper illustrates its implementation by presenting a case study of a large international financial services organization that abandoned the ABC/M system it had been using for seven years in favor of GDM. The ABC/M system was transformed to a throughput focused “light ABC” system that supports GDM. The article describes the circumstances that led the organization to adopt GDM, and provides general guidelines for its implementation.

Abstract In most work sites, it is a priority to keep the work going well and to avoid unforeseen incidents. Fluctuations in weather conditions are one of the factors affecting the continuity of work in construction projects. Indeed, for example, the temperature is important in concrete and asphalt works, and wind speed is important in lifting and high construction works. Therefore, taking the appropriate decision, starting and completing the work, is very important to maintain the quality of the project. This research aims to demonstrate the reliability of short-term decision-making through data taken from the weather site five days before the time to work. The data was collected for a month, five days before the intended day and on the same day, day and night, for different weather factors by weather location such as temperature, humidity, possibility of rain, Uv index, wind speed. By analyzing the data, it was found that there was little difference in those predictors of all the factors recorded. To conclude at the end of the study that it is possible to rely on the decision-making on the weather location in small and medium projects, but in large and sensitive projects, they need to rely on more accurate data than relying on weather location data.
