Sustainable agriculture helps to promote farming practices and methods in order to sustain farmers and resources. It is economically viable, socially supportive, and economically sound. It assists to maintain soil quality, reduce soil erosion and degradation, and also save water resources. Sustainable agriculture improves the biodiversity of the land and thus leads to the healthy and natural environment. The sustainable agriculture is very essential to ordinate with the increasing demand for the food, climate change, and degradation of the ecosystem in future. It plays a major role for preserving natural resources, reducing greenhouse gas emissions, halting biodiversity loss, and caring for valued landscapes. Sustainable agriculture is applied to farming in order to preserve the nature without compromising the quality of the future generation basic needs and thus enable to make smartness in farming. The common practices included in smart farming for sustainable agriculture are crop rotations that mitigate weeds, disease, insect, and other pest problems.

The common agricultural policy over the years has expanded the tools of promotion and protection of farm produce quality. At the national level but also from Europe we are witnessing a change in consumer behavior: they become more and more relevant information needs, safety and food security, increasing demand for quality products and the willingness to pay for those products that meet consumer expectations. The paper focuses on the perceived quality of local products in order to identify those variables that influence purchasing decisions and dietary habits and consumer group. The survey was conducted using a principal components analysis to summarize the information that characterizes the choices of consumption, followed by cluster analysis which allowed us to confirm the presence of different segments of consumers of local products.

The transport of the tram system on a high capacity corridor in a narrow urban area with increasing demand has become limiting both in terms of capacity and in terms of quality improvement. In this sense, the tram system in Sarajevo, as the primary system of city passenger transport, for many years, requires improvement in order to meet demand. The lack of clear strategies and plans for improving the primary transport system results in interventions of short-term investments in the maintenance of the infrastructure and suprastructure of the classic tramway of outdated and abandoned technology. In this way, the system is brought into a state of very unreliable and unsafe work. On the other hand, it is obvious that the development of individual motorized traffic has led to the fact that the common route has worsened the quality and safety of driving. The paper presents basic guidelines and aspects for the transformation of the classical tram in Sarajevo to the Light Rail System that can reach the fast city railway with the quantity and quality of the offer.

Abstract Unfavorable environmental issues raise attention globally toward the concept of sustainability. Agriculture is not only a sector influenced greatly by environmental conditions, but at the same time, as the most important utilizer of land, a major shaper of the environmental conditions. When forming agricultural policies special attention should be paid to issues such as climate change, scarcity of fresh water, food shortage and biodiversity loss — just to name some of them. The new European general strategy for the upcoming 7 years period has brought new measures for the agricultural policy as well, environment and sustainability being among the top issues.

We are living through serious problems of environmental pollution, which causes great risks to the well-being of the population. These problems are presented by the bad planning of urban growth, and many times in very bad quality. Industrialization grows in the cities without having an order and an appropriate planning to avoid the damage in our environment. The construction sector is largely responsible for this global pollution that is experienced today. As the years go by, architects aim to improve the quality of their construction and improve our quality of life. New projects arise with strategy and planning, developing a new type of architecture which contemplates the damage it would do to the environment and how this issue could be solved based on its construction development. The profession of architects, or urban planners who are involved in the development of cities, are responsible for creating new developments by designing the impact of climate change. The architectural community carries a great responsibility in designing with the flows of materials, energy, climate change, causes and solutions in mind. Architecture must involve sustainability in its construction process and know how to implement it to cause an environmental impact to satisfy the common welfare.

Agriculture is becoming an important growing sector throughout the world due to increasing population. Major challenge in agriculture sector is to improve farm productivity and quality of farming without continuous manual monitoring to meet the rapidly growing demand for food. Apart from increasing population, the climate change is also a big concern in agricultural sector. Thus, rather than performing outdoor irrigation; here a small indoor farming method is performed based on Internet of Things. The smart farming method enables the collection of data and automated farming technique.

Careful management of agricultural ecosystems is considered a vital procedure to ensure both environmental health and the sustainability of this sector, particularly when, besides all the argumentative used by farmers, there are no globally accepted sustainable management solutions for agriculture. This scenario poses several challenges for the agricultural sector all over the world, especially on an increasing climate change situation, in which extreme weather phenomena tend to be gradually more severe, as is the case of floods and draughts. Still, considering that the last decades were marked by great developments in agricultural management systems as is the case of precision agriculture, hi-tech-agriculture, organic farming, conservation agriculture, sustainable agriculture, smart farming, among others, it is crucial to assess specific case studies, in which the application of predetermined sustainable farming principles and/or procedures contributed to increase their resilience to climate change on a sustainable manner.

Abstract A productive agriculture depends on diversity of biodiversity that extends from crops (including food crops) and livestock to their wild relatives, and beyond this to a vast array of other flora and fauna. There is a close relationship among agriculture productivity, biodiversity conservation and livelihood objectives. Biodiversity loss have significant impact to agriculture and economic development. Since sustainable agriculture in Indonesia has not yet been well implemented, our challenge today is how to push such agriculture so as to promote agrobiodiversity, and it is clear that sustainable agriculture both promote and is enhanced by biodiversity. Or, biodiversity conservation can be implemented through sustainable agriculture. Agriculture, ecosystem, and biodiversity are affected by climate change which is now ongoing. Ecosystem play a major role in reducing the impact of climate change. Since biodiversity and agriculture are in it, thus best management of ecosystem can play an important role in climate change mitigation and social adaptation, but will only provide benefits if deployed in conjunction with a redution in fosil fuel emissions. Thus, sustainable agriculture can also contribute to conservation and sustainable use of biodiversity, and also to reduce the impact of climate change.
