Abstract One of many problems in the madrasahs is that learning processes less-involve students actively (teacher-centered), thus, it affects to the improvement of learning outcomes and quality of the graduates. The purposes of this study are , firstly, to analyze what type of constructivism learning models, which can be developed to overcome madrasahs’ problems. Secondly, how to design and implement a learning plan based on the developed constructivism models. This research was conducted at Private Islamic Elementary School  (Madrasah) Ad-Diyanah Ciputat, South Tangerang. Research method used in this study is descriptive-qualitative research. The results showed that the active learning models based on constructivism are suitable to be developed in the Madarasah, which were the models of Problem Based Learning (PBM), Realistic Learning, Inquiry Learning and Thematic Learning and also how the development of the learning processes from the lesson plans to the learning implementation showed a paradigm shifting from teacher-centered to student-centered. Background: PBL appears to answer many concerns regarding educational methods, encourages students to look for new solutions to relevant problems using available knowledge and resources. The process expands students' critical thinking and problem solving skills while enhancing their creative capabilities Objective: To develop a PBL modules for teaching of organic chemistry. Methods: This module was developed for implementation in the curriculum of Chemistry Departments in Colleges of Sciences and Education. This is an innovations to be developed for increasing the wide-ranging abilities of students. A series of strategies which are involved in PBL, concept mapping and online communications, are suggested and discussed in terms of encouraging student-centered learning.

ABSTRACT With the emergence of new sets of technological tools, university students are now offered more authentic learning experiences involving real-world, complex problems and their solutions. This focus on problem-based activities and case studies has produced a learning environment that is inherently multidisciplinary. This paper reports on the development of a scaffolded learning assignment with blended components applied in an accounting subject that was taught in a cross-disciplinary setting. The assignment was developed in a sociocultural context, based on a Vygotskian approach, and this paper details its design and development. The five stages of the assignment were carefully scaffolded and included elements of individual and group tasks, finishing with an individual reflection on the process. Formative assessment and associated feedback are important elements of the scaffolding and thus the paper reports both the design and implementation of the assignment, and provides qualitative feedback from students regarding how completing the assignment enhanced their learning in accounting. The paper concludes with suggestions for further applications for the learning design of the assignment.

Contemporary technological and social developments demand transformation of educational practices. Teachers and schools are no longer fountains of knowledge that fill students with information. Rather, their primarily role is to equip students with new literacies, competencies for productive use of information technology, and sufficient disciplinary-specific bases of conceptual knowledge. This requires changes toward student-centered practices. In such contexts, teachers are designers of learning; therefore lesson planning is replaced with a concept of ?learning design.? This paper introduces the RASE (Resources-Activity-Support-Evaluation) learning design model developed as a framework to assist teachers in designing learning modules. Central to RASE is the emphasis on the design of activities where students engage in using resources and in the production of artifacts that demonstrate learning. The paper also emphasizes the importance of ?conceptual models? as a special type of educational multimedia resource, and its role in assisting learning and application of concepts, as opposed to the ?information transfer? models. RASE is beginning to emerge as a powerful framework for transformation of teachers and their traditional practices to contemporary, relevant student-centered practices. The model is also an effective framework for productive uses of information technology in education.

This development research is aimed to develop training procedures that can help participants implement the results of the training in their respective assignments. Validation is carried out by experts in education by providing a questionnaire to fill out. This method was chosen so that the validator can provide conclusions (invalid, less valid, quite valid, valid, and very valid) directly on each part of the research product which includes competency-based training guides, training programs, lesson plans, and problem-based learning design modules for studio operational instructor, camera operator subject.

Abstract (Students’ Problem Solving Ability through Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning)Currently mathematical problem solving ability was a part of mathematics curriculum. In fact, the mathematical problem solving ability of students was not optimized, one of the reasons is there are still many students who have problems in terms of understanding the basic concepts. To optimizing the mathematical problem solving ability of students, it, can be reached by implementing student-centered learning. Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning are two of a lot of student-centered learning models. The purpose of this study was to determine the difference of achievement mathematical problem solving ability between students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models.  The results of this study are there is not a difference enhancement of mathematical problem solving ability between students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models. Meanwhile, the quality of enhancement mathematical problem solving ability students who get Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models are in the middle interpretation. In general, students' attitudes toward learning mathematics using Learning Cycle 7E and Problem Based Learning models each in good interpretation.
