The term metadata is frequently considered in many different sciences. Statistical metadata is a term generally used to denote data about data. Modern statistical information systems (SIS) use metadata templates or complex object-oriented metadata models, making an extensive and active usage of metadata.

The paper presents Data processing and optimization system for studying and making rational decisions on the formation of interstate electric power interconnections, with aim to increasing effectiveness of their functioning and expansion. The technologies for building and integrating a Data processing and optimization system including an object-oriented database and a predictive mathematical model for optimizing the expansion of electric power systems ORIRES, are described. The technology of collection and pre-processing of non-structured data collected from various sources and its loading to the object-oriented database, as well as processing and presentation of information in the GIS system are described. One of the approaches of graphical visualization of the results of optimization model is considered on the example of calculating the option for expansion of the South Korean electric power grid.

This paper introduces an initial effort towards developing a framework for writing an effective literature review. The target audience for the framework are novice IS researchers or other researchers who are constantly struggling with the development of an effective literature-based foundation for the proposed research. The proposed framework follows the systematic data processing approach comprised of three major stages: 1) inputs (literature gathering and screening), 2) processing (Blooms Taxonomy), and 3) outputs (writing the review). This paper provides the rationale for developing a solid literature review and addresses the central stage, processing the literature. The paper concludes by providing arguments for the value of an effective literature review as well as implications for future work in this proposed framework.

Results of a physically-based methodology to delineate morphometrical-morphostructural subdivision of the Western Carpathian region (Central Europe) from DEMs and their derivatives are presented. Previous suitability evaluation of an object-oriented methodology showed its potential in recognition of morphostructural features. In this study we moved towards a more complex object-oriented approach – fusion of segmentation and classification on several hierarchical levels. In addition, physicallybased geomorphometric variables were used as input data, resulting in enhancement of subsequent morphotectonic interpretations. Decrease of local variance of the delineated objects in comparison with simple segmentations without these upgrades confirms the efficiency of our approach.

The population data is the data have to be in record in any office the villages around. With the citizens data , the village office can do monitoring inhabitant of which is found in the neighborhood. So far, the village office sampean kecamatan sungai kanan kabupaten labuhan batu selatan, north sumatra still use application desktop in doing processing the population data that is use application microsoft excel .In such a manner as there are still several problems and the obstacles, especially time and energy issued when their distribution data population in parties in need by the village office sampean. The purpose of he did this research is to design and construct information system the population data processing based android. With the information systems that in designed by the writer, is expected to help parties the village office sampean in doing processing the population data and do distribution the population data easily And rapidly through a smartphone android. Information system built by using application kodular and a database airtable
