This chapter aims to elucidate needs and competences of content teachers participating in higher education multilingual programs in order to devise a tailored training program for those contexts in which the language is not used naturally, and in which the teachers usually present some language difficulties to deliver, and students to comprehend, the lessons. The chapter starts with a discussion of the teachers' needs and follows with an analysis of the competences for CLIL teaching, offering a list of indicators which are embraced in three main dimensions: language, methodology, and emotion. These indicators provide the framework for teacher trainers and other stakeholders to design training courses. The methodology of the training has also been discussed and advised, taking the form of workshops, team teaching, reflective teaching, and other options, in both short-term and long-term bases.

The main aim of this research is to understand future teachers' attitudes, knowledge and needs about Massive Open Online Courses (MOOCs). These courses may be a supplementary resource in higher education that can fill fields of knowledge which the curriculum could not encompass. In addition, this type of course can contribute significantly to both initial and continuing teacher training. For this reason, understanding students' perspectives on MOOCs is essential. For this reason a questionnaire was administered to students of the Bachelor in Teaching of Childhood Education, Bachelor in Teaching of Primary Education and Master in Training Teachers of Secondary Education (n=145). The results indicate that a large part of the sample confirm not that they do not know anything about MOOCs. The chapter concludes that universities need to train future teachers in MOOC culture. Keeping the focus on the book section “RIA and education practice of MOOCs”, this chapter provides a valuable research insight into the topic of “educational training design.”

The financial crisis engulfing Kenyan universities has impacted operations and raised doubts about long-term sustainability. This crisis has a double impetus: at the national level, policy changes impacting the entire system, and at the institutional level, challenges in terms of financial governance. A short-term solution requires an immediate infusion of cash, but a long-term strategy entails a multipronged reform in the financing of higher education at national and institutional levels.

The aims of this study to find out anti-corruption education urgence for state Islamic religious teachers. This study use Qualitative Research Methods. The result show that Corruption is seen as an extra ordinary crime, therefore it requires extraordinary efforts to eradicate it. Efforts to eradicate corruption which consists of two major parts, namely prosecution and prevention will never be optimally successful if only carried out by the government without involving public participation. Therefore it is not an exaggeration if students - as an important part of society who are the inheritors of the future - are expected to be actively involved in efforts to eradicate corruption in Indonesia. Of course, these efforts are still a discourse and the benefits will not be felt in the short term, but in the long term this discourse is believed to be fruitful. If higher education starts, especially PTKIN, it will inspire others, and one day it comes to efforts to draft a legal product with anti-corruption nuances that can be initiated in PTKIN, such as the Bill, Ranperda and the like. Hopefully PTKIN can play a more significant role in the future. Thus, corruption can be minimized and even eliminated from this beloved country, including through optimizing the role of PTKIN.

Chapter 12 serves as a conclusion chapter for the entire text. This chapter reiterates the importance of acquisition and learning and, in particular, the importance of balancing acquisition and learning for online teacher training. This chapter also focuses on identifying future trends in online teacher training and potential directions for institutions, accreditation committees, and higher education in general to pursue. In addition, this chapter further argues for the flexibility of an online teacher training program utilizing acquisition and learning to present the argument that this concept is within reach for all universities that should want to further the training of their online instructors.

Teacher trainers/educators play a key role in the process of normalisation, as defined by Bax (2003), in the training of foreign language teachers to use technology as a regular part of their practice. This study explores teacher trainer attitudes towards adopting technology, their readiness to use it on teacher training courses, and their current levels of comfort in integrating it on Cambridge CELTA courses, a pre-service course currently followed by approximately 12,000 candidates annually. The results and discussion will stimulate some reflection as to what degree such courses are responsive to the objective of integrating technology in the training of foreign language teachers.

The evaluation enables making decision by monitoring educational actions, pointing out the progress of students, as well as highlighting the gaps in teaching and learning, providing information for teachers, managers and students, giving opportunities for further training in higher education. With this, the research starts from the following question: how did the evaluative practices of the teachers in the Degree in History? The object of the research was based on evaluative practices in higher education, specifically in two undergraduate courses. The objective was to understand the evaluation practices in undergraduate courses in History, to conceptualize evaluation of teaching and learning and to describe the evaluation practices carried out by the coordinators. The research, of bibliographical and field character, has used the studies of Cavalcante and Mello (2015), Moraes (2014), Tardif (2008), Viana (2012) and others. The methodology of qualitative approach was developed through semi-structured interviews with the managers. The managers' revelations evidenced that the evaluation was carried out by the teachers, autonomously, without the assistance of the Coordination, being no longer characterized as didactic-pedagogical subsidy to foster improvements in teaching and learning in teacher training courses, reducing to measurement conception focused on the application of instruments, on the quantification of learning and without the conception of measurement focused on the application of instruments, the quantification of learning and without feedback students. Keywords: Teaching-learning assessment, Teacher education, Managers.Palavras-chave: Práticas avaliativas, Ensino e aprendizagem, Formação docente, Gestores.Palabras claves: Enseñanza-aprendizaje, Evaluación, Formación docente, Administradores.ReferencesBOGDAN, R.
