The development of information and communication technology (ICT) has been implemented in various fields, including in government. To support the implementation of e-Government (e-Gov) and improve the quality of public services, many technology-based applications have been created by government agencies, both central and local governments. DISKOMINFOARPUS Cimahi City built an application called SILPa KAMI to support the vision of Cimahi Smart City. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method that aims to determine how the implementation and sustainability of the SILPa KAMI application and what kind of characteristics the agencies should have so it can replicate this application. The results of the study reveal that the implementation of the SILPa KAMI application is running well because it has fulfilled various success factors of e-Gov implementation which is also marked by the sustainability even though there are still obstacles. Also, the use of ICT based on the e-leadership aspect, the information network infrastructure aspect, the information management aspect, the business environment aspect, as well as the community and human resources aspect has been optimally utilized. This application is relatively easy to be replicated by other agencies. The agencies that can replicate this application must have the availability of budget, the availability of related facilities and infrastructure and the availability of reliable ICT managers.

The virtual enterprise model is an emerging approach in answer to the new requirements of the business environment, relying on dynamically-reconfigurable partnerships, with extremely high performances, strongly time-oriented while being highly focused on cost and quality, in permanent alignment with the market, and strongly supported by information and communication technology, dictating a paradigm face shift to the traditional organizational models. Networking and reconfiguration dynamics are the main characteristics of this model, requiring enabling and supporting environments, at bearable costs. Some existing technologies and Internet-based environments can partially support this organizational model, but the reconfiguration dynamics can only be assured by environments able to manage, control, and enable networking and dynamics in virtual enterprise creation/reconfiguration. Several environments are introduced in the chapter, and particular focus is given to the market of resources, an environment coping with the requirements of the virtual enterprise model.

Those that evolve choose the path of advancement and are determined to sustain their competitive positions. The financial services sector is one sector that is particularly undergoing changes and banks particularly in this sector face changes from all front. All segments in which banks operate from payment transfers to home loans are under serious pressures due to FinTechs and technology. The banking sector in Namibia is no exception. Hence, adopting a qualitative research approach with content analysis, primary data gathered by questionnaires from Standard Bank employees, the study aims to investigate employees' outlook regarding quality and CRM nexus for enriched competitive strategy in an ever-changing and competitive environment. With the rapid development of information and communication technology, a variety of new industries and services are rapidly evolving based on the convergence between existing Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and heterogeneous industries. In the meantime, the FinTech market, created by the convergence of financial and ICT areas, is emerging and growing rapidly. The new market of virtual transaction based on digital money is growing faster than any other FinTech area. The purpose of this study is to determine whether the perceived difference in the virtuality of a consumer’s transaction affects the consumer's purchasing behavior and how the behavior changes. Specifically, this study revealed that consumers' perceived virtuality differs according to the type of transaction method. Consumers felt that the money was more virtual when they had digital (virtual) currency for a service than when they had cash. This virtuality of money controls the psychological distance of the consumer's money, which is closer to cash than virtual currency. This difference in psychological distance affects consumers' information processing, such that when psychological distances are far (vs. close), consumers prefer products that are described as abstract (vs. concrete), and have a more favorable attitude toward products with more variety.
