The successive economic crises around the world have resulted in social uprisings and a negative impact on the psychological behavior of consumers. This research aims to study the antecedent’s price perception in times of crisis, and to test their impacts on the price sensitivity and consciousness value. This leads to a new valuation of the purchase experience for consumers. A quantitative study of 362 people. The main results of our study are the main history of price sensitivity in times of crisis: the concern for purchasing power, the reduction of financial well-being and financial fear. Moreover, that the perceived value of the shopping experience is no longer valued by the hedonistic aspect but rather by an economic value linked to value for money and a spiritual value linked to the social aspect of consumption

The packaging industry has considerably been witnessing significant growth over the past few years. In today’s scenario, incorporating sustainable practices in packaging businesses is becoming a standard. Whether, it is due to the preferences of manufacturers, regulatory standards, consumer pressure, or retailer’s choice, the eco-friendly packaging solutions are increasingly attaining a rise in demand. Shifting trend towards environmental efficiency, has led to an increase in focus on fewer resources, lesser energy as well as smaller footprint among various packaging businesses. In order to cater to the potential pressure stemming from these trends, advanced level of agility and technological innovation is gaining traction. Hence, re-inventing and re-thinking by packaging industries poses strong and concrete opportunities for the transformational shift towards sustainability solutions thereby, also eliminating the plastic packaging issues in different sectors. This paper discusses about the determinants impacting sustainable packaging along with the market analysis for the same.

The present article focuses on the use of information technology in education in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic, analyzing the sustainability of online learning methods, as reflected in students’ attitude towards the researched topic. The paper aims to raise awareness about the importance of sustainability in education, despite challenges and changes which may occur in our society. Based on an inductive research approach, qualitative research methods (e.g. the questionnaire) are used in the present paper, according to the modern trend of using qualitative research methods in the field of economic papers. The research approach is interdisciplinary, considering aspects of economics, sociology and psychology. The research findings illustrate the fact that on a short-term basis, online learning may be implemented in universities with success, but on a long-term basis, a hybrid system based on blended learning must be designed in order to ensure sustainability in education. The research may have a social impact beyond academia, as it relates to sustainability in education

Sustainable development promotes the concept of reconciling economic and social progress without endangering the naturally balanced balance on the planet. The idea behind this concept is to ensure a better quality of life for all the inhabitants of the planet, for the present generations and for the future generations. In Romania, as a member state of the European Union, in 1997 the National Center for Sustainable Development was created under the auspices of the Romanian Academy, which over time managed to become the most authorized voice in civil society in the field of developing proposals and strategies for sustainable development of Romania. The purpose of the National Center for Sustainable Development is to identify Romania's sustainable development priorities and achieve them through concrete projects at the national and local levels. The purpose of this paper is to identify and analyze the opinion of the Romanian citizens regarding Sustainable Development's current context and situation.

COVID-19 has impacted economic and social dimensions around the globe. It triggered changes in consumer behavior requiring marketing efforts to be rethought from the sustainability point of view. The presented research is motivated by the recent article by P. Kotler discussing the new role of marketing and seeks to explore the effects of the pandemic on marketing and outline post-pandemic tendencies. The qualitative research approach was applied to interview marketing managers in Georgia to analyze the impact of the crisis on marketing management. It also reveals opportunities for marketing in post-pandemic times and sheds light on factors for marketing transformation. The research emphasizes the advantages of digital marketing and illustrates the skills marketing managers should have. The findings outline that marketing strategies should transform towards more ethical and sustainable marketing in accordance with the current changes. The paper concludes by suggesting future studies.

Wastes from plastics are ubiquitous and have become a critical global challenge, especially in Africa. There is an urgent call to combat the menace because of its harmful impact on the ecosystem. The research methodology used is the exploratory technique. Circular economy (CE) is the answer to this global problem, especially in advanced countries. Even though some African countries have commenced recycling waste plastics, which is a contribution to circular economy, the idea is now gaining support in Ghana. The aim of this study is to propose a strategy and design a customized business model canvas for an establishment that transforms different types of waste plastics into pavement slabs and paving tiles in Ghana. The rationale is to accentuate the significance of introducing CE as a tool for effective and efficient plastic waste management in the country.

Employee behavior within the organization is governed by organizational culture, which includes values, beliefs, stories, and symbols. Military organizations preserve the sovereignty of the state. Representing the public image and reputation, organizational culture creates a positive atmosphere for the employees. Undoubtedly, certain military metaphors are applicable in the management context. Hence, the study of military organizational culture is essential. This study intends to conceptualize the concept of military organizational culture. In addition, the study also aims at introducing a working definition of organizational culture in the military context and a tool to measure it. The dimensions identified thorough systematic literature review are values, beliefs, symbols, stories, and heroes, and the study intends to develop an instrument to measure the variable of military organizational culture.

The 21st century comes with a great challenge in terms of sustainable agriculture and food security, which is also a worldwide debated issue due to problems such as population growth, degradation of natural resources including loss of biodiversity and considerable soil degradation, and last but not least, climate change. In fact, climate change poses the greatest threat to agricultural systems and the health of ecosystems and natural balance. The green revolution comes as a lifesaver for the environment, streamlining the allocation of natural resources but at the same time involves huge costs in term of money, time, and labor. Due to the intensive use of fossil fuels, chemical treatments in agriculture, and animal husbandry, environmental problems such as climate change tend to become more pronounced resulting in negative environmental externalities globally. A smart approach to sustainable agriculture is to reinvent and innovate traditional agricultural practices in order to identify ways and possibilities to reduce the risks related to the use of pesticides in close connection with the health of ecosystems.

Rural areas in Romania are underdeveloped, with the main economic activity being agriculture. Urban-rural income gap and poverty levels are indicative of an underdeveloped rural area. Urban-rural absolute income gap for average monthly income increased from 352 RON in 2007 to 663 RON in 2017. Moreover, the work poverty rate is higher in rural areas than in urban areas. Economic rural development can be achieved by improvements of the labour market and introduction of new value-added products. Agricultural and non-agricultural activities are dependent on each other for a successful rural development leading to poverty alleviation. An industry that combines the two types of economic activities is agriculture biomaterial industry. In this paper, the authos investigates the factors influencing rural poverty and analyses the current stage of the bioplastics market in Romania and its economic implications. Bioplastics industry can reduce urban-rural income gaps and poverty in rural areas.

The purpose of this research is to determine the organizational support for professionalism that has never been done before. The research approach is to conceptualize the structure of the relationship of variables from a study. Verification research is to test the hypothesis through data collection in the field using two methods, namely descriptive survey and explanatory survey. The use of both methods aims to analyze the causality relationship between research variables in accordance with the hypothesis quantitatively. There is significant influence between the variables of organizational support to professional variables. However, different results are found on the influence of organizational support variables on OCB and performance that have no significant effect. There is also an indirect influence between organizational support variables on OCB and performance through intermediary intervening professionalism variables. The difference between this research and the previous research are the use of constructs and the measurement in the unit of analysis being used.
