The objective of this paper is to provide an adjustable-speed for belt conveyor, which is used for low power occasions, reducing equipment investment. We adopt three-phase step motor to drive and electromagnetic speed control technology to regulate speed. The paper introduces structure of electromagnetic speed Adjustment belt conveyor, the working principle of open-loop electromagnetic speed Adjustment system and closed-loop electromagnetic speed Adjustment system, connection mode of electromagnetic speed motor. The paper points out the characteristics and applied situation of the electromagnetic speed belt conveyor, compared with frequency speed control equipment with high cost, it is appropriate to choose electromagnetic speed control technology when the power consumption is small.

The dynamic behavior of step motor is of great importance in the field of the developing high performance open-loop system. The dynamic simulation model of a 3-phase reluctance step motor was established on neglecting the mutual inductance between phases and magnetic circuit saturation. The simulation results were verified by the motor characteristic under deferent controller. The characteristics of the motor were analyzed under various operation and load conditions. The work provides an active approach for further designing and controlling the step motor.

This paper was presented a comparative study on the methods of adjusting the speed of a three-phase asynchronous motor with a rotor in a short circuit. For the same structure of the experimental stand used, two programs were created, implemented, and validated in LabVIEW. For the first method, the program in LabVIEW was made with the PI (proportional-integrative) controller and for the second method, the program in LabVIEW was made with the Fuzzy Logic controller. Following the analysis of the resulting graphs, it was found that the speed control system made with the fuzzy logic controller ensures an increase in its performance compared to the speed control system made with the conventional PI type controller. The indicial responses of the adjustment system of the three-phase asynchronous motor speed with PI controller or Fuzzy Logic controller have been determined in real-time by means of the experimental stand. The override of the speed adjustment system is decreased from the value of 26.9% corresponding to the PI controller to the value of 2.3% corresponding to the Fuzzy Logic controller and the duration of the transient time is decreased from the value of 2.2 s related to the PI controller to the value of 0.5 s, related to the Fuzzy Logic controller. By using the Fuzzy Logic controller, the amount of electrical energy required to supply the electric drive system made with a three-phase asynchronous motor will be reduced. This three-phase asynchronous motor speed adjustment algorithm can be implemented for other electric drive systems from different industrial applications.

Designed the control system policy for automobile electric seat using fuzzy control technology, therefore established its control model by Fuzzy Logic Toolbox, and carried on the off-line simulation to choose controller's optimum control parameters. From the dynamic viewpoint, the auto electric seat adjustment system is not only a complex nonlinear function which includes the location of the DC servo motor and the speed, but also contains serious nonlinear coupling interference, so the system is a highly nonlinear strong coupling, variable multivariable system. Application of traditional control methods (such as traditional PID) is difficult to meet its order requirements, so the research is highly robust method of intelligent control is an effective way to solve the problem. Fuzzy control technology has become the field in which drawn greater attention and researched in recent years. It doesn’t depend on the mathematical model of controlled object, has a good robustness, and nonlinear control characteristics, so it is an effective means to control the object with time-varying, non- linear parameters. In this paper, fuzzy control technology to achieve the orders of auto electric seat adjustment control system functions in the Literature [1], and the tracking of the system was simulated.

Implementation and vehicle tests of a vehicle longitudinal control algorithm for stop-and-go cruise control have been performed. The vehicle longitudinal control scheme consists of a set-speed control algorithm, a speed control algorithm, and a distance control algorithm. A desired acceleration for the vehicle for the control of vehicle-to-vehicle relative speed and clearance has been designed using linear quadratic optimal control theory. Performance of the control algorithm has been investigated via vehicle tests. Vehicle tests have been conducted using two test vehicles. A 2000 cm3 passenger car equipped with a radar distance sensor, throttle/brake actuators and a controller has been used as a subject vehicle in the vehicle tests. A millimetre wave radar sensor has been used for distance measurement. A step motor and an electronic vacuum booster have been used for throttle/brake actuators. It has been shown that the implemented vehicle longitudinal control system can provide satisfactory performance in vehicle set-speed control and vehicle clearance control at lower speeds.

This paper introduces the working principle of the research of simulation in the main circuit of Static Var Generator based on Cascade H-Bride and takes the three-phase Static Var Generator based on cascade H-Bride with rated capacity 10kVar,rated voltage 380V for example to proceed the MATLAB simulation. The research shows that the more amount of cascade H-Bride, the more number of output voltage levels in the main circuit of Static Var Generator, the smaller value of voltage waveform distortion factor, and the less harmonic content be inject in electric network, which improves power index.
