In addition to the benefits of added value, water transport can bring many other economic and social benefits. This paper analyzes the outstanding advantages of waterway transport cost, safety, environmental protection and employment. Combined with added value, the paper has built the evaluation model for water transportation economy and comprehensive social interest and taking Chongqing as examples of the application analysis, the empirical results indicate that the model is feasible and valid.

The efficient reclamation of printed circuit board (PCB) is of important significance to environmental protection, optimal configuration of resources and development of circulation economy. In the paper, several important physical mechanical recycling strategies of PCB were analysed, and a cost-profit evaluation model for these recycling strategies was established to evaluate reclamation profit quantitatively. With one specific recycling example, an accurate economic analysis of it was given by the use of the evaluation model. Finally, the best recycling strategy of the mainboard was acquired and some suggestions were given to improve the reclamation economy.

Combined heat and power generation is also called the heating reconstruct project, comprehensive benefit evaluation of heating reconstruction project provide a more scientific basis for project construction and project operation, strengthen scientificalness for decision-making , avoid investing blindly and improve investing returns of the project. To begin with, it is emphasize on the analysis of the project whole, and then established evaluation index system and comprehensive evaluation model based on financial and non-financial data collecting of the project. At the third, evaluating the financial feasibility, project environmental benefit and social benefit evaluation of the heating reconstruction project. Eventually, it comes to a conclusion for a validation of heating reconstruction project feasibility.

The emergence of prefabricated buildings is helpful to solve the problems of serious energy consumption and environmental pollution in traditional cast-in-place buildings. However, the current unclear benefits of prefabricated buildings have led to great constraints on its development in China. Therefore, in order to clarify the comprehensive benefit level of prefabricated buildings and promote the development of prefabricated buildings, the comprehensive benefits of prefabricated buildings are analyzed from four aspects of economy, environment, society, and security, and 19 evaluation indexes of economic benefits, environmental benefits, social benefits, and safety benefits of prefabricated buildings are selected from the life cycle dimension in this paper. The comprehensive benefits of prefabricated buildings are constructed by using set pair analysis theory. Finally, through the analysis of the prefabricated building project in Hefei, the feasibility of the model was verified, and comprehensive benefit level of prefabricated buildings in Hefei was further judged. This paper provides a feasible and operable evaluation model for the comprehensive benefit evaluation of prefabricated buildings and also provides a theoretical support for the development of prefabricated buildings.

Since there are many indexes of a car, we can ?t use a single index to evaluate the performance of a car. In order to fully evaluate the performance of a car, an evaluation index system of the automobile comprehensive performance was constructed from five aspects: dynamic performance, braking performance, operational stability, riding comfort and passing ability, economy and environmental protection. The evaluation model of the automobile comprehensive performance was established based on D-S evidence theory, which was applied to the evaluation of the automobile comprehensive performance based on the data from the questionnaire survey. The result of an analyzed example proved the theory to be effective and feasible.

Abstract Background Bangladesh has one of the highest drowning mortality rates in the world. The use of unregulated water transportation may contribute to this burden, with 38% of all passenger traffic occurring by water. The present study aims to identify provider and end user perception on water transport related drowning risk, and barriers and facilitators for improving water safety practices. Methods A qualitative study was conducted in a riverine area of Bangladesh, the Barishal division. Data was collected through 18 in-depth interviews, two small group discussions and six observations in February–March 2016. Content analysis was conducted, guided by domains of Haddon’s matrix for injury prevention. Results A range of unsafe behaviours, practices and conditions were identified at pre event, event and post event stages of water transport related drownings. It was also recognised it is not only the regulation of water transport but other factors such as occupational insecurities, poor access to rescue services and healthcare, migration and capacity for skill development among providers that contribute to unsafe water transport practices and drowning risk. Conclusion There are some immediate measures that can be implemented, with some monitoring and accountability processes for water transport safety. However, there is need for robust data to quantify transport related drowning, making a case for prioritization and action by relevant stakeholder such as government and transport providers.

Abstract: The biotechnology industry has been the leading industry among various high-tech industries since the mid- and late stage of 20th century and has applied in many fields. Venture investment originates from the same stage. This study evaluated the value of venture investment programs through qualitatively analyzing the venture investment of the biotechnology industry. According to the characteristics of biotechnology industry, a biotechnology industry venture investment assessment indicator system was established firstly. Then a cluster-radial basis function (RBF) neural network comprehensive evaluation model was established. The comprehensive evaluation value of the biotechnology industry venture investment programs was obtained through analyzing the relational expression with regard to biotechnology industry production value and venture investment. The above models and relational expression were verified. The fitting coefficient of the model empirical results suggested that reached 0.912, and the error in the comprehensive evaluation model test was 0.052. The dynamic simulation result ranking was highly identical with the practical operation results. The empirical results of the relational expression suggested every 1% of increase in the logarithmic value of biotechnology industry venture investment could result in 0.727% of increase in the industry program production value. Therefore, the models and relational expression obtained were verified with practical operability and certain accuracy. Venture investment can effectively promote the development of the biotechnology industry and produce positive impact on the development of venture investment in the biotechnology industry in China.
