Modern systems have become increasingly more complex, and their analysis becomes signicantly more complex. Many practical aspects of complex network tools have mainly been applied to critical infrastructure, in particular, to study power systems' resilience. Blackout prevention, system resilience, and restoration consider the ability of the system's self-healing. The self-healing strategies depend, basically, on the existence of extra lines to re-route energy. Some studies suggested that there is an optimum cost-benefit point when adding power lines redundancies to a system considering the systems' resilience. One method to solve this optimisation problem is the use of a metaheuristic algorithm. These algorithms combine exploration and exploitation on the search for a solution. In this paper, a Chu-Beasley genetic algorithm is used to search for the optimum cost-benefit level of redundancy in a system. Thesystem used is from the Repository of Distribution Systems (REDS), and the function used to evaluate the resilience considers an efficiency coecient so that the resilience by cost curve would have a maximum point. This experiment is executed as a topological analysis. The expected results were obtained using estimated curves from Monte-Carlo simulations for a wide range of combination of parameters. The results from three different parameters of efficiency coefficient were compared to the expected values obtained. The results show that there is a best cost-benefit level of redundancy when an efficiency level is determinate. Also, the GA used has excellent performance for finding this point.

Many firms offer employees a broad range of benefits as part of their compensation. However, little attention has been given to the extent to which firms communicate with their employees in relation to such benefits. This study proposes that benefit communication can have both direct and indirect positive effects on employees’ benefit level satisfaction. The effects of benefit communication were examined by means of a survey among 828 employees of different Spanish firms. This study hypothesized and found that benefit communication led to increased benefit level satisfaction. Similarly, this study found that benefit communication can influence benefit level satisfaction through the multiple intermediating effects of employees’ perceived organizational support and employees’ comparison of their benefits with those of referent others. These results imply that academics and practitioners must pay attention to providing adequate benefit communication in order to ensure the effectiveness of benefits.

The emergence of prefabricated buildings is helpful to solve the problems of serious energy consumption and environmental pollution in traditional cast-in-place buildings. However, the current unclear benefits of prefabricated buildings have led to great constraints on its development in China. Therefore, in order to clarify the comprehensive benefit level of prefabricated buildings and promote the development of prefabricated buildings, the comprehensive benefits of prefabricated buildings are analyzed from four aspects of economy, environment, society, and security, and 19 evaluation indexes of economic benefits, environmental benefits, social benefits, and safety benefits of prefabricated buildings are selected from the life cycle dimension in this paper. The comprehensive benefits of prefabricated buildings are constructed by using set pair analysis theory. Finally, through the analysis of the prefabricated building project in Hefei, the feasibility of the model was verified, and comprehensive benefit level of prefabricated buildings in Hefei was further judged. This paper provides a feasible and operable evaluation model for the comprehensive benefit evaluation of prefabricated buildings and also provides a theoretical support for the development of prefabricated buildings.

There is no consensus on the judgment of the adequacy status of the old-age pension benefit in China at present. Therefore, clarification of various types of indicators and benchmarks of pension adequacy is urgently needed. According to the theoretical development of pension adequacy, this paper offers a comprehensive analysis of the benefit level of basic pension from the perspectives of poverty alleviation, income substitution, and financial sustainability. The calculation results based on local administrative data show that the current pension benefit in urban China is unbalanced: on the one hand, the average pension level of self and flexible employees cannot keep track of the local average consumption level or even the relative poverty standard in particular years and the individual replacement rates for a few nonstandard employees are less than the minimum standard of 40% set by the International Labor Organization, which means the pension benefit performs poorly in terms of consumption smoothing. On the other hand, the lifelong pension rights are much higher than the lifelong contribution obligations for new retirees. Under the trend of population ageing, the extremely high benefit–cost ratio means that the current retired generation is eroding the welfare of the current working generations, and the long-term financial sustainability of the pension system is facing challenges. In the future, in order to improve the benefit level of the basic old-age pension system in a sustainable way, we need to increase the average and individual replacement rates and reduce the benefit–cost ratio by consolidating contribution bases and delaying the number of contribution years.

Tourist information in Malang district has not been widely spread on the internet, making it difficult for tourists to determine tourist destination in Malang district that will be visited. Therefore, this recommendation system was built to provide information about tourism in Malang district using the item based collaborative filtering method. The item based collaborative filtering method has the advantage of being able to increase the accuracy of the resulting object recommendations. Results from the questionnaire test that has been done, it is obtained that the tourism recommendation system is useful with the benefit level reaching 86.35% and in the item based collaborative filtering method test using the manual method in Excel and in the system produces the same predictive value namely prediction 1 with a value of 3.562, prediction 2 with a value of 3.287, and prediction 3 with a value of 1.896.

Unemployment insurance is designed to overcome some of the financial problems faced by workers who have been involuntarily terminated from their jobs. The benefit insurance is financed based on the contributory from an employer, employee or government in recent times, some developing countries have been establishing unemployment insurance. This research aims to analyze the unemployment insurance products in Indonesia. Especially to analyze the financial viability of the product. The method used is the equivalence premium principle. Based on data sourced from BPJS Ketenagakerjaan and a claim rate of 10%, it is found that a premium rate of 5% of insured wages would support a benefit level of 50% of the wages for 43 weeks. This premium rate would also support 70% of the wages for 32 weeks. Meanwhile, the premium rate of 1% of the participant wages would guarantee a benefit level of 50% for 6 weeks.
