Macrolide and lincosamide resistance due to the presence of erm (T) have posed a challenge for the treatment of Gram-positive pathogens. Because of the low detection rate of erm (T) gene among the S. suis population due to the fitness cost of the erm (T)-carrying plasmid and ICE, the presence of erm (T) in S. suis and its potential transmission to other Gram-positive pathogens will be of important significance.

Remote sensing activities from satellite are important aspect togain information about earth surface, thus has important significance on military, economic and geology fields. After 1962, the term remote sensing became popular and typically refers     to non-intrusive observation of the Earth using electromagnetic waves from a platform some distance away from the object of study. Remote sensing implies a measurement made by some indirect or “remote” means rather than by a contact sensor. Remote sensing platform of satellite serves the sensing by using sensors. There are two types of sensors active and passive sensors. This article reviews about the sensors which are used for remote sensing of earth from satellite. This article analyses the sensors for sensing purpose and for attitude control of the satellite.

Abstract We report the impact of nonlocal response in metallic nanostructures on four-wave mixing (FWM) process in nonlinear plasmonic metasurfaces which consist of Au nanostrips coupled with Au film spaced by an ultrathin dielectric film. When the dielectric film is linear and FWM only from the Au nanostructures, the FWM efficiency of around two orders of magnitude enhancement is obtained when the nonlocal effect of Au, not the traditionally local Drude model of Au, is considered. However, when the dielectric film is nonlinear and FWM from the Au nanostructures is negligible, the almost half FWM response from the nonlinear metasurface under the nonlocal, not the local model, of Au is confirmed. These results are both ascribed to the different local electric field distributions near the surface of Au nanostructures and in the gap at the local and nonlocal response of Au. The results have an important significance to design ultra-compacted integrated nonlinear optical devices or to explain the experimental measurements of nonlinear response involving plasmonic nanostructures of ultra-small gaps.

The production method of functional silk by feeding the various nanoparticles is simple, it has attracted the attention of many researchers. However, many researchers have studied the concentrate of nanoparticles (NPs), there are few studies on the particle size. This study is aimed to confirm the effects in silkworm growth, cocoon quality, and mechanical properties of silk with feeding TiO2 NPs of the various particle size. TiO2 10nm, 50nm, 100nm powers individually are fed to silkworm, investigated the mortality and proliferation rate, cocoon mass and cocoon shell mass, mechanical characteristic of silk fiber. The experiments demonstrated that the larger the particle size of TiO2 NPs, the greater the adverse impact on the growth and livability of silkworms. The stress of 523.35±42 MPa and strain of 19.73±1.8% of the TiO2-10nm added silk were increased 35.9% and 19.5% on average, respectively. By the analysis of the Fourier transform infrared (FTIR) spectra, it was confirmed that this resulted in a more random coil/?-helix structure. The nanoparticles are acted as knots, forming the cross-linked network, resulting in lower crystallinity and higher strain, but the larger the particle, the fewer the number of knots, at the same time, it has a great impact on protein synthesis, and then the strength may be decreased. The effect in the silkworm body of TiO2 NPs particle size has to be deeply studied, but this study has important significance to study in the production of the functional silk by feed additives.

Fipronil (FPN) is a worldwide-used neurotoxic insecticide, targeting, and blocking GABAA receptors (GABAARs). Beyond its efficiency on insect GABAARs, FPN causes neurotoxic effects in humans and mammals. Here, we investigated the mode of action of FPN on mammalian α6-containing GABAARs to understand its inhibitory effects on GABA-induced currents, as a function of the synaptic or extrasynaptic localization of GABAARs. We characterized the effects of FPN by electrophysiology using Xenopus oocytes which were microtransplanted with cerebellum membranes or injected with α6β3, α6β3γ2S (synaptic), and α6β3δ (extrasynaptic) cDNAs. At micromolar concentrations, FPN dose-dependently inhibited cerebellar GABA currents. FPN acts as a non-competitive antagonist on ternary receptors. Surprisingly, the inhibition of GABA-induced currents was partial for extra-synaptic (α6β3δ) and binary (α6β3) receptors, while synaptic α6β3γ2S receptors were fully blocked, indicating that the complementary γ or δ subunit participates in FPN-GABAAR interaction. FPN unexpectedly behaved as a positive modulator on β3 homopentamers. These data show that FPN action is driven by the subunit composition of GABAARs—highlighting the role of the complementary subunit—and thus their localization within a physiological synapse. We built a docking model of FPN on GABAARs, which reveals two putative binding sites. This is consistent with a double binding mode of FPN on GABAARs, possibly one being of high affinity and the other of low affinity. Physiologically, the γ/δ subunit incorporation drives its inhibitory level and has important significance for its toxicity on the mammalian nervous system, especially in acute exposure.

The fatigue failure mechanism of natural rubber was explained from the point of molecular motion theory and phenomenological theory. The application of test research methods in the study of rubber fatigue microstructure and the influence of environmental factors on the fatigue properties of natural rubber were studied, and the future development direction of natural rubber fatigue was also forecasted.

Abstract High-power tetrode is a key component in ion cyclotron resonance heating system, as the final amplifier component to increase the RF power to the megawatt level. Thermal analysis is of important significance to the development and use of high-power tetrodes. In this paper, the trajectory of particles during the operation of the tetrode is obtained by CST particles studio, and its energy conversion is analyzed through the simulation results. Then the grid, anode, and support structure of the tetrode are analyzed thermally in Ansys Workbench, and the results are helpful to the design of the heat dissipation structure of the tetrode.

: As a traditional Chinese medicine, Shuang-Huang-Lian (SHL) has been widely used for treating infectious diseases of the respiratory tract such as encephalitis, pneumonia and asthma. During the past few decades, considerable research has focused on the pharmacological action, pharmacokinetic interaction with antibiotics and clinical applications of SHL. A huge and more recent body of pharmacokinetic study supports the combination of SHL and antibiotics has different effects such as antagonism and synergism. SHL has been one of the best-selling traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) products. However, there is no system review of SHL preparations, ranging from protection against respiratory tract infections to interaction with antibiotics. Since their important significance in clinical therapy, the pharmacodynamic, pharmacokinetic, and interactions with antibiotics of SHL were reviewed and discussed. In addition, this review attempts to explore the possible potential mechanism of SHL preparations in prevention and treatment of COVID-19. We are concerned about what is known of the effects of SHL against virus, bacterium, and its interactions with antibiotics, providing a new strategy for expanding the clinical research and medication of SHL preparations.

In this paper examines the economic assessment of the investment funds in agriculture, sources and toward of public capital to agricultural activities, forestry and fisheries in Uzbekistan. Also, analyzed a profit taken from farm activity and the assessed public investment funds spent to agricultural activity. Factors impact to farm activity benefits have also been studied. The analysis used data from a social survey conducted on 44 farms in terms of distance not far from each other. It was found that investment funds at a rate of 1% (p <.01) plays a statistically significant role in increasing the profitability of farms from production activities. It is scientifically justified to increase the amount of investment funds involved in the activities of farms by 1 unit, which will increase the amount of income from activities by 22.6%. In the case of an increase in the profit received from the production activities of farms, the investment amount is increased by 1 percent (p<.01) statistically important significance was determined. It is scientifically justified to increase the amount of investment funds involved in the activities of farms by 1 unit, which will increase the amount of income from activities by 22.6%. In this paper, the effect of driving system on working performance of electromagnetic integrated scanning micromirror (ISM) is studied. To further improve the optimization design of the electromagnetic ISM, the detailed theoretical analysis, simulation analysis, and experimental test are carried out, respectively. By changing the force form and external magnetic field of the device, the mechanical scanning angle, driving voltage, and resonant frequency of the electromagnetic ISM will be changed accordingly, and then the change of the working performance of the ISM is explored. Through the optimization analysis and comparative test, the optimal design scheme of driving system is obtained, and the effect of driving system on the working performance of the electromagnetic ISM is verified. The experimental results show that by optimizing the structure of the driving system, the mechanical scanning angle of the electromagnetic ISM is increased by about 20%, and the driving voltage is decreased about 10% observably, and the working performance of the electromagnetic ISM is significantly improved. The research results have important significance and practical application value for the extended application of the electromagnetic ISM in the field of optical detection.
