In order to improve the supervision of TV commercials and reduce the illegal ones, it is necessary to develop a system to detect TV commercials in real time. One of the key points is to detect video shot changes. We put forward a novel method of image matching for shot change detection: firstly, a feature coding is introduced for describing image local gray level distribution; secondly, image matching is performed according to the feature coding; thirdly, shot changes can be detected. A preliminary system of video shot change detection is developed. Experiments show that the algorithm is better than traditional algorithms and can well meet the need of TV Video shot cut detection.

A short prologue to the historical backdrop of endoscopy we outline the distinctive strategies which exist to perform endoscopic techniques. Medicinal endoscope creature has the attributes as very exactness, utilitarian adaptability and cost effectiveness, which makes it the aide of therapeutic, analyze and additionally the establishment of long-remove transmission of restorative pictures .In this paper, real time endoscopic optical rationality tomography (EOCT) imaging framework. A few mechanical advancements are presented that enhance EOCT proficiency and execution. By utilizing EOCT framework, clinical investigations in first stage the throat, intestine, duodenum, ileum, colon, and rectum of patients with typical endoscopic discoveries were inspected. Tiny structures, for example, organs, veins, pits, awful, and graves were likewise watched. The mutilation of medicinal picture, for example, fluffy key points of interest of tissues might show up affected by the intertwining filtering innovation, which may cause misdiagnoses. De-interweaving system to kill mutilation is basic. At last, as indicated by the significant reason of picture intertwining twisting in medicinal endoscope framework, versatile de-joining calculation is utilized to wipe out the mutilation with.

In order to improve the robustness and real time performance of SURF based image matching algorithms, a new descriptor is proposed. We compute the new descriptor in a rectangle local region (the side set to 20s). Firstly, the local region is divided into 8 equal triangle subregion. Secondly, local region location grid is rotated to align its dominate orientation to a canonical direction. The keypoint dominate orientation and its orthogonalorientation is defined as the x and y directions of the descriptors local coordinate system.Thirdly, compute the Haar wavelet response in x and y directions within the keypoint local region. In order to reduce the boundary effect and outer noise, Haar wavelet response in the same Grid of different triangle is both assigned to each triangle in different weight, and then a gaussian weighting function is used. Compute the histogram of Haar wavelet response and absolute Haar wavelet response, so each triangle subregion constitutes a vector with 4 dimensions. Finally, a descriptor with 32 dimensions is constituted and the descriptor is normalized to achieve illumination invariance. The experimental results show that the performance of the new descriptor is even better than SURF descriptor.

Planning path rapidly and optimally is one of the key technologies for industrial manipulators. A novel method based on Memory-Goal-Biasing–Rapidly-exploring Random Tree is proposed to solve high-dimensional manipulation planning more rapidly and optimally. The tree extension of Memory-Goal-Biasing–Rapidly-exploring Random Tree can be divided into random extension and goal extension. In the goal extension, the nodes extended to the goal are recorded in a memory, and then the node closest to the goal is selected in the search tree excepting the nodes in the memory for overcoming the local minimum. In order to check collisions efficiently, the manipulator is simplified into several key points, and the obstacle area is appropriately enlarged for safety. Taking the redundant manipulator of Baxter robot as an example, the proposed algorithm is verified through MoveIt! software. The results show that Memory-Goal-Biasing–Rapidly-exploring Random Tree only takes a few seconds for the path planning of the redundant manipulator in some complex environments, and within an acceptable time, its optimization performance is better than that of traditional optimal method in terms of the obtained path costs and the corresponding standard deviation.

How does a theatrical tradition emerge in the fields of dramatic writing and artistic performance? Can a culture, in which theatre played no part in the past, create a theatrical tradition in real time—and how? What was the contribution of classical Greek drama to the evolution of Israeli theatre? How do political and social conditions affect the encounter between cultures—and what role do they play in creating a theatre with a distinctive identity? This book, the first of its kind, attempts to answer these and other questions, by examining the reception of classical Greek drama in the Israeli theatre over the last seventy years. It deals with dramatic and aesthetic issues while analysing translations, adaptations, new writing, mise-en-scène, and ‘post dramatic’ performances of classical Greek drama that were created and staged at key points of the development of Israeli culture amidst fateful political, social, and cultural events in the country’s history.

A multipath is a major error source in bridge deformation monitoring and the key to achieving millimeter-level monitoring. Although the traditional MHM (multipath hemispherical map) algorithm can be applied to multipath mitigation in real-time scenarios, accuracy needs to be further improved due to the influence of observation noise and the multipath differences between different satellites. Aiming at the insufficiency of MHM in dealing with the adverse impact of observation noise, we proposed the MHM_V model, based on Variational Mode Decomposition (VMD) and the MHM algorithm. Utilizing the VMD algorithm to extract the multipath from single-difference (SD) residuals, and according to the principle of the closest elevation and azimuth, the original observation of carrier phase in the few days following the implementation are corrected to mitigate the influence of the multipath. The MHM_V model proposed in this paper is verified and compared with the traditional MHM algorithm by using the observed data of the Forth Road Bridge with a seven day and 10 s sampling rate. The results show that the correlation coefficient of the multipath on two adjacent days was increased by about 10% after residual denoising with the VMD algorithm; the standard deviations of residual error in the L1/L2 frequencies were improved by 37.8% and 40.7%, respectively, which were better than the scores of 26.1% and 31.0% for the MHM algorithm. Taking a ratio equal to three as the threshold value, the fixed success rates of ambiguity were 88.0% without multipath mitigation and 99.4% after mitigating the multipath with MHM_V. The MHM_V algorithm can effectively improve the success rate, reliability, and convergence rate of ambiguity resolution in a bridge multipath environment and perform better than the MHM algorithm.

This study assesses the performance of satellite precipitation products (SPPs) from the latest version, V06B, Integrated Multi-satellitE Retrievals for Global Precipitation Mission (IMERG) Level-3 (including early, late, and final runs), in depicting the characteristics of typhoon season (July to October) rainfall over Taiwan within the period of 2000–2018. The early and late runs are near-real-time SPPs, while final run is post-real-time SPP adjusted by monthly rain gauge data. The latency of early, late, and final runs is approximately 4 h, 14 h, and 3.5 months, respectively, after the observation. Analyses focus on the seasonal mean, daily variation, and interannual variation of typhoon-related (TC) and non-typhoon-related (non-TC) rainfall. Using local rain-gauge observations as a reference for evaluation, our results show that all IMERG products capture the spatio-temporal variations of TC rainfall better than those of non-TC rainfall. Among SPPs, the final run performs better than the late run, which is slightly better than the early run for most of the features assessed for both TC and non-TC rainfall. Despite these differences, all IMERG products outperform the frequently used Tropical Rainfall Measuring Mission 3B42 v7 (TRMM7) for the illustration of the spatio-temporal characteristics of TC rainfall in Taiwan. In contrast, for the non-TC rainfall, the final run performs notably better relative to TRMM7, while the early and late runs showed only slight improvement. These findings highlight the advantages and disadvantages of using IMERG products for studying or monitoring typhoon season rainfall in Taiwan.
