In order to study the impact of vehicle attitude changes on stability, vehicle attitude control simulation model based on soft and hard damping characteristics was built. The model was applied to simulate vehicle straight driving and turning driving, thus simulating various vehicle attitudes in driving. The simulation results show that this model was correct and the control algorithm was feasible; the damping impact on a variety of vehicle attitudes in the driving process can be simulated in advance by adjusting the damping; and the changes of soft and hard damping adjustable shock absorber damping can effectively change the vehicle riding comfort and handling stability.

In this paper we consider the problem of Kelly betting on simultaneous games, and the relative performance of betting strategies that use multibets compared to those that do not. We develop a simulation model based on the Dirichlet distribution to test the performance of three Kelly betting strategies using the empirical odds distribution from the 2007-08 English Premier League Season. This model allows us to control for the size of a bettor’s edge and the noise of this edge. The simulation results suggest that the Kelly using multibets of all levels outperforms the portfolio optimisation approach of betting on single game outcomes only. We also provide a discussion regarding the practicalities of implementing the strategies.

In order to predict the impact of wastewater from an aluminum plant treatment station on the groundwater environment under abnormal conditions (i.e., sewage leakage accident). Through the investigation of hydrogeological conditions, and then the permeability coefficient of the aquifer was measured through borehole injection tests. Finally, the groundwater pollution transport halo was obtained by numerical simulation based GMS software. The simulation results showed that the groundwater aquifer will be seriously polluted by COD and fluoride (F-) after the sudden sewage seepage accident. What’s more, the simulation results showed that the pollution concentration is getting higher and higher with time, which is analyzed to be caused by the small permeability of the water-bearing medium in the aquifer and the groundwater flow field was supported by seawater tide.

Abstract This article intends a hybrid energy harvesting shock absorber design which comprehends energy harvesting of automobile suspension vibration dissipation. A mathematical model of the energy harvesting prototype is established, and simulation results show that the dissipation energy can be recovered by varying the feed module, thereby got the damping forces ratio at different compression and extension stroke. The energy conversion from hydraulic energy to mechanical energy mainly then mechanical energy converted into electrical energy furthermore we can rechange our battery from this recovered energy. The advanced mathematical model and prototype proposed maximum ride comfort meanwhile recovered the suspension energy and fuel saving. This article shows the simulation results verifying it with prototype test results. The damping force of expansion stroke is higher than the damping force of compression stroke. The damping characteristics curves and speed characteristics curves verify the validity by simulation and prototyping damper at different amplitudes of off-road vehicles. The Hydraulic Electromagnetic Regenerative Shock Absorber (HESA) prototype characteristic is tested in which 65 watts recovered energy at 1.67 Hz excitation frequency. So, 14.65% maximum energy recovery efficiency got at 20 mm rod diameter and 8 cc/rev motor displacement. The damping characteristics of the HESA prototype examined and it has ideal performance as the standard requirements of the National Standard QC/T 491–1999.

Basing on the fact that requirements for shift quality in automatic transmissions have been increasing rapidly necessitates the establishment of a suitable shifting control strategy in order to facilitate smoothness of different processes, this paper introduces a simulation model of an 8-speed automatic transmission for front-drive vehicles with respect to detailed shifting strategies and relative parameters. The transmitted torque of the oncoming shift elements before synchronization point can be reduced by an impact function in order to damp the impact and thus make the gear shifting process more smooth. This paper makes a systematic introduction of the structure of 8AT, theoretical basis of control strategy, the establishment of the simulation model and the comparison between test results and simulation results. The conclusion shows that with an accurate dynamic model, simulation results and test results are neighborhood data, the simulation model can be used to help realizing the ultimate goal of better shift quality with higher efficiency, lower shift loads and improved shifting comfort.

This paper explains and demonstrates how to construct integration simulation model of exavtor operator based on modelica language. The paper firstly introduce the history of modelic language and application in production design; secondly the paper construct exavtor operator dynamics model by D-H method and construct operator’s modelica model by dymola soft; then the paper analyse the hydraulic system of operator, and construct hydraulic simulation model which integrate to operator mechanism system; at last the paper gives simulation results of vauious operating mode. Because of consideration in coordination of mechanism and hydraulic of operator, the simulation results approach actual working process, and improve the exavtor’s design efficiency and reliability.

This paper presents a comprehensive investigation of automotive semi-active suspension control algorithms and compares their characteristics in terms of ride comfort and tire-road holding ability. Particular attention has been paid to the semi-active suspension systems fitted with a shock absorber of dual damping characteristics. Different mathematical models are presented to investigate the ride response considering both simplified and complex vehicle models. Numerical simulation has been carried out through the MATLAB/SIMULINK environment which aids the future development of controllable suspension systems to improve vehicle ride comfort. The results show a considerable improvement of the vehicle ride response using different schemes of semi-active suspension system in particular the modified groundhook control algorithm.

According to the special structure of DCT, the control strategy of launch with two clutches has been proposed to share the friction work and extend the life of both clutches. The dynamic model of launch with two clutches and the clutch control model have been built. the control strategies of both clutches have been proposed respectively according to the requirement of the different driver intention and the limitation of the impact of vehicle. The simulation model of launch with two clutches has been built using the Matlab/Simulink platform, and the simulation has been carried out. The Simulation results show that the balance of friction work based on this launch strategy with two clutches has been validated.
