According to the requirements of remote monitoring for TV transmitting station, present a SMS based centralized monitoring solution. In this solution, the GSM network and Ethernet was combined together, and remote monitoring was achieved through GSM short message service. Introduced the total structure of the system, described the software designs of the device agent and the message server, as well as the communication protocols between each components.

The equipments in computer rooms are complicated in nature. Many factors may influence their normal operations, for example: voltage, temperature, humidity, and the normalcy of systems. It would be prudent to have a monitoring system to prevent from unpredictable problems. Most monitoring systems in the market can only issue alarms in abnormal situations and then analyze the aftermath. They are also expansive and lack the ability for distant instant control. To tackle this problem, after our successful and practical experiments, we utilize GSM text messaging ability (i.e. SMS, short message service) and make distant monitoring possible. The monitoring system is established with a reasonable price that is well below current market. With this system, the manager/administrator can monitor the real-time status of equipments in computer rooms, send control commands through SMS and then get them executed to solve the problems instantly and effectively.

Short Message Service (SMS) is a technology that provides service for sending and receiving messages between cell phones. Every individual, government, private or educational institution cannot be separated from using SMS as one of the information media. One of them is meeting notification information. But SMS technology can only carry limited data. SMS Gateway is a system that bridges mobile phones with the system that becomes a server with SMS as the information. In the SMS Gateway work system, the user's cellular phone sends an SMS containing the written format to access the information needed through the GSM network. The SMS will be received by the SMS Gateway cellular phone which will then be retrieved by the PC using the mfbus protocol via a data cable. Up to the PC, the text format will be processed by the SMS Gateway application program to produce information that will be sent to the SMS Gateway cellular phone using the mfbus protocol via a data cable. After that the information is sent by the SMS Gateway cellular phone to the user's cellular phone. With the SMS Gateway-based meeting notification application, it can provide detailed and concurrent notification of meeting information so that each meeting member can follow according to his schedule.

The development of Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) technology makes it easier for a user to monitor a room. However, the use of CCTV still cannot reach all levels of society due to the price is relatively expensive. Therefore, it is necessary to build a new system that has the same features as CCTV devices in general but at a more affordable price. This system was built using the OpenWRT operating system. The operating system will be installed on a wireless router with several additional tools to support its functionality such as speakers, GSM modems, webcams, and flash drives. The resulting system has the ability to detect movement and store images and videos when suspicious movements are detected. In addition, this system also has several other features such as alarm alerts, Short Message Service (SMS) warnings, user email reports, and easy access via WIFI and the internet.

Kondisi tersebut menimbulkan atau mengundang tindak kejahatan.Dalam dunia Information Technology (IT) segala upaya dilakukan dengan membuat berbagai macam eksperimen, guna membuat suatu sistem yang baru dan semakin mempermudah kerja sistem tersebut. Diantaranya ada suatu sistem pemantau atau monitoring system menggunakan kamera.Sistem Pemantau adalah suatu sistem yang dapat mengawasi segala aktivitas atau kegiatan yang terjadi pada suatu ruangan atau daerah tertentu yang dianggap penting untuk dijaga keamanannya, sehingga dalam penelitian ini dibuataplikasi pengembangansmartcamberbasis auto motion detectdan Sms Alertdengan tujuan untuk memanfaatkan? image dan video capturing agar bisa mengontrol keadaan rumah tanpa harus selalu ada di dalam rumah. Aplikasi smartcam dibangun menggunakan perangkat lunak sistem operasi windows 7 ultimatedan bahasa pemrograman Visual Basic.Net 2010.Hasil penelitian ini adalah aplikasi smartcam berbasis auto motion detect dan sms agar dapat menjaga keamanan rumah saat pemilik sedang tidak berada di tempat serta mengantisipasi dengan cara mengetahui tindak kejahatan lebih dini.Kata Kunci:Smartcam, Auto Motion Detect, SMS Alert[En]Modern life is affecting an increasing human activity more often leave the house . In the world of Information Technology ( IT ) every effort was made to create a wide range of experiments , in order to create a new system and further simplify the system works . Among them there is a monitoring system or monitoring system using a camera .Monitoring System is a system that can oversee all activities or events that occur in a particular room or area that is considered essential to safeguard , so in this study were made based application development SmartCam auto detect movement and SMS Alert with the aim to utilize image and video capturing in order to control the state of the house without having to always be in the house . SmartCam applications built using the software windows 7 operating system and programming language Visual Basic Net 2010.The aim of this research is to build the SmartCam applications to detect motion and sending the alert through sms? while the owner was not in place and anticipate crime by identifying it early .
