Maintenance training of airborne electronic equipment is the guarantee of working orderly for the airplane. The best choice of maintenance training is using real electronic equipment so that high training cost and potential damage to normally working equipment exist. To reduce the training cost and risk, a virtual maintenance training system of airborne electronic equipment is designed and implemented using virtual reality technology. The architecture of this virtual training system is given. In this architecture, three-dimensional model of electronic equipment is implemented by 3DMax software, and GL Studio software is used to create the operation response of all manipulations. Signal models based on multi signals flaw graph is used to simulate various faults. Finally, the application of this virtual maintenance training system in daily aircraft maintenance training show good training efficiency.

In view of the problems of long training cycle, big loss, low frequency and high costs exists in traditional assembly repair training, this article builds a three-dimensional virtual training environment and a training method combined presentation and interaction using virtual reality technology. This application enables trainees to learn the WS2400A2 type special equipment chassis assembly repair knowledge on personal computer. This application not only can improve the training quality and efficiency, shorten the training cycle, save training funds and reduce equipment loss, also, has the advantages of safety, are not affected by the conditions of use and environmental restrictions.

In order to better solving the problem of electronic equipment maintenance training, promoting the level of management and usage to electronic equipment. The design method of virtual maintenance training system for electronic equipment is discussed in this paper based on virtual reality technology. Simulation results show that the system can well implement virtual maintenance training for the electronic equipment, and has certain reference value to develop other relevant system.

Abstract UAV-borne missile is effective weapon to attack enemy ground targets. It is expensive, costly and difficult to live-fire drill. Using virtual training instead of actual training can greatly improve the training efficiency and the combat effectiveness. The article regards the operation training of a certain type of UAV-borne missile shooting training as the research object, based on the development of a visual simulation system for UAV-borne missile, uses the object-oriented design method to design a virtual training system based on LabVIEW. The system can realize the shooting operation training of trainees in a virtual environment, and achieve the goals of reduce training costs; improve training efficiency and shorten training period.

According to the current status of maintenance training, a framework of desktop virtual maintenance training platform was proposed on the basis of the NGRAIN ,making full use of advanced CAD technology and virtual reality technology. At last take the dump trucks as example, which proved that equipment virtual maintenance training can largely improve the cost-effectiveness of the maintenance training. The platform is a portable, economical solution for maintenance training, which not only can meet the needs of the training mission, but also provide a reference for the other virtual maintenance training system. In the future, the platform will have a very important practical significance and broad application prospects.

Gas shield Tungsten Arc Welding (GTAW) is an important process method in material processing. Welding quality is vital for the product quality. It is an important way to improve the quality of product by raising the personal capability and handling technique of the welder. In this investigation, because of the deficiency in classic welding training scheme, some new technology were introduced into classic welding training field to improve the efficiency of welding training and reduce training cost. A computer simulation system that can be used to train primary welders was developed combined with three-dimensional stereoscopic vision and API interface of OpenGL, virtual reality is the kernel technology. In this system, welders were trained not in the real operating environment but in the virtual environment where has experience personally effect that simulated by computer. There is unnecessary with welding material and welding energy in virtual environment simulated by computer. It has highly automatic and intelligent and lower required to welding teachers. It is healthy to welder because that intensive arc and harmful dust are disappeared in virtual environment. It is a lower cost and high efficiency method by use of virtual training system to training new welder.

In combination landslide evaluation with three-dimensional visualization of geographic information system and using virtual reality technology to build a 3D visualization platform for landslide assessment, as a whole, it is more vivid and intuitive synthesis of landslide visualization research. Based on the design principle of the analysis on system separately from the data acquisition and processing for construction of three-dimensional model, the landslide process rehearsal, stages of disaster evaluation and other aspects of the system are analyzed and studied, which provides a powerful tool for the study and prevention of geological disaster. Processing technologies of superfine wood powder is a new field for wood the industry, while a new research direction is added for the wood industry. Grinding equipments for superfine wood powder is one key device for superfine wood powder production, and it plays an important role during processing superfine wood powder. Cutting and grinding methods with both semi-enclosed and two-cycle characteristics are used, there are three kinds of screen with various specifications inside the grinding room, and three kind of wood powder with different granularity requirements. Virtual reality technology is introduced into the wood powder pulverizer with multi-granularity designed, and both three-dimensional model of wood powder pulverizer with multi-granularity and the visual system for enhanced wood pulverizer are built. Virtual design technology can not only reduce product development cost greatly for the wood powder pulverizer but also shorten product development cycle for the wood powder pulverizer greatly, and there has vital significance to save manufacture cost.

This paper dissertates the application of Virtual Reality Technology in the training process. Virtual training system has more advantages than traditional training system. The design of virtual training system based on PTC DIVISION Mockup software, position tracker and 3-D mouse is proposed. The system is divided into two parts: directing part and operating part. The directing part is mainly implemented by Functional Simulation structure in DIVISION Mockup. The operating part is realized by virtue of the third-party plug-ins, which connects peripherals with the virtual reality system. This system is applied to the training process of hydraulic pump cart’s assembly and disassembly. More immersive training effect is obtained in this system. The goal of reducing training costs and improving the efficiency of training can be achieved in the virtual training system.
