In the manufacturing process of artificial diamond micro powder, if tungsten steel pressure hammer of diamond press makes a tungsten steel hammer pressure crack due to fatigue of workpiece, it is always leading to significant economic losses. The pressure hammer detection and protection device of the diamond press introduced in this paper takes advantage of the voiceprint recognition technology. Firstly, it extracts the characteristic parameters of pressure hammer breaking voice and establishes a sound pressure hammer breaking template library. And then, the paper compares the work field sound characteristic parameters of diamond press and pressure hammer breaking template library. If they are consistent with each other, the work power of diamond press will be cut down. Thus, it implements protection for the rest good pressure hammers.

The flow past 3D rigid cavity is a common structure on the surface of the underwater vehicle. The hydrodynamic noise generated by the structure has attracted considerable attention in recent years. Based on LES-Lighthill equivalent sources method, a 3D cavity is analyzed in this paper, when the Mach number is 0.0048. The hydrodynamic noise and the radiated mechanism of 3D cavity are investigated from the correlation between fluctuating pressure and frequency, the near-field sound pressure intensity, and the propagation directivity. It is found that the hydrodynamic noise is supported by the low frequency range, and fluctuating pressure of the trailing-edge is the largest, which is the main dipole source.

SCADA is the technology that allows the operator to gather data from one or more various facilities and to send control instructions to those facilities.  This paper represents an adaptable and low cost SCADA system for a particular sugar manufacturing process, by using Programmable Logic Controls (Siemens s7-1200, 1214Dc/ Dc/ Rly). The system will control and monitor the laboratory production line chose from sugar industry. The project comprises of two sections the first one is the hardware section that has been designed, and built using components suitable for making it for laboratory purposes, and the second section was the software as the PLC programming, designing the HMI, creating alarms and trending system. The system will have two HMI screens according to the two operating states of system (Automatic and Manual), the operator can choose between them by a selector switch, this method helps the operators when fixing a failure and wanting to check it without operating all the process. The result has accomplished the goals of controlling, the parameters (temperature, flow, humidity) were monitored, failure was detected by an alarm.

A biomechanical system is proposed for the emulation of the movement of human arm, leg, and spine movements, as an industry alternative to manage heavy operations in a manufacturing process. The Matlab® programming environment is used as a simulation tool for the analysis and validation of this proposed biomechanism. This machine would reduce the accidents due to human exposure to risky industry environments like the particular one at the host company that we are using as a model for our research. They claim that the accidents in this area alone arise to around thirty percent of the total, causing a decrease in the productivity of the company and other economic losses derived from the worker injuries and insurances.

Abstract Mechanization of the process of core making with the use of inorganic and organic binders is based, almost solely, on core blowing machines. Presently the core blowing machines are equipped with tools and devices that allow for application of different technologies of core making. Cold-box, hot-box and warm-air technologies require that core blowing machines shall be additionally equipped with either core-box pre-heating system or gas purging and neutralization system, or hot air purging systems. Considering the possibility of using varied, the most advantageous technologies of core making, the production of universal core blowing machines equipped with replaceable devices has been undertaken in Poland. The universal core blowing systems allow for mechanization of core making process also with the use of sand, bonded by modern, eco-friendly binder systems. The paper presents selected results-based evaluation of core blowing process showing the scope of conducted design and implementation works.

When the upper parts of coal resources are exploited, the mining overburden separated strata may easily connect with the upper unconsolidated aquifers. This may cause the water-sand two-phase fluids in the aquifers to flow underground through the falling broken rock mass. It has been found that it is difficult to eliminate sand after it has entered a mine, which tends to severely restrict the restorations of mines and causes significant economic losses. This paper studied a seepage system dynamic model of water-sand two-phase fluids in broken rock mass based on related two-phase flow theories. In addition, using FORTRAN language, it established a numerical calculation program to study the migration law of water-sand two-phase fluids flowing into broken rock mass and determined the main influencing factors on the seepage characteristic parameters of water-sand two-phase fluids in broken rock mass and the amounts of sand losses.
