Design and Implementation of DDFS Based on CORDIC in FPGA

DDFS is widely used in digital signal processing and communications. Orthogonal sine wave oscillator is the main part of DDFS. In this paper, a new CORDIC algorithm implemented based on FPGA is proposed to realize DDFS. Replace the traditional look-up table ROM method to CORDIC algorithm. The algorithm has been realized in the FPGA using the pipeline architecture. The design has the advantages of little hardware resource consumption, high accuracy, and without memory. At the end, give a simulation waveform and spectrum analysis by AD converter, show the result in oscilloscope.

This paper describes the hardware structure framework of portable ECG acquisition device based on Bluetooth and 3G, focusing on hardware selection and various function modules design and implementation. ECG acquisition by the terminal node of the analog signal will be collected through the AD converter to a digital signal, using the Bluetooth technology to transmit the digital signal to the monitoring center, then store the ECG data at the same time analysis the ECG signal for the real-time.

Simple multimeter can not measure True RMS of power frequency if there mixed harmonic components. In order to solve this problem, a method is adopted to design a measurement system by using STC Single Chip Microcomputer (SCM). It changes current into voltage by using I/V conversion circuit. Then analog signal turns into digital signal through AD converter. Finally, the Single Chip Microcomputer treats and calculates the data by the RMS algorithm. Sampling frequency of the system is set as 6400sps by Single Chip Microcomputer. This kind of designment uses software instead of hardware and reduces the costs. The realization of the system shows the validation and transportability of the algorithm. The testing data show that this system can measure True RMS of power frequency. The relative full scale error is smaller than 1.284%.

The ship electric field has become a new physical field which is widely concerned at home and abroad in recent years. For the research of ship electric field, one of the most effective methods is to measure it underwater. According to the analysis of ship electric field signal’s characteristics, the ship electric field measurement system based on MSP430F149 was designed and the key technologies of software and hardware were also presented in this paper. The results of experiment demonstrated that the system could effectively measure the ship electric field signal in a low SNR. Meanwhile, it has the advantages of low power consumption, high accuracy and credible.

The precision raster-forming systems creation and development must be based on research in the specific work environment. In not ideal metrological conditions the precision raster-forming system allows to achieve high accuracy of the calibration, when used dynamic calibration method.The paper analyzes the possibility of analytical modeling of one main part (steel tape displacement measuring unit) of precise raster forming systems. In the work, a linear mechanical model of steel tape was applied to the load. The work described the equation, which describes the steel tape deformation model under loads with boundary conditions.
