In order to solve the problems such as low production capacity, high production costs and insufficient resources utilization in Wulongquan mine, the method of grey correlation analysis has been adopted to analyze the main affecting factors about mine production cost. Considering the changes and tendency of these time sequences, grey absolute correlation degree has been used to reflect the strong-weak degrees and orders of the relationship between reference sequence and comparison sequences better based on non-dimensional values. According to the calculating results, labor cost, depreciation cost and materials cost is main factors. So some appropriate measures have been put forward to control total cost.

In the process of decision on technical solution to vapor recovery of refined oil terminals, the grey-correlation analysis (GCA) is introduced to optimise technical solutions by building a multi-target decision model and using the sequencing of weighted grey-correlation degree (GCD) of evaluation solution as judgment criteria, to determine the priorities of solutions, and the effectiveness of the decision method is verified by a practical example.

With application of intelligence technology in the manufacturing industry, the supply chain of manufacturing industry is more and more competitive. Strategic supplier is becoming more and more key element for the success of manufacturing enterprise. At present, there are many methods on selection and evaluation of strategic supplier of manufacturing enterprise. Analytical hierarchy process and grey correlation analysis is method which is used to choose strategic supplier of manufacturing enterprise by building optimum reference date and solving grey correlation degree. These have great effects in the enterprise practice in the aspects of qualitative diagnosis, quantitative diagnosis and grey information processing.

We have surveyed the planting cost data and the yield data of wheat farmers in Shandong province in 2012. To analyze the effect of wheat planting cost for production, these data were divided into two groups according to their needs: with labor cost and none labor cost. Respectively using MATLAB software to the simulation calculation of the two groups of data, the conclusion is as follows. Regardless of labor investment, seeds investment costs and the pesticides investment costs have great effect to the wheat yield in Shandong Province.

The existing grey relational clustering method has limitations in the application of multidimensional sequences and cannot directly calculate the grey correlation degree between unequal-length sequences. In this paper, by introducing the multidimensional dynamic DTW distance into the existing 3D grey relational model, a new grey relational analysis model that can be applied to multidimensional data is proposed, which is based on DTW distance. The model does not require one-to-one correspondence of data points but evaluates the similarity of its geometric curves by calculating the shortest distance between sequences. In addition, since the traditional grey correlation clustering method is implemented, the method first extracts the reference sequence from the observation sequence and then calculates the similarity between the observation objects by calculating the grey correlation degree between each sequence and the reference sequence, so each object only needs to be calculated once. The experimental results show that the multidimensional grey correlation degree based on DTW distance and the grey relational clustering model oriented to multidimensional data are more accurate than other existing methods. Finally, the grey relation clustering method of multidimensional data is used to analyze the multiobjective human resource grey relational clustering model under time constraints, and the validity of the model is verified.

Energy consumption for today's transport airports is a complex system by a number of factors, and the research on energy efficiency assessment methods for transport airports is still in the initial stage at present. Energy efficiency evaluation index system for transport airports has been established. Analytic Hierarchy Process and Grey Correlation Analysis is applied to make a comprehensive evaluation to the energy consumption of transport airports. As a result, the potential for sustainable development of the airports has been dig out and some viable energy-saving measures has been found out.

In order to determine the main related factors affecting the wharf safety, this paper presents a model using the grey correlation analysis process to give a quantitative analysis about accidents in petrochemical wharf. Based on the statistics of wharf accidents in a petrochemical wharf of Tianjin Port from 2008 to 2012, the study analyzes four main accidents and related causes that take place in a petrochemical wharf. The grey correlation degree of the factors are calculated and analyzed including human factor, no emergency measures, equipment damage, poor management, environmental factor in petrochemical wharf, respectively. The result shows that the main causes of accidents are operation against rules and poor management in petrochemical wharf, and operation against rules is the most important factor. The application of grey correlation analysis gives a quantitative analysis to the degree affected by different factors so that wharf accidents can be avoided by taking effective measures.

With the development of new energy and flexible load, there are many kinds of power and load characters in the power grid. It’s necessary to considerate the similarity between generation output and load when it’s market clearing. First, similarity analysis of generation-load curve based on the grey correlation degree is introduced, correlation between power generation enterprises and power users can be calculated. Then, market clearing model is built. market clearing mechanism is set which considering the matching degree between generation and load. The technological process of market clearing is given. Last, the effectiveness of the proposed clearing model is verified by an example.

Accurate assessment for the operational status of the transformer bushing is not only a prerequisite for the implementation of condition-based maintenance, but also to ensure the normal operation of the transformer and the whole power equipment conditions. In the paper, a model of weight absolute grey correlation degree was used to assess the transformer bushing state. Firstly, determined the assessment indicators and handled them. Secondly, the weights, correlation coefficients and each association were calculated. Thirdly, to compare the largest association of assessment indicators in grades as the transformer bushing final run state. Finally, give the state assessment results, according to the remark set. The result shows the model works well.
