With the development of information and communication technology and the advent of new technologies including wireless communication, smart handheld mobile terminals and wearable medical sensor detection technology, mobile medical care is facing its development opportunity. In this context, our medical monitoring system combines wireless communication technology with wearable medical sensor and designs a remote medical monitoring of multiple physiological parameters. With the support of Android devices, this system offers medical reports retrieval, online diagnosis and health guidelines. It provides users with multi-functional, instant, real-time monitoring and interactive medical services in a high efficient low cost way, which enables remote interrogation and medical care become possible.

As Developing Nations seek to leverage scarce resources toward the goal of achieving a developed status they must reevaluate past practices and explore available and affordable technologies. Where information and communication infrastructures are weak, use of low-cost, easily distributed technologies have proven effective. Still, many developing nations have failed to incorporate a resource in great abundance, their women, to use these new technologies to greatest advantage. This paper will address the implications of women’s lack of economic and educational parity, and offer examples of how the education of women through the use of information and communication technology can enhance a nation’s gross domestic product (GDP).

With the development of wireless communication technology and mechanical technology, the combination application of the two technologies to agricultural production has become the inevitable trend of agricultural development. Using Nx5883 wireless remote control terminal, a greenhouse environment monitoring system based on GPRS has been designed. It introduces the composition of hardware and working process of the system. The system can monitor the change of temperature and humidity in environment and soil, soil’s PH, and illumination timely. It transmits the signals and dates to the data terminal though wireless network, then the terminal can make the corresponding feedback. This system can real-time monitor and control the greenhouse environment.

The ZigBee which was adopted low-power wireless communication technology was used to design a multi-parameters monitoring system according to agricultural monitoring characteristics. Following the design concepts of generalization and modularization, the sensors and functional modules could be combined configuration, thus the system was versatility, flexible and convenient. Low-power communication protocol and solar charging technology were adopted to extend the life of power supply. This system could be widely used for automatic monitoring in facility agriculture and other agricultural places.

In the technology of temperature measurement, the sensor is an important part of system. But with the increase of the number of sensors, it will undoubtedly bring with a lot of data cable. Compared with wired communication technology, wireless communications technology has the advantages of low cost, simple structures, low impact of environment. So the wireless communication technology meeting with the requirements of data communications has become a more practical, fast and efficient way. This paper describes a multi-channel temperature monitoring system using nRF905 wireless transmission module, STC89C52RC MCU and DS18B20 temperature sensor as core. Functions such as sampling, analysis, display, alarm and others can be done automatically by the system, dates transmitted by wireless module, and the system can realize the function of real-time monitoring of temperature.

A set of monitoring system is designed aiming at preventing the derailment of the Rail vehicles. The system uses the eddy-current transducer to monitor whether the carriage is in orbit. Zigbee wireless communication technology is used for data transmission. PLC and host computer are used for data processing and display of the system status. Derailment alarm and control interlock will be made in a timely manner to effectively prevent the occurrence of the carriage derailment.
