The design construction length of conveyance roadway of the mine working face is nearly 5000m and the section area of driving is 18m2, belongs to large section super-long coal roadway. Through advanced mechanized supporting facilities tunneling construction and using reasonable support pattern and labor organization, it ensured the safety of workers, reduced the labor intensity, and realized the safety and rapid excavation with 440m/month. The economic and social benefit is obviously. It could provide reference meaning for other large section coal roadway rapid excavation at home and abroad.

This paper proposes two solutions based on angle diversity receivers (ADRs) to mitigate inter-cell interference (ICI) in underground mining visible light communication (VLC) systems, one of them is a novel approach. A realistic VLC system based on two underground mining scenarios, termed as mining roadway and mine working face, is developed and modeled. A channel model based on the direct component in line-of-sight (LoS) and reflections of non-line-of-sight (NLoS) links is considered, as well as thermal and shot noises. The design and mathematical models of a pyramid distribution and a new hemi-dodecahedral distribution are addressed in detail. The performances of these approaches, accompanied by signal combining schemes, are evaluated with the baseline of a single photo-diode in reception. Results show that the minimum lighting standards established in both scenarios are met. As expected, the root-mean-square delay spread decreases as the distance between the transmitters and receivers increases. Furthermore, the hemi-dodecahedron ADR in conjunction with the maximum ratio combining (MRC) scheme, presents the best performance in the evaluated VLC system, with a maximum user data rate of 250 Mbps in mining roadway and 120 Mbps in mine working face, received energy per bit/noise power of 32 dB and 23 dB, respectively, when the bit error rate corresponds to 10 − 4 , and finally, values of 120 dB in mining roadway and 118 dB in mine working face for signal-to-interference-plus-noise ratio are observed in a cumulative distribution function.

The coal side deformation and sliding can not be effectively controlled by use of the traditional bolt or cable support in the high stress crushed surrounding rock and large section roadway. For solving this problem, the new prestressed truss support technology is put forward, and its supporting principles of roof and two walls are stated. The mechanical model of cable-channel steel truss is established, and then the tensile strength of the cable and the maximum deflection of the channel steel are derived. By way of field investigation, mechanics theory analysis and actual production condition, the scheme is defined and applied in the replacement roadway. Measurement results of surrounding rock behavior show that the coal side displacement is no more than 254mm and the roof convergence is less than 172mm. Apparent economic and technical profits have been achieved.

There are large amount of roof water spray in 10# coal seam working face in Tuan Bai coal mine, and the immediate roof with bedding and fractures was fractured. There are also many fallen columns, roof integrity was affected. Varying degrees of damage appeared by adopting traditional I-beam type passive support, when encountered fault, collapse columns and other complex tectonic areas, it prone to collapse accidents. This paper analyses the adaptability of anchor net support, based on the characteristics of coal roadway with water trickling and burst cracked roof, combined field research, coal and rock sampling and underground measures and test methods; by the application of waterproof anchoring agent, making the bolt, the anchorage force meet the design requirements, and ultimately determine the design parameters. Field trails in the headentry, and by analyzing the rock pressure monitoring data, field tests showed that the effect of supporting is good.

In order to resolve the supporting problems of the open-off cuts with span of 10m in Tashan coal mine No.3~5 coal seams, this study investigated and analyzed the problems in the current open-off cuts supporting and the supporting parameters, and performed laboratory test and analysis to the coal and rock's mechanical properties. The open-off cut wall rock in Tashan mine has the problem of serious deformation and high possibility of sudden falling. After academic analysis and numerical calculation, a new supporting mode is designed for the supporting of large span open-off cuts: unite high strength anchor bar, combined anchor rope, W steel strip, metal mesh and concrete to form a group anchor seal effect, therefore maintain the tunnel wall rock's stability and safety. Engineering test was conducted at the 8105 working face open-off cuts, the anchor rope's anchorage force changes in the range of 140 ~ 160kN, the maximum delaminating value of the roof in anchorage zone is about 7mm, and the maximum roof-to-floor convergence is 38mm. The result shows that the proposed "anchor bar - combined anchor rope - concrete" supporting model improved the overall bearing capacity of the supporting structure, controlled the tunnel wall rock's deformation effectively, and also achieved the desired effect of the supporting design, ensured the safety of the large section open-off cuts.

In this paper, design of roadway with stope working face Yeqing 8459 had been optimized combined with geological characteristics of the working face based on the actual measurement of ground stress and mechanical properties of coal rock of Yangquhe mine in Feng Feng mining area. Analyzing eight kinds of roadway support design scheme through numerical simulation and evaluating the supporting effect of each supporting design scheme, designating the construction guidelines ultimately.
