In this paper an Asymmetric Fuzzy Method for MPPT Control of PV System was described, which is focus on the nonlinear characteristics of solar arrays and it is necessary to create control rules that meet the output characteristics of the solar arrays. Asymmetric Fuzzy control method can solve this question: the input function and membership function reflect characteristics of photovoltaic array adequately, which is different from traditional symmetric fuzzy control. So we can adjust to the disturbance step according to the characteristics of photovoltaic array.

Aiming at the problem that some wind turbines are difficult to achieve stability and low fitting accuracy when they are connected to the grid, an intelligent control method of wind turbine is proposed. Intelligent control is designed, and the output of the control object is the same as the expected output. The initial fuzzy control rules are obtained by the nearest neighbour clustering algorithm and the rules are optimized by the neural network. The fuzzy control and control strategy are integrated to realize the intelligent control of wind turbine with no load. Experiment results show that: compared with conventional control method, the intelligent control method of no-load grid-connection reaches a stable state sooner. The quadratic sum of fitting errors of the intelligent control method is lower than that of the conventional control method, which indicates that the intelligent control method has a higher fitting precision for samples, and the effect is better when the fan is connected to the grid without load.

Manual operation of steerable catheter is inaccurate in minimally invasive surgery, requiring dexterity for efficient manipulation of the catheter, and it exposes the surgeons to intense radiation. The authors’ objectives are to develop a robotic catheter manipulating system that replaces the surgeons with high accuracy. Increasing demands for flexibility and fast reactions in a control method, fuzzy control (FC) can play an important role because the experience of experts can be combined in the fuzzy control rules to be implemented in the systems. They present a practical application of a fuzzy PID control to this developed system during the remote operations and compare with the traditional PID (Proportional-Integral-Derivative Controllers) control experimentally. The feasibility and effectiveness of the control method are demonstrated. The synchronous manipulation performance with the fuzzy PID control is much better than using the conventional PID control method during the remote operations.

Abstract Fuzzy control theory is used to control the unstable vibration of a centrifuge rotor by means of changing support stiffness. The solid–liquid coupling equations of a centrifuge rotor are presented. A fuzzy changing stiffness controller with changeable control rules is designed. Parameters of the controller are optimized by an optimization method. This control method is realized on a horizontal centrifuge rotor. Experimental results show that fuzzy changing stiffness control (FCSC) can stabilize the unstable vibration of a centrifuge rotor effectively.

Regardless its significant potential for generating renewable energy, Moroccan government prohibited the injection of production surplus into the low voltage (LV) network because it still lack the implementing decreases, that represents one of the principal challenges for residential self-production in the country. The focus of this paper work is to introduce and analyze a novel fast MPPT strategy applied in an improved grid-connected Residential PV system respecting the current legislative framework in Morocco, which allow to the consumer being an actor in the energy transition towards a low-carbon society by reducing his dependence to the electrical grid and managing his own energy consumption efficiently by a good switching between photovoltaic (PV) source and the grid and therefore making a framework of smart residence management system. The overall system is designed to improve the energy control performance with two techniques: the first one uses a novel high performance controller to track the maximum power point (MPP) of a photovoltaic array under fast irradiation and load changes. Among the advantages of this proposed controller is the stability of its output voltage with fast response speed to the required parameters. The second one uses a Power Factor Correction (PFC) circuit to ensure the power quality regulation in the grid side via a predictive current control method. Finally, the stability of a closed-loop system is simulated and analyzed using commercial software offering sufficient conditions to validate a practical stability and robustness of the proposed overall designed system.

In the complex control processes of the industrial boiler combustion system with non-linear, time-varying and multivariable, aim at the original control parameters fixed, slow response, delay regulation and other problems, this paper introduces a control method that combines ant colony algorithm with fuzzy PID control, improves the design of fuzzy control rules table and optimizes the PID control parameters. Simulation results show that this control scheme is superior to conventional PID control and fuzzy PID control.

According to the characteristics of photovoltaic array, a novel asymmetric fuzzy PI control method is introduced for MPPT of photovoltaic system. Photovoltaic energy generation system can track the maximum power of PV cell rapidly by using asymmetric fuzzy control. On the base of asymmetric fuzzy control, an added PI control is used to eliminate the power oscillation around maximum power point. Simulation results have verified the good performance of the proposed method

To control the dynamic system, fuzzy control adopts the human brain intelligent reasoning methods, adheres to strict control rules. Compared with other ABS control method, it has good robustness, the characteristics of simple and practical, applicable to a variable and nonlinear ABS control system. In this paper, the fuzzy algorithm was used in ABS system of real car and tested at cold season, completed the ice road surface and the concrete road surface test. We have analyzed the test results in detail.
