A New Algorithm of Fast-Generated Panoramic Images

The new algorithm of fast-generated panoramic images this paper puts forward is to extract the feature points of images by the improved SIFT algorithm, and use Euclidean distance combining the K-D tree structure to realize the rapid initial feature matching. Then, based on these initial matching points and the theory of random sampling consistent algorithm, the purification of feature points is realized. At last, the introduction of correction coefficient makes it possible to eliminate fusion ghosts, and HIS space image fusion is applied in order to eliminate the brightness differences. It is verified by the experiments that on the premise of generation of quality guarantee, the new algorithm greatly improves the generation efficiency of panorama images.

Items detection and recognition have become one of hotspots in the field of computer vision research. Based on image features method has the advantage of low amount of information, fast running speed, high precision, and SIFT algorithm is one of them. But traditional SIFI algorithm have large amount of calculation data and spend long time to compute in terms of items recognition. Therefore, this paper come up with a method of items recognition based on SURF. This article elaborates the basic principle of SURF algorithm that firstly use SURF algorithm to extract feature points of item image, secondly adopt Euclidean distance method to find corresponding interest points of image, and finally get the image after items recognition combination with mapping relation of item image using RANSAC(Random Sample Consesus). Experimental results show that the system of item recognition based on SURF algorithm have better effect on matching recognition, higher instantaneity, better robustness.

Today, with the continuous sports events, the major sports events are also loved by the majority of the audience, so the analysis of the video data of the games has higher research value and application value. This paper takes the video of volleyball, tennis, baseball, and water polo as the research background and analyses the video images of these four sports events. Firstly, image graying, image denoising, and image binarization are used to preprocess the images of the four sports events. Secondly, feature points are used to detect the four sports events. According to the characteristics of these four sports events, SIFT algorithm is adopted to detect the good performance of SIFT feature points in feature matching. According to the simulation experiment, it can be seen that the SIFT algorithm can effectively detect football and have good anti-interference. For sports recognition, this document adopts the frame cross-sectional cumulative algorithm. Through simulation experiments, it can be seen that the grouping algorithm can achieve a recognition rate of more than 80% for sporting events, so it can be seen that the recognition algorithm is suitable for recognizing sports events videos.

Fisheye images with a far larger Field of View (FOV) have severe radial distortion, with the result that the associated image feature matching process cannot achieve the best performance if the traditional feature descriptors are used. To address this challenge, this paper reports a novel distorted Binary Robust Independent Elementary Feature (BRIEF) descriptor for fisheye images based on a spherical perspective model. Firstly, the 3D gray centroid of feature points is designed, and the position and direction of the feature points on the spherical image are described by a constructed feature point attitude matrix. Then, based on the attitude matrix of feature points, the coordinate mapping relationship between the BRIEF descriptor template and the fisheye image is established to realize the computation associated with the distorted BRIEF descriptor. Four experiments are provided to test and verify the invariance and matching performance of the proposed descriptor for a fisheye image. The experimental results show that the proposed descriptor works well for distortion invariance and can significantly improve the matching performance in fisheye images.

A feature matching algorithm based on wavelet transform and SIFT is proposed in this paper, Firstly, Biorthogonal wavelet transforms algorithm is used for medical image to delaminating, and restoration the processed image. Then the SIFT (Scale Invariant Feature Transform) applied in this paper to abstracting key point. Experimental results show that our algorithm compares favorably in high-compressive ratio, the rapid matching speed and low storage of the image, especially for the tilt and rotation conditions.

An art culture from Gorontalo became iconic handcraft is kerawang or karawo. The word “karawo” came from root word of “mokarawo” which means slicing or making holes. It’s created with precision, carefulness, and patience in work using handmade masterpiece. Pattern of karawo itself held four kinds which is flora, fauna, geometric, and nature. From those kinds born vary pattern which come difficult to identify both its names and its kind. Karawo patterns can be form as a single pattern or a pattern that it parts came from several or many pattern combined. Those patterns had its own characteristic from shape and scale perspective. Identifying single pattern on combined pattern are particularly a problem because it’s combined involve scaling and rotation. This research is recognizing single pattern on combined pattern using feature extraction SIFT algorithm which is capable extract feature that invariant from scale and rotation. Feature matching using approximate nearest neighbor (aNN) for similarity of features labor best bin first strategy on kd-tree data structure. Those methods can be a reference to recognize single pattern on combined pattern using from range 5 to 20 match features as a threshold. Testing result indicated recognition accuracy is good which range form 76.36% to 85.45% on recognize the kind of karawo pattern and 76.36% on its name.

To register mobile mapping system (MMS) lidar points and panoramic-image sequences, a relative orientation model of panoramic images (PROM) is proposed. The PROM is suitable for cases in which attitude or orientation parameters are unknown in the panoramic-image sequence. First, feature points are extracted and matched from panoramic-image pairs using the SURF algorithm. Second, these matched feature points are used to solve the relative attitude parameters in the PROM. Then, combining the PROM with the absolute position and attitude parameters of the initial panoramic image, the MMS lidar points and panoramic-image sequence are registered. Finally, the registration accuracy of the PROM method is assessed using corresponding points manually selected from the MMSlidar points and panoramic-image sequence. The results show that three types of MMSdata sources are registered accurately based on the proposed registration method. Our method transforms the registration of panoramic images and lidar points into image feature-point matching, which is suitable for diverse road scenes compared with existing methods.

In video monitoring system of substation, in-process video inspection is used to detect abnormalities and provide corresponding solutions in a timely manner to avoid failures.As the common equipment,electric power tower’s inclination should be detected timely..It was hard to check the fault of tower inclination timely and accurately only by staff’s routine inspection,and it will spent much manpower and material resources by the manner of sensor. A manner of substation video inspection tower inclination angle detection based on SIFT feature matching and OTSU was presented in this paper. The tower inclination angle was calculated through the matched feature points. As is proved in the simulation test, this algorithm features simplicity and it can detect the maximum angle in all case of inclination .

Juxtapleural lung nodules are often excluded from the lung region in many CT image processing algorithms which are based on intensity information. For solving this problem, a suspicious edge line detection algorithm is proposed to obtain the edge line of the suspicious local lung region in this manuscript. Firstly, the lung region in the CT image is extracted by a fixed threshold. Then a SIFT algorithm is used to detect the feature point in the lung region. To filter out the useless feature points, a closest point matching method is used. Then a K-mean method is introduced to divide those feature points into several parts in which the edges of juxtapleural Lung nodules are contained. Experiments over CT slices show that the proposed method has a great performance in detecting the edge line of suspicious regions.

<p>Color correction or color balancing in multi-view image stitching is the process of correcting the color<br />differences between neighboring views which arise due to different exposure levels and view angles. This paper<br />concerns the problem of color balance for panoramic images. A new algorithm is presented to create visual<br />normalization by using correlated feature points between adjacent image sequences. After image mosaicking<br />directly, a weighted average method is used to calculate the pixel value of panoramic image Experimental result<br />shows that the algorithm can achieve images color balance and good visual performance.</p>
