Tension control system is one of the widely used systems in modern industrial control systems. In tension control system PID parameter setting is one of the main problems affecting the control system performance. However, conventional PID parameter is difficult to set. This article describes a PID fuzzy controller based on adaptive learning, which can change according to the deviation and deviation rate to adjust parameters in real time. Practice shows that such self-learning fuzzy PID controller has better control performance than conventional PID controller in tension control.

According to the characteristics of carbon fiber and tension requirement of multilayer angle interlocking loom, tension in the weaving process of carbon fiber needs to be consistent.Based on this requirement, a kind of fuzzy PID controller is designed.Through the real-time detection and feedback of tension sensor, the fuzzy PID controller for the tension control system compensates tension timely, so as to realize the constant tension.In this article, the design ideas of analog PID controller, parameter adjustment rules are introduced.The simulation of tension control system has been done through MATLAB software.The results show that the controller can meet the control requirements.

A rotary MRF (magnetorheological fluids) damper is introduced in tension control systems. An experimental tension control system is designed by using the MRF damper as tension control actuator. Control strategies of the tension control system are studied. A fuzzy-PID feedback controller for the tension control system is constructed and tested, where the variable parameters of the PID were modified by using the fuzzy inference rules. Experimental results indicate that the fuzzy-PID control strategy can be used in the tension control system to get better performance than the conventional PID control strategy.

The PID controllers can be seen in lots of fields, but some complex control system cannot be controlled to achieve a desired performance index. A design method of the fuzzy PID controller that is based on the fuzzy tuning rules and formed by integrating two above control ideas is proposed in this paper. The design procedure about fuzzy PID control can be divided two steps: the first step is to build the fuzzy tuning rules by analysis, and to obtain the parameters of PID controller by reasoning, and then the control action can be determined by the PID control law. The simulation results and the practical control effects show that the compound fuzzy PID controller has better performance than that of the conventional PID control system and meet the practical demands.

When winding yarn, the yarn tension control of a winding machine affects the quality of yarn subsequent processing. For randomicity and instability of the yarn tension in a winding machine, the paper designed a yarn tension control system based on analyzing conventional PID controller, using the fuzzy PID control algorithm to control the yarn tension system and realizing on-line self-adjustment of PID control parameters. The simulation experiment showed that system tension had better response using fuzzy PID control and eliminated nonlinearity and uncertainty of the system.

The test rig for hydro-pneumatic converter used in straddle type monorail vehicles was researched, and its electro-pneumatic proportional control system was set up and simulated based on AMESim/Simulink. Compared fuzzy-PID (Proportion Integral Derivative) controller with PID controller through fuzzy logic tool box in Simulink, the results indicate that, this electro-pneumatic proportional control system can meet design requirements better, and fuzzy-PID controller has higher accuracy and stability than PID controller.

This paper presents a robust fuzzy proportional-integral-derivative (PID) controller for brushless DC motor (BLDCM) control system. The hardware circuit of the BLDCM control system is designed and implemented using a digital signal processor (DSP) TMS320LF2407A and a monolithic BLDCM controller MC33035 as the core. Furthermore, a fuzzy PID controller, which combines the advantages of good robustness of fuzzy controller and high precision of conventional PID controller, is employed in the hardware system, thereby yielding a digital, intelligent BLDCM control system. Experimental results have shown that the control system can run steadily and control accurately, and have convincingly demonstrated the usefulness of the proposed fuzzy PID controller in BLDCM control system.

In view of the fact that the performance of any conventional PID control can t meet the requirement an electric boiler temperature control system, this paper puts forward a kind of improved algorithm for tuning the PID parameters. an adaptive fuzzy controller with adjusting factor is proposed in this paper. Experimental results illustrate that the adaptive fuzzy PID controller achieved the system performance index. The method of adaptive fuzzy PID control is a ideal method.

The introduction of the AQC boiler has complex effects on the temperature of Tertiary air, traditional PID is difficult to achieve the effective control. Combined the method of the conventional PID with the fuzzy control theory, a fuzzy self-tuning PID controller is designed. Compared with traditional PID, results of simulation show that the fuzzy PID controller improves not only the adaptability and robustness of the system, but also the system's static and dynamic performance.

In this paper, we propose a mechanical structure for multi-legged robot. Referring the request of control system, we also made a proper choice on driving means. After dynamics analysis on a single leg of the robot, we make a simulation using ADAMS and get how the torque of each joint is changing when the robot is walking. The model of DC motor is established for the control system. Fuzzy PID controller was used to get real-time response and high accuracy of control system.
