As petrochemical production equipment with a high degree of risk, on-site training of operating staff and management has brought a great deal of difficulty. Therefore, this paper introduces our research and development work based on virtual reality technology to construct a virtual environment of petrochemical enterprises for on-site training of operating staff and management. To establish the virtual petrochemical enterprises, we adopted 3DMAX as a modeling tool, the VRP (Virtual Reality Platform) as a virtual reality platform as an operation platform. First of all, we create the various sub-scene of the area of petrochemical plants and do model integration and processing to result in the virtual scene with the virtual reality software. Then, we set interactive interface, allowing users to interact with the platform, which makes operations easier. We built-in virtual cameras and pre-recorded screen video to help play the presentation of the video content automatically, so that without human interaction will require. Finally, the role of script will blend with the real three-dimensional scene, the 2D panel and the daemon in order to obtain the true visual display. Therefore, the developed virtual petrochemical enterprise platform has a good show with its real intuitive.

The article presents the results of experimental researches of influence of educational virtual reality biological subjects in human thinking. The experimental data show significant positive shifts in the general level of thinking of the subject when answering questions on a specific academic subject, which requires a manifestation of mental activity, and also in characteristics of thinking in solving complicated subject tasks (the predicted level of the sought solution, the character of the analysis through synthesis, the character of the “acceptance-rejection” and other tips). The article also explains some of the mechanisms and regularities of influence of virtual reality on the human thinking. It is noted the complexity of the influence of three-dimensional images of virtual reality, a wide of animation and interactivity. Programs in virtual reality ensure the development of formal-logical thinking due to the establishment by the subject of a high degree of connection between the super-images of VR and the corresponding concepts presented in the text-sound accompaniment. As a result of experimental studies and substantiate the conclusion about the possibilities and prospects of application of virtual reality technology in education are presented in the article.

From the construction of “new socialist countryside” to the proposal of “full coverage of village planning,” rural construction has gradually been pushed to a climax. However, the current situation of rural landscape construction in China is not optimistic. On the one hand, the rural landscape deviates from its rural and regional characteristics due to deliberately seeking novelty and differences. Based on these two extreme development trends, this article uses virtual reality technology to construct a rural landscape virtual-roaming system, and randomly select 25 people, each group of 5 people, a total of 3 groups, enter the system in batches with a real reduction degree of 30%, 45%, 60%, 75%, and 80% for experimentation and score the system after the experience. The true reduction degree of the first group is 30%; the true reduction degree of the second group is 45%; the true reduction degree of the third group is 60%; the true reduction degree of the fourth group is 75%; and the true reduction degree of the fifth group is 80%. After analyzing the experimental data, it is concluded that when the true reduction degree of the system goes from low to high, people’s satisfaction is higher; when the true reduction degree is as high as 80%, the satisfaction is as high as 9 points; when the true reduction degree of the system goes from low to high, people’s sense of immersion is getting deeper and deeper. When the true reduction degree is 30%, the lowest score for immersion is 1 point; when the true reduction degree is 80%, the lowest score for immersion is 7.5 points; the true reduction of the system decreases from high to low; when it is high, people’s interaction degree becomes stronger and stronger. When the true reduction degree is 30%, the lowest interaction degree score is 2 points; when the true reduction degree is 80%, the lowest interaction degree score is 9 points; it can be seen from this that, with the increase in the degree of realism of the rural landscape virtual-roaming system, it is extremely difficult for people to find whether they are in the virtual or the reality, and their immersion in virtual reality is getting deeper and deeper. This test also confirmed the superiority of the virtual roaming system in rural landscapes, and the experience is extremely effective.

Abstract Despite advances in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and the evolution of the graphical user interfaces, rapid creation, editing and visualization of three-dimensional (3D) shapes remains a tedious task. Though the availability of Virtual Reality (VR)-based systems allows enhanced three-dimensional interaction and visualization, the use of VR for ab initio shape design, as opposed to ‘importing’ models from existing CAD systems, is a relatively new area of research. Of interest are computer-human interaction issues and the design and geometric tools for shape modeling in a Virtual Environment (VE). The focus of this paper is on the latter i.e. in defining the geometric tools required for a VR-CAD system and in describing a framework that meets those requirements. This framework, the Virtual Design Software Framework (VDSF) consists of the interaction and design tools, and an underlying geometric engine that provides the representation and algorithms required by these tools. The geometric engine called the Virtual Modeler uses a graph-based representation (Shape-Graph) for modeling the shapes created by the user. The Shape-Graph facilitates interactive editing by localizing the effect of editing operations and in addition provides constraint-based design and editing mechanisms that are useful in a 3D interactive virtual environment. The paper concludes with a description of the prototype system, called the Virtual Design Studio (VDS), that is currently being implemented.1.
