The article presents new fi ndings regarding the evaluation system of talent prerequisites for short triathlon in the pre-peak period, i.e. in junior category (18 – 19 years). We present the current battery of tests and three case studies that bring the possibility of data interpretation. For the evaluation, we used standards (T-points) for individual tests, which illustrate intra- and interindividual diff erences with respect to a given model – the norm. We found out that a below-average result reached in one of the tested areas cannot be compensated by any above-average result in another area. Th e most important issue for the assessment of future performance in triathlon is to fi nd the lower limit of 45 T-points, rather than achieving the highest level in some of the tests. For the selection of talented athletes at the age of 18 – 19 years, it is desirable to seek an individual, who has achieved outstanding results in tests that can be considered to be less aff ected by training (ECM/BCM, VO2max, mobility and concentration of attention); however, another necessary precondition is also the high level of swimming tests with regard to age of athletes. It is rather essential to distinguish between highly trained individuals who already have the minimal capacity for improvement and may not be perspective in the categories K 23 and seniors (the peak of their careers is the junior age).

The external factors that affect the product image design is discussed. Based on Cultural values, external factors such as social culture, national culture, enterprise culture, progress of science and technology are analyzed. The excellent product design is the harmonious and unified performance of the internal and external factors that achieve its ultimate harmony in the Vision, experience, mind of human, it provide consumers with an overall impression. The excellent product design can form a complete and unified image of the product. The above is the product image design for the designers.

The issue of development of expanded (open) model of economic performance, making it possible to account for the specifics of any country or region inclusive of internal and external factors, was considered. An expanded economy model is based on the core economy model containing the system of controlled parameters. Mathematical formulas of the models are presented. The study revealed the principle of the model construction and the way the system of controlled parameters in the expanded economy model makes it possible to «customize» the model against specific conditions of national, regional and sectorial economic performance.

Flight is an economical mode of locomotion, because it is both fast and relatively cheap per unit of distance, enabling birds to migrate long distances and obtain food over large areas. The power required to fly follows a U-shaped function in relation to airspeed, from which context dependent ‘optimal’ flight speeds can be derived. Crosswinds will displace birds away from their intended track unless they make compensatory adjustments of heading and airspeed. We report on flight track measurements in five geometrically similar tern species ranging one magnitude in body mass, from both migration and the breeding season at the island of Öland in the Baltic Sea. When leaving the southern point of Öland, migrating Arctic and common terns made a 60° shift in track direction, probably guided by a distant landmark. Terns adjusted both airspeed and heading in relation to tail and side wind, where coastlines facilitated compensation. Airspeed also depended on ecological context (searching versus not searching for food), and it increased with flock size. Species-specific maximum range speed agreed with predicted speeds from a new aerodynamic theory. Our study shows that the selection of airspeed is a behavioural trait that depended on a complex blend of internal and external factors. This article is part of the themed issue ‘Moving in a moving medium: new perspectives on flight’.

Cottonwood is one of the local commodities that have been cultivated by the community. This is interesting in the selection of kapok as a symbol of Pasuruan Regency which shows one of the main examples and economic support for the community. Kapok Pasuruan production contributed 29.8% of the total production of East Java, namely 25.288 tons. The increasing presence of synthetic fibers drives demand for fiber from kapok cottonwood so farmers are reluctant to increase cottonwood trees more intensively and do not need to cut down to replace other commodities. This if left unchecked will further decrease, kapok production and extinction can occur. This study aims to identified internal and external factors in kapok agribusiness and develop alternative development strategies using the SWOT method. The results showed that several strategies S-O, W-O, S-T and W-T.

Konunun içeriğini güncel siyasi ve hukuki süreci belgeleyen kaynaklar ile kritik söylem çözümlemesi yöntemiyle devletin kimlik belirleme hususu, hakimiyet ve egemenlik çerçevesinde iç ve dış etkenlerin karşılıklı ilişkilendirmeleriyle, kimliklerin kategorize edilerek oluşumu konusunu ‘kesişimsellik’ (İngilizce: Intersectional approach) teorik altyapısıyla destekleyeceğim.ABSTRACT IN ENGLISHAlevi diaspora and multiple identities in Alevism as an ‘officially recognised religion’This paper focuses on the Anatolian Alevis, whose identity is often defined externally by others and they face political manipulation as a leverage group against fundamentalist Islamic tendencies. The way in which Alevism is commonly defined in contrast to Sunni-Orthodox Islam, an institutional and hegemonic faith in Turkey continues with Alevi Diaspora in Europe[1]too. In particular, in the case of Austria (German: Anerkennung als Religionsgesellschaft), where the recognition of Alevism as a religion dates back to 2008/2009 and it shows how the state manipulates the Alevi population’s goals for her own purposes (Amendment of the 1912 Islam Law). This study focuses on the way in which Alevi faith group is divided into two at the end of this process of regcognition in Austria. These groups are the Islam Alevis and the (Syncretic) Alevis. This paper analyses the roles of the Austrian Alevi associations and the Austrian state in this process of division and official recognition. The analyses are based on content analysis of documents on current political and judicial decisions and benefits from critical discourse analysis approach. The intersectional theoretical approach is tested when the dominance and hegemony aspects, mutual influences of internal and external factors as well as identity buildings through categorization are analysed.
