Development of on-site fast detector using for waterproof membrane joint peeling strength has improved the waterproof membrane on-site construction quality evaluation level and construction quality decision capability. Detectors capabilities in two-dimensional movement and multi-angle detection fill the domestic gap. Verification test result of the detector shows that, the peeling force will fluctuate within certain scope with peeling of joints; the longer the membrane is stretched, the greater the error is; the error caused by angle deviation is about 7% and error caused by joint deviation is about 4%, and the test result satisfies the evaluation requirement on waterproof membrane joint peeling strength at construction site. The development of detector improves the construction quality, construction management and acceptance of waterproof membrane.

A roofing manufacturer is motivated to increase accountability, minimize risk and differentiate themselves from other manufacturers to increase their sales. In order to achieve this, the manufacturer approached the research group to implement a warranty program that measures the performance information of their systems and applicators. The manufacturer submits a list of warranted jobs to the researchers, researchers perform a satisfaction check by calling the end users and report back to the manufacturer. Concepts utilized by the manufacturer include the use of warranty to ensure performance decreases risk, transparency is the best way to mitigate risk and risk can be mitigated before it happens. The research revealed that warranty program minimizes the risk for manufacturer and clients and helps differentiates the manufacturer by identifying end users that are not satisfied, applicators that are low performing, jobs that are leaking, customer retention rate and having a running log of satisfaction rating for every warranted job.

Multiple-choice questions (MCQs) are commonly employed tests configuration in healthcare sciences for several years. They are efficient means for formative and summative evaluation of the students in nursing education. If the MCQs are designed competently, it will be a resourceful measurement for a valid assessment of the nursing students. The present study aimed to evaluate the construction quality of MCQs and its common item flaws in core nursing subjects at Faculty of Nursing, then develop an instructional plan for MCQs construction (one best answer format) to guide nursing educators. The study passed through exploratory-descriptive and methodological research designs at the Faculty of Nursing, Alexandria University, Egypt. Two samples were selected: First, 253 MCQs were selected from the different final exams (2017-2018) of the core twelve nursing subjects; Second, 21 academic nursing educators for evaluating of the suggested instructional plan. Both samples were chosen by convenience sampling technique. MCQs Assessment Form (MCQAF) was the first tool used to assess the construction quality of MCQs development and its items flaws. The second tool was MCQs' Instructional Plan Evaluation Sheet (MCQ IPES) which measured the content and face validity of the suggested instructional plan. The results revealed that 45.5% (115 MCQs) of the study sample contained ten item flaws. As regards the assessment of MCQs construction quality, evidently, the majority of nursing subject's exams has mean scores around a satisfactory level in MCQs quality construction. After submitting the developed plan to the expert group, almost the entire group found that the developed plan is accurate, with sound information, considered the useful and valued educational resource. Moreover, it has appropriate content in vocabulary, sentence structure, grammar, and concepts. Likewise, the experts reported that the developed plan is clear enough to be used by nursing educators and it is attractive and interesting self-reference tool. Conclusion & recommendation: less than one half of the study MCQs has ten item flaws and almost all of them obtained satisfactory mean scores in MCQs quality construction. The developed instructional plan is a beginning and beneficial step for nursing educators and considered an instructional mean for MCQs construction guidance. Further studies are application of the developed plan among nursing educators and investigation of the awareness and compliance of nursing educators with the MCQs construction rules is needed.

According to the construction site of Zibo athlete apartment and the relevant standards, the structure constitution of the composite floor system, construction method and the problems that should be paid attention during construction were introduced in detail. Reinforced concrete composite floor system of superimposing box and net beam consisted of small prefabricated components- two reinforced concrete plates locating at top and bottom of the box and the cast-in-site concrete beam. This composite floor system was a whole structure of beam and plate combination, with a continuous box section. The superimposing box undertook the loads action together with the rib beam. The floor system has many advantages such as the industrial prefabricated components, stable construction quality, reduction of labor intensity in construction site and the environmental pollution, and the integral structure.

The laying pipe manipulator is used to lay concrete pipe, and it solves the question of safety, quality, and efficiency in the pipe laying construction site, and the critical question of locating system is studied. The work principle and mathematical model of locating system were established, and the experiment of locating system was done. According to the test result, the work principle and mathematical model of locating system had turned out to be well adapted for requirement. The locating system of laying pipe manipulator can be applied to product development. The mathematical model of locating system supplies the basic control theory for the manipulator to lay and joint concrete pipe automatically.
